My name is Tyrone, I am the founder, owner and principal photographer of BeyondtheFocus Photography. I have been a professional photographer for over 5 years and I have a strong passion for capturing beautiful moments, telling a story and bringing a vision to life. Being as though I primarily focus on wedding photography it is important for me to always place my best foot forward to give each and every client the best experience possible. When I'm not behind the camera I enjoy traveling, weightlifting and being outdoors with my adorable greyhound.

We found Tyrone with BeyondTheFocus through a referral. We browsed through their social media, website, and reviews and we were impressed with what we saw. We decided to take the next step and schedule our consultation. We wanted someone who had experience but also someone who could make our experience relaxing and enjoy. After our consultation we decided to move forward with Tyrone, because he was very prompt with communication and also made us feel comfortable.
As we expected our wedding day photos came out beautiful and we had a great experience. We talked through the wedding day schedule with Tyrone prior to the wedding, discussing the important parts of the day with him. He listened intently and even arrived early on wedding day to plan out the best shots. We really appreciated that he captured precisions moments behind the scenes of our parents and made the bridal party feel special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and really appreciate the BeyondTheFocus for capturing our special day.

Tyrone was excellent. He responded to our inquiry right away and was receptive to all our questions. He was willing to travel and was open about all costs. Tyrone was great on location even when one of my relatives brought out their camera. The photos were ready just a couple weeks after the wedding and they turned out fantastic! Would highly recommend Tyrone!

Tyron was absolutely amazing and all the photos came out beautiful. Me and my husband aren't very good with poses, but he was there to guide us. The video that we received was better than we could ever expect. It truly captured the fun and love of the day. He was all around a professional and easy to work with. We will be booking with them again in the future for our anniversary shoot.

Tyrone took our wedding photos/video back in May and did an amazing job! He had a very quick turnaround with the photos and I could not be happier! He had a calming presence on a stressful and cold day and made it very easy to be in the moment. Tyrone did an amazing job with our wedding! Everything went very smoothly with both pre and post ceremony photography as well. He captured some great moments and everything was well exposed. It also helped that he had previous experience with the White House Wedding Chapel in Warren where our ceremony was held. Overall I would definitely recommend BeyondTheFocus!

Working with Tyrone and BeyondTheFocus Photography was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The planning process was smooth and easy, and the guidance we received from Tyrone leading up to the big day alleviated a great deal of stress. His calm and professional demeanor made our wedding day a breeze, and the photos he captured were even more stunning than our memories. But beyond everything that was delivered in within the context of wedding photography, Tyrone went a step further by adding to our wedding experience with a eagerness and willingness to help however he could. All of our guests loved interacting with him and raved about what a positive presence he provided. Beyond the focus really came through for me. My destination wedding got canceled at the height of all Covid, so when I decided to revamp and have a smaller local ceremony, Greg was immediately available. I was able to chat with him about what I needed and he even gave me suggestions of different types of poses. My new zoom wedding went off without any issue and my photos came out amazing! I was very please with the work of Tyrone and his team members on the day of my wedding. They were easy to work with in booking, gathering details before the actual wedding day, and using their creativity to create a special day. Tyrone and his team arrived at the venue early and I never felt like I had to give them directions. They did their job and didn't add any extra stress on to me or my husband. Tyrone photographed our wedding in Atlanta, Ga in October of 2016 and we still get compliments on how beautiful our pictures are when people come to our home! We were a bit nervous about having someone come from another state for our big day but he didn’t miss a BEAT! He was punctual and kept us updated every step of the way before he arrived. He got so many shots of us getting ready that every so often I go back and look at them because the day was such a blur. We spoke a few times before the actual day so he knew exactly how the venue was set up and he knew what we wanted, he also did his own research so he could craft a vision for photos we didn’t even know we wanted! He has a great smile and gives awesome direction so all 10 of our bridesmaids stayed on queue. Once we got through the ceremony and formal pictures he did an excellent job of just blending in and taking all the candids! He even caught my mother in law being tackled during the bouquet toss (she’s ok lol). It was a stress free time and worth every penny to do business with him. You’d have to be crazy to pass up his work, professionalism and overall packages, they were his prices and more.

Tyrone was amazing from our first encounter! He was very helpful, respectful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. My husband is not a “picture guy”, but you wouldn’t know that from the shots that Tyrone was able to get. The day of it was just him and somehow he was capture things in a way that I thought we had multiple photographers! He made us feel at ease all day. In our first meeting I told him that I wanted mostly candid pictures and not all of the posey typical wedding pics and man did he capture that vision with perfection! So look no more— you’ve found your photographer!
