Big City Limousine Service

If there was a way to give a half a star, I would do it. I hired this clown show to provide a party bus for my wedding party and to shuttle guests to and from their hotels and back to our venue (all downtown). The owner, Joe, seemed nice enough when I met with him to drop off my check (which was practically cashed before I got home from meeting him). His driver showed up at my house on the day of my wedding to take my best man and I downtown to get ready at the hotel we were staying at. Literally a mile from my house the party bus (if you can call it that) breaks down. We sat there as the driver frantically called Joe for help. My best man started to call around for other limo companies. Our driver put me on the phone with Joe who told me that he would not refund my money if I hired another limo company. He said he reserved the right to get us another limo. Based on this information, I chose to allow him to try to fix the situation. He got on the phone with my best man and told him that I would receive some sort of discount for the inconvenience. This discount was never received, even after I called and emailed Joe numerous times. Joe finally shows up with another limo that looked about 15 years old. The thing was a total beater. Air conditioning didn't work. My wedding was in late August so it was hot outside. Not good. My best man and I were then driven downtown by our driver. We were told that they were going to send another shuttle/party bus for us so we would use two shuttles. Shuttle #2 was in worse shape than the first shuttle. I was shocked that it actually ran all night without the engine blowing up. After we returned from our honeymoon, I tried repeatedly to contact Joe regarding the "discount" he mentioned during this fiasco. No return emails or phone calls. I finally just gave up. I understand that mechanical failures can happen, but when you run a limo company, I would think that you would have all your vehicles checked before picking up a client. The icing on the cake was when our driver said "I took that bus to Chicago last week and there was a problem with it then." So Joe knew that there was an issue the week prior to my wedding and chose to sit on his hands. On the most important day of my life, I did not need the stress that this clown created. I would rather walk than use this guy again.

My husband got a limo for me and 7 friends for my 30th birthday. The limo was 30 minutes late to pick us up. When we were 10 minutes away from our destination, we heard a loud noise and the back of the limo dropped and started scraping on the road. The driver pulled over because he thought one of the tires blew out. The tires were fine so he called the owner, Joe who told him to keep driving. As the driver started down the road again, smoke and exhaust started coming rapidly into the limo. We told him to pull over immediately and we all got out of the limo. We were on the side of the road waiting for almost two hours. Finally, the owner Joe showed up with a second limo. Joe told us all to get into the second limo. We did. As the driver was putting the 2nd limo in reverse to continue driving us to our destination, the 2nd limo broke down as well. The group of 8 of us got out immediately. The driver got out with a battery pack and jumper cables. The owner, Joe popped the hood and said, "A wire came loose". At this point, we walked up to Joe and told him that we would want a full refund. Joe said we would get our money back. All 7 other women who were with me were witness to this. Unfortunately, we had missed all of the birthday plans because we spent most of the day on the side of the highway. When we called to about the refund, the owner Joe refused to give any money back. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. Bottom line: We did not receive the services we paid for. The limo was 30 minutes late for pick up, broke down TWICE, causing us to miss all of the birthday plans. To top that all off, when we filed a BBB complaint and wrote bad reviews (on review sites!), Joe called the Waukesha County Sherriff Department claiming harassment, extortion and cyber-bullying. My husband told the sheriff our side of the story...interesting how nothing came of the call. I sure wish Joe would just do the right thing and refund us the $300 that is rightfully owed to us! I am currently seeking legal advice.

We fully paid for the Big City Limo Party Bus to drive us around for wedding photos, but the bus broke down. The driver did all he could to fix it, but the owner/manager did nothing to help. He wouldn't pick up the phone to speak with the driver, and he didn't refund us any money. We were very disappointed in the service, quality and value. We DON'T RECOMMEND this business for any event.

We made a decision to go with Big City Limo and use it as our limo service for pictures, but then we also used them for shuttle services from the hotel to our Venue at Western Lakes. Our Limo bus was great and perfect for both transporting our wedding party for pictures, and also for shuttling all our guests. Not to mention we had the best driver in the world (if I remember correctly his name was Mark). He was our driver for everything, and he was so helpful with loading all of our stuff. And he was just so thoughtful of my entire wedding party. He helped with holding flowers during pictures, and held the guys jackets when they weren't wearing them for some pictures, and always offering a helping hand when we were getting on and off the bus! He has a great personality and we truly had the best experience. Would definetly use them again for an event!
