Big Daddy Cakes is a Custom Cake Baker based out of Frisco, TX. Owner and baking enthusiast Mike McVea loves nothing more than seeing the expression on to-be-weds’ faces when they see their custom-made, quality cakes. Perhaps the only thing that comes close to this joy is the actual process of baking itself! Mike’s key ingredients for making the perfect cake include premium produce, a little bit of love, and a creative mindset.
Big Daddy Cakes was born out of Mike’s sheer passion for making custom cakes. What started out as fun experiments for his beloved daughters has transformed into a career in cakery. He tailors the taste and aesthetic to reflect each couple’s requests and enjoys the collaborative process along the way. Serving the Dallas and Fort Worth region, this company caters to weddings for up to 150 guests.
Whether you desire cakes for any one of your pre-wedding events, Big Daddy Cakes has got you covered. Mike can provide gluten-free options, delicious Italian cream creations, and white almonds with fruit filling. There are plenty more flavors to choose from and these can be discussed during a consultation or via an online form on Mike’s website. Edible decorations include fondant embellishments and multi-colored icing accents. This talented cake artist wants to know all about your theme and color scheme so that he can devise a design that is unique to you.
