He did an excellent job reading the crowd, playing a mix of music that everyone could dance to, and kept people dancing all night! As an added bonus to his exceptional A/V and DJ'ing skills, he is extremely nice and pleasant to work with. We highly recommend him for your wedding or any major event. We also rented a photobooth from Bialek’s. This was a hit with our guests and the attendant was a lot of fun. They even provided us with digital copies after the wedding for us to share in case our guests did not remember to grab their print outs that night.

He was easy to work with and let us pick and choose music to play and to not play, and helped us organize our reception outline. I cannot say enough good things about Bialek's music!

I personally attended this wedding and took at least 6 or 7 different sets of photobooth pictures; which the guests as well as the bride and groom were repeatedly assured the bride and groom would receive copies of. They didn't even have the decency to call when they lost their photos. These memories CANNOT be recreated.

We were looking for a DJ/MC that could have a fun personality and an ability to keep our small group of 70 wedding guests dancing, and he definitely came through! He was also able to provide uplighting and a screen a projector for a picture slideshow that played during the reception. It was exactly as we'd hoped it would be and we all had a great time dancing the night away thanks to DJ Elon!

He gave us a ton of sample playlists that we were able to mix and match. You can give him as much or as little direction as you want. He is very flexible and really listens to all of your requests and needs. He also had a superb ability to read the crowd throughout the night. I’ve never seen so many people dancing at a wedding in my life! Brennan also helped the whole wedding run very smoothly and did a superior job making announcements and transitions between parts of the night. He has a great presence and is a clear, charismatic speaker. So many of my guests told me it was the best dance party they had ever been to and they all told me how much they loved the DJ! If you want your guests of all ages to dance all night long, you must choose Brennan! You will not regret it, he will ensure that your guests have the time of their lives!

essly switch things up last minute. A few things did change that night that was different from our planning, and Brennan was able to transition without any issues. We had so much fun that night and Brennan made such great music selections, which kept the party going! During the wedding process you deal with a lot of vendors (some living up to what they say and some not), but Brennan most certainly surpassed any expectation and we truly appreciate it. In fact, our event manager even commented to us later that Brennan was exceptionally professional with the other vendors, and even pitched in on the clean up! Overall, it's impossible to have a better experience than we did with Brennan. If we could give him 10 stars we would!

He arrived in plenty of time to set up, was prepared, polished and kind to all my guests. Also, his personality blended so perfectly with the tone of the evening. Even when the dancing started to wind down, he was just as upbeat and gave us our "Last Dance" with my close friends. months leading up to our event, DJ Brennan could not have made the planning process any easier. He gave us a number of options regarding playlists and timelines that we used as a baseline to start our planning of our music. We ended up sending him a small list of must-plays, do-not-plays, and just a general sense of the types of genres we wanted to have....and he knocked it out of the park. DJ Brennan's professionalism, thoroughness, and flexibility throughout the entire process helped assure us that the music at our wedding was in good hands, which was a huge weight off our chests. They made it really easy to decide to use them, but I had a special request - to have their DJ do ambient music the groom and I chose for the reception and to also do a silent disco for the guests who wanted to dance. This is where DJ Ricardo of Bialek Music was a rock star. He was really keen on trying out the silent disco set-up (it was his first time). He took delivery of the materials, tested their functionality, and returned them on-time after the wedding for only a little bit extra cost. During my reception, he had one stream of music going for the guests who wanted to chat, and he simultaneously oversaw a dance floor with music he chose and piped into the headphones of all the people who wanted to dance. It was perfect. DJ Ricardo was amazing. I couldn't be happier with hiring Bialek Music to take care of the music and uplights for my wedding.

Dan was absolutely perfect. He made it so that your outdoor ceremony was able to heard by every guest, the cocktail hour and dinner music was perfect, the speeches/microphones were flawless, and the dancing... the dancing was AMAZING. Truly, I would say 90% of our guests were on the dance floor for the entire evening from beginning to end. The music was absolutely perfect and kept the party going all night. DJ Dan was incredibly professional, very responsive and easy to work with. Hands down one of the best vendors that we selected for our wedding and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. We went in thinking we'd play a lot of Motown and blues, but the crowd wanted more dancing music. Rico picked up on the vibe and made the necessary adjustments without missing a beat! He kept the party rolling and made sure we had a great event.

