We would have never thought of any of those details had Paul not walked us through them. Because of that extra care and attention, our wedding day had no surprises and was a smashing success. Service: As soon as we arrived, Paul was there to greet us and keep us on time. We had told him beforehand we wanted to enjoy our cocktail hour, and he made it so we did. When it was time for the bridal party entrance, Paul was there giving us instructions and making sure we were on time. We REALLY appreciated his attention to details. Paul and Vinny were our DJ and MC combo. From our first song to the last dance, these two were AMAZING. My wife and I still get chills when we think about how perfectly our first dance went because of Paul. We were alone for the right amount of time, and he had everyone join in at the exact right moment. He made us a memory we will always cherish. The music selection was always on point as well. He played all different types of music so everyone would be on the dance floor at all times. Paul’s personality as MC was unmatched. Everyone afterwards told us how great the music was at our wedding. And the dance floor was never empty. During the wedding, the consultation did not stop. He would come up to us and tell us when we should go around and greet everyone. He should offer services as a wedding planner in addition to his great DJ service. My wife and I have been to weddings afterwards, and after seeing other DJs, it made us appreciate Big Apple Entertainment even more. Thank you Big Apple for everything you did for us!

Wrestling Entrances (even during the ceremony) and an appearance by Mr. Met himself! The dance floor was packed ALL night! I've been to many a weddings when the bride or groom has to go up and request 'X' amount of songs. My wife and I didn't need to do that at all. The playlists were mixed to perfection and everyone had an absolute blast. We also used Visual Impressions as well which is the sister company of Big Apple for our photo and video. Again, professional and friendly group of men who were on their A game from the arrival at my wifes parents house until the last dance. Fun, enganging, friendly and up for anything. It was a perfect night and in large part because of them and all the hard work they put into our special night.

during our first meeting and felt confident in our decision. We opted for basic DJ/MC services to cover our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We also opted for a photobooth. On the day of the wedding, our guests couldnt stop raving about the DJ's music selection and, in addition to the great music selection, the tone of the reception was set by the MC, Eric, who made the atmosphere fun. Everyone loved our photobooth and at the end of the wedding, we were given a guest book with copies of all of the photos taken by our guests (with hand written messages from them), as well as a flash drive with all of the photos. You will not be disappointed if you go with Big Apple for your special event!

At the reception, our guests would not get off the dance floor because Paul and his team did a great job gauging our guests and knowing what music fit them (ages 18-55). No one would want to leave (even to eat their dinner). At any given time, there was always at least 50 ppl on the dance floor. Paul was fantastic, he was never intrusive and made sure that hubby and I were his number priority. His team was great in making sure that we didn't have "un-welcomed song requests" or mike "interruptions". Big Apple truly made my wedding reception-- they did such a great job that my sister/maid of honor is considering them to do her wedding! Thanks Paul &Team!

THe lighting, the logo, the setup was beautiful and we could not ask for more. The team at Big Apple Eric and Pauly are so responsive, they responded to all my phone calls in a timely manner. We provided tracks for the father/daughter and mother/son dances, as well as really specific instructions for our intros and they did everything perfectly. He didn't get in the way too much when it was time to announce the bride & groom or cut the cake, etc. He was really fun and tasteful and everyone had a terrific time. Paul was fantastic to work with and I would definitely use him again for another event. He coordinated with the photograph and the maitred' at the venue so everyone would be in the right spot at the right time. He played great dance music in certain parts, and had great background music in other parts so people could more easily have conversations. It was really well done. I saw other very positive reviews on The Knot about Paul and they were all true. I have nothing but major praise for Paul and Big Apple Music!! They're the best!!! :)

or my ceremony, so Big Apple, for an extra charge, piped music into my cermony. I burned a CD for them with the music that I chose. I found out the day of the wedding that they never tested the CD on their equipment. Luckily I had my Ipod with my music on it and they were able to use that. The reception was a huge hit because of big apple. They were in tune with the crowd and if one song made people leave the dance floor, they would quickly change to another one. They made the boutinere and bouquet toss a lot of fun. They even went around the reception hall with digital cameras, took pix of the guests and put them upon the big screen. They also created a "photo montage" of my and my husband's baby/childhood photos and displayed it on the big screen. The guests got a real kick out of that!

c I knew he HAD to be our DJ. He's down to earth and is not like other DJ's that just want your business. They are actual people that really want to make sure your wedding is top notch. They went out of their way accomadate our schedule even after business hours. It was just so easy to work with them. Eric made my special day perfect, the last thing you want on your special day is a person that you can't trust handling something as important as your music. We 100% trusted him and every choice that he made on the wedding day. The day of our wedding was obviously the best day of my life but Eric made it so easy for us. There was no stress and it felt like he was a friend attending my wedding. He was dancing and getting the crowd up from the minute they walked in the door. I can't say that I have been to many weddings where the party REALLY started from the minute that we walked through the door. It was non-stop great music that everyone till this day has raved about (our wedding was 2 years ago). We have seen/met with them numerous times since our wedding and I just can't say enough great things about them. I can actually say that they are people that we can now refer to as our friends. If you want a DJ company that is easy to work with and someone that you can actually have a person to person conversation with, then Big Apple is the company that you should definitely go with.
