Shonda and her team were impressive to say the least. Throughout the planning process, from meeting to meeting and every telephone conversation, they were nothing but punctual and professional. We believed in them and the process and went in with very little ideas other than colors and style. We put our trust in them to work their magic and they delivered! Our wedding was exceeded our imagination and apparently our guests’ as well. To say that it was beautiful would be an understatement. Thank you!

DISCLOSURE: THERE AREN’T ENOUGH WORDS IN WEBSTER’S DICTIONARY & THESAURUS THAT COULD DESCRIBE THE FEELINGS WE FELT THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS & ESPECIALLY ON OUR WEDDING DAY. From the beginning, after our initial consultation, we were sold! During the planning process, Shonda had her list of preferred vendors & very willing to work with & set up consultations with vendors we brought to the table. Shonda always stayed in contact with us via email, text, & phone & if we ever needed to contact Shonda, she was available; if she wasn’t, she’d let you know via text & set expectations as to when she would. Because i was a very hands on bride, Shonda did not make me feel out of place when it came to things I wanted to execute for my wedding day & therefore, it required me to be more involved than most brides. But, if you are not a hands on bride, honestly, the only thing that you were tasked to do is be open to vendors, make a decision, show for rehearsal & the wedding & allow them to execute on a FLAWLESS event production! Basically, JUST SHOW UP! If there were any issues, we were not aware of them because her & her staff ensured that we were well taken care of & did not want us to have any added stress during our wedding day. Shonda has a well-oiled production team, staff, & vendors. I mean, we did not have to worry about a thing. So, if you are in the market for ANY event, whether it be a wedding, birthday, baby shower, retirement, or any other event, please do yourself a favor & book Shonda & AP&D. We are so Blessed to have been introduced to Shonda & AP&D & cannot wait to work with them again in the future! I can go on & on about how perfect our wedding day was but there aren’t enough characters allowed in this review. But just know, it’s not a mistake or any worry when you invest in Shonda & her team. They truly live by their credo “Excellence is our watchword.” So do yourselves a favor & book Anointed Planning & Design for your next stress & worry-free event!

There are not enough words I can say to describe how AMAZING Shonda and her team are! I can truly tell she has a passion and love for wedding/party planning, and I can tell her team shares that same passion as well. From day one she was on top of everything. I did not have to lift a finger, literally. I was stress free, and if there were any issues that came up along the way, I didn't know about it because her and her team took care of everything! Her recommended vendors were amazing as well. Our wedding was absolutely BREATHTAKING! If I could re-live that day over again, I would. Our wedding day ran so smoothly! No one came up to me about any drama that was going on, and her right hand woman, Adrian made sure of that. She is absolutely amazing as well. Shonda and her team were the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She began planning for my wedding one year in advance and she didn't miss a beat! I live in NC, but my wedding was in SC. I was looking for a reliable wedding planner who could handle everything in SC when I'm not available. I was blessed to find Shonda and her team, who executed the meetings and partnerships with the vendors professionally and promptly. In times of panic or distress, she reassured me that everything was handled. It's so calming to have someone like her that you can trust and knows that she has your best interest at heart. My wedding day was FABULOUS and my theme was displayed flawlessly! It was more than I could have ever dreamed of and I'm still getting compliments from the guests. These are just some of the descriptions used by guests for my wedding planned by Shonda and the Anointed Planning & Designs team. After our first meeting, I left the consultation knowing she was the one that I could trust. From the beginning Shonda promised us excellence and that's exactly what we got. She promised us the wow factor and that's exactly what everyone said when they saw the decor. Our wedding colors were popular this year but Shonda made sure our event was like no other. Throughout the 11 months of planning Shonda was very attentive to our planning needs and no detail was left untouched. I appreciated her frequent communication and thoroughness in execution. The professionalism was impeccable! She made sure all the key planning decisions were done early in the process so that there was no last minute stress. Two weeks before the wedding, I was able to relax with all my wedding plans complete and the morning of, instead of being a frantic bride, I was able to be calm and take in all the memories that were being made. I told Shonda I wanted something simply elegant, didn't have many specific requests, but she was able to take what I described to her and made it all come alive. The day was exactly how I dreamed it would be...perfect. Not only Shonda, but all the staff were attentive to me and the wedding party and ensured no detail was missed and every question was answered which made the wedding day flow quite smoothly. My guests were very complimentary of Shonda and her team. She is clearly anointed for this and I'm blessed to have had her plan my special day. I would hands down recommend Anointed Planning and Designs to any bride or individual looking to plan an event. She is AWESOME!

Going back to the first time I met Shonda through my friend which at the time was her current client. I knew that my future husband and I were in the right hands. She was very professional, attinative, confident & knowledgeable about her passion. God has truly blessed her! Throughout the whole process of planning Shonda has been patient with me through everything & I do mean everything! Anything you need to make your wedding a success she will not hesitate to make it happen. One thing I strongly admire about Shonda is that she'll do what makes sense to make sure you and your significant other are well taken care of. I knew she had a team behind her but what I didn't know was that they are just as wonderful as she is. From the photographer, the caterer, floral and design decorator, pastry chef, stationery personals, bartenders, day of coordinator and assistants on our wedding day. There was nothing that they wouldn't do to make sure my King and I were taking care of and treated as such! I am grateful for the support and love they have shown us. To be honest I'm a lil sad now that the whole process is over. Once you invite someone into your life you have intentions of them staying there and not just for a season. My husband and I are and will forever be greatful for all the hard work and dedication that has has given. I would use Anointed Planning and Designs over and over a million times plus knowing we'd get the same satisfaction, guaranteed outcome! Love them all!

I really don't know where to begin. But I remember the very first time that we met in May 2016. I knew from the moment she started talking that she was the one. She was/is very professional and this is truly a passion that she loves. It wasn't a time that I didn't receive a response or a follow up to any question that was asked. I was truly blown away and so was everyone else by the amazing design, beautiful colors and the amazing LOVE sweetheart table... I'm glad I trusted in her services and let her surprise me on my special day with something that's gonna be unforgettable. It was definitely a mouth dropping experience. Working with Anointed Planning and Designs was very different for me I will admit. I say this because as a natural everyday life planner I thought I could handle planning my own wedding and then bring in a day of coordinator. Man, was I wrong! Planning a wedding is totally different and takes a lot of energy and details. Throughout the process Shonda and her assistant was there the whole way guiding my mother and I through everything.