We were initially hesitant to order a photo booth just because of utility, but it turned out to be a hit at the wedding and working all three through Bialeks made the whole process much simpler. Brennan was very helpful in guiding us for picking our ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and dancing with various options for each part and portion. He adhered to our do not play requests, and masterfully captured the mood of the crowd throughout the night, playing hits from across several decades. Guests throughout the night came up to us and could not believe how much fun they were having dancing, some even saying that “was the most dancing I have done in years!” DJ Brennan was very familiar with the acoustics in our venue (Carnegie Institute for Science), making the overall sound quality perfect during the ceremony, various toasts, and the dancing. Even at the end of the night, Brennan checked with us to make sure that all the songs we wanted to play were played. There was one song that my brothers really wanted to play, and after asking if that was okay, he without hesitation played the song, much to everyone’s excitement. Afterwards, he asked if there was anything else we thought of, had issues with, and genuinely sought our feedback on his performance, which was nothing short of perfect. Overall, Bialek s customer service, multitude of options, flexibility, and experienced DJs make the company a perfect selection for your wedding and party event!

I did the "final signoff." I could not have been happier with Brennan. He was very professional and extremely organized. He was my main contact for all music concerns and the lighting coordination as well. He gave us suggestions for music guidelines and templates to complete for the event (must plays, do NOT plays, etc). He did an excellent job mediating all the concerns of all parties involved. He did an great job of getting the intro clips to just the right length and section of the songs. At 11:30 pm, 80% of our guests were still there and on the dance floor. My suggestions to all bride/grooms is to remember that you are hiring a professional DJ. Give him MUST plays and do NOT plays, but don't create a playlist for the whole evening - let the DJ read the crowd and keep it moving. Palm Strings: Quartet for the pre-ceremony and cocktail hour. Honesty, I did not hear the pre-music, but thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail music. Neil gave us suggested lists to choose from, and also asked for MUST plays. He gave suggestions for the various entrances. We had an outdoor ceremony - we should have looked into amplification for the entrances as I could not really hear it due to the venue. The cocktail hour volume was perfect (indoor side ballroom). Lighting: Incredible value and bang for the buck. Totally finished off the ballroom with ambience. Had one color (amber) for the dinner, and then it "jazzed up" for the reception - nothing too fancy - just some periodic color changes, but make a huge impact. Only regret is that we did not think about the ceremony amplification - and went with the A/V equipment thru the venue. Did not realize how pricey the hotel would be. I am sure I would have done better thru Bialek's (and probably would have had better sound for the pre-ceremony). We selected the venue first, and were interviewing Music and Wedding Coordinators at the same time. (All recommended by the venue). The coordinated we liked also worked extensively with Bialek's and with DJ Brennan. We ended with almost all vendors who worked together frequently and liked working with each other.

The day of the wedding I forgot the garter and thus I tossed my bouquet and my husband tossed his boutonniere at the single men, DJ Cruz was flexible and able to always keep the party going. He was never intrusive, and we all did the cupid shuffle at the end of the party :) I highly recommend him! Classy, fun and kind!

He kept things moving and the dance floor was literally NEVER empty. NEVER! We debated up lights, but declined due to budget issues, the DJ's Lights were great! We didn't end up needing them with our space. I have zero complaints - it was well worth the money. to go with Bialek and hire a DJ, we found out Brennan was available and he reached out to set up a call with my fiancé and I in order to make sure we were a good fit with him and to ensure he understood our vision for the wedding. We planned a station party style reception, and during our call discussed the style of the event, the theme, the demographics of our guests, and our personal music preferences. My fiancé and I have VERY different tastes in music, but he laughed with us throughout the questionnaire and provided excellent suggestions. Following our first conversation, Brennan sent us an email with lists of suggestions for each special dance to help us make some decisions. He was very patient while we came up with the timeline (and revised it a few times). On the day of the wedding, Brennan was there early and setup everything quickly. He was excellent during the event and was flexible playing to our guests responses to the dance floor. There were a few small time changes based on food service and the photographer's plans and Brennan just made it work. Since the wedding, we have had so many people tell us how great the music was throughout the night. He was excellent throughout the event and I would absolutely recommend him for a future event!!

