We also used Randy's awesome pizza truck for the rehearsal dinner......it was so much fun and delicious. We highly recommend it! THANK YOU Randy and Shane!! You guys are the BEST!

r our family and close friends as we stayed in fixed up bungalows in The Catskills. There were of course other guests that just came for the day-of and many that stayed at The Sullivan (hotel connected to BHR), all of whom raved about the hotel. Randy and Shane were so helpful and truly respected our vision. They were willing (and happy!) to work with us and once they got a feeling for what we were after, made suggestions to help fill in the blanks. We had a number of special requests - vegetarians, pescatarians, allergies, etc and everyone was so happy. I read the previous review and have to write that we had a number of folks that are in the restaurant and catering business that had to come up to me or message me after the event to let me know how on point they were. A really big plus - they have a kitchen on wheels!! I definitely suggest working with them - especially if you plan to have your wedding in nature - ie a field or remote location in The Catskills. They are prepared and organized and willing to work with you. They have a professional staff of bartenders and waiters that the guests were very impressed by and they made the guests feel comfortable. In general, they are laid-back, down-to-earth people who will deliver high quality food and work with you and respect your choices. We personally didn't want a wedding cake - especially after we looked into prices at bakeries -- BHR suggested a few pie options - including a rhubarb pie that I still am hearing about from friends and family. We were so happy with our day and thank you BHR for everything!!

iligence and hospitality! (Especially Randy, Tony, Shane and Sean). The entire team followed through with all promises discussed since the day we chose The Sullivan/BHR for our venue. Not one detail was missed from having the entire hotel and accommodating our out of town guests, handing out our welcome bags, allowing us to decorate early, making sure everything was on time and running smoothly. No one skipped a beat. Everyone has been nonstop ranting and raving on how perfect everything was! Food! Ceremony Site! Location! Literally everything! My husband’s father has owned & operated a bar & restaurant for over 20 years and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and the quality of food served at our reception. Even the chef from my father-in-law's restaurant(who was one of our guests) commented on not only how good the food was, but that the quality of food was top notch! If you want to have a great wedding day and reception with down to earth people who understand and respect what you want, this is who you should choose for your special day. It was a tremendous value for the service we received! Randy and Tony were also able to help us with suggestions for bands/DJs & other vendors as well. A number of our guests were from the NYC area and loved how easy the drive up to The Sullivan was & its close proximity from the city! This really is a great spot if you are looking to do a Catskills/Hudson Valley wedding!