We didn't plan our wedding over a year and found Brennan only a few weeks before the wedding. He was great to work with over the phone and email. He guided us through what he needed to make our wedding run flawless. He took our vision and styles and made sure we had exactly the wedding reception we wanted. Brennan took the ball and ran with it. Brennan also provided the music for our ceremony and with very little notice he got all of the timing for each song just right. All it took was a few emails and he did the rest. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. We received many glowing comments from our family and friends. We had a small wedding and there were many kids. Brennan kept the party fun for everyone. From start to finish he was a professional. We highly recommend Brennan for any wedding, but especially those people who want someone they can depend on to keep your reception running smooth and keep the party going!

es we contacted DJ Dan and and we are very happy that we chose him for our wedding. He was easy to contact and willing to meet during all the planning time. My husband and I have VERY different tastes in music and we both have different tastes than our parents and everybody was very happy with the music selection. Our cocktail hour was upstairs in a different room than our dinner so he set up music for both. It was most important to have a dj that was an Emcee able to stick to a time frame and keep the night moving and he did so perfectly! We had a few music requests and he played everything we wanted and was careful to check with me before playing a line dance that was requested because I said I didn't want the electric slide. I forgot to add a Stevie Wonder song to our must play list because it wasn't listed in his catalog (which is an awesome selection by the way) so he found it during the reception and within 2 minutes we were dancing to it. He played Polka like we requested, we had a dollar dance, and we gave him a few must plays and several suggestions and he filled in the rest with perfect choices and there was dancing all night. He was also very polite and friendly. The guests were very impressed and Rob and I were so happy and grateful to him. Thank you Dan. OH! Last minute we decided on a photo booth. So fun and Bialek's made it something that we didn't have to worry at all about. It was great. I think they are probably the best choice for event entertainment in the MD, VA, DC area. Someone who was not thrilled with their service would just be silly!

We originally had our cocktail hour outside, but then it moved inside and he stayed outside, so I was a little bummed that not everyone got to hear how great he was - but it was the perfect accompaniment to our ceremony and cocktail hour! Then, for our MC and wedding we had DJ Dan! He was also AWESOME! We told him we wanted a dance party and he gave us one!! We started with an awesome Hora and then he easily transitioned us through the night's activities and dances right into a mega dance party that lasted the rest of the night after the meal. He was good about denying requests of things that were on our no-play list and sticking to the type of music we wanted played. Everyone had a blast and danced the WHOLE time! Our only bummer was that there was one slow dance must-play that we really really wanted to hear that he didn't end up playing, but the party was so amazing and we've gotten lots of compliments - it will definitely be one that people talk about for a long time!! thanks, Dan!

He was eager and experienced at incorporating our particular tastes and ethnic/religious nuances into the program. Brennan was able to blend a perfect soundtrack for our entire night based upon the genres and styles we requested. Brennan provided us with a boilerplate event and ceremony script that was so good we adopted it as a master event schedule for all our vendors. He was flexible enough during the event to adjust to schedule changes and special requests, and more importantly, he knew when it was appropriate to ask for our guidance or make a decision about timing/announcements himself. He asked us questions early on that we wouldn't have anticipated ourselves. On the day of the event, he finished setting up early and helped us direct and coordinate other vendors. He flawlessly made announcements with his smooth, but assertive voice on-queue. When it came time for the dancing, he created a wonderful blend of well-transitioned and momentum-building dance music that brought all of our guests to the dance floor. Perfect job, Brennan!

Our guests keep telling us how much they loved the music at our wedding! We also booked a photobooth through Bialek's and were very happy with the service.

We didn't hear much of the music during dinner, but that may have been because everyone was talking up a storm; at any rate, the music wasn't missed! However, the song didn't start up for a minute or two, and we were left standing in front of everyone, looking around awkwardly. But like I said, it was only one short moment in an otherwise perfect night!

They were likewise easy to work with, sounded great, and played exactly what we wanted them to. Overall, we'd highly recommend Bialek's.
