e had recently gotten married with him as an officiant. Allen was so funny, good-natured, and helpful as I took the time to figure out what I wanted! Debbie wrote some amazing and touching vows for us that perfectly reflected what I wanted--a great balance between nontraditional but still religious. It just "worked", and Rev. Jeff Rogers who married us was so kind and calm and a wonderful addition to our special day. I'd absolutely trust Allen and Big Daddy Walker with anything wedding-related! I'm so glad to have worked with them.

we had known him for years, and the conversation flowed easily in and around all things wedding. He was genuinely interested in us as individuals AND as a couple, and the vision we had for our wedding - and not just for the music. And during that conversation, Allen said that he already knew which of his DJs would be perfect for us. After that first meeting, we booked their services, and began working with him through the portal they provide to start capturing details of the wedding timeline, specific music, names of the bridal party, etc. The portal was super-easy to use, and kept us organized and thinking about our wedding day and what type of music we wanted for each part of the day. About a month before our wedding, we met with Allen and our DJ, Patrick Wallingford. Patrick may come across as a bit shy and reserved at first, but as soon as we started talking about music, he came alive! His passion was VERY apparent. Music is very important to my (now) husband and I, and there were so many songs that meant something to us - probably because we had been together for 9 years! Patrick offered fantastic suggestions which led to us customizing a set list for our cocktail hour and a different set list for dinner music. We weren't really thrilled with the version we had of the song we wanted for our processional, and Patrick absolutely wowed us with the version he researched and ultimately used. The musical timing was absolutely PERFECT for the processional and my entrance. As an Emcee, Patrick had a commanding presence without being overbearing. He kept the evening moving along without being hurried. He also kept our guests out on the dance floor for over three hours! I think that they only wandered off the floor when we brought out the late-night snacks! :-) Patrick's attention to us went above-and-beyond. He checked in with us periodically to make sure that everything was to our liking, and made sure that we had everything we needed - up to and including getting us drinks whenever he saw our glasses empty. We highly recommend Big Daddy Walker productions for their superior customer focus and attention to detail. Ask for Patrick!!!

My friends are still raving that this party was the best and just what they needed. This was great value for the price and top notch service. He was very great at every touchpoint, checking in before the wedding at just the right times and puting up with all the Covid craziness. I put a song on the "must be played" list that isn't a super well-known song but it's really dancey and it's one of my husband's favorite songs. Allen must have listened to it ahead of time because as we were cleaning up he mentioned he was trying to find a spot for it all night and when the moment came he put it out there. No one on the dance floor knew it either but he played it at such a perfect time that people danced to it like crazy! he was hiring Big Daddy Walker as the DJ. I knew nothing about him but it seemed incongruous with our reception at the Hall of Mirrors at the Hilton Netherland. Well, I was wrong! He and his wife worked so beautifully with Heather and Ryan to plan the music for both the wedding ceremony at The Norman Chapel and the reception. We did not have a wedding coordinator so the expertise of Debbie at the rehearsal was invaluable. Allen and Debbie joined us for the rehearsal dinner and we had a great time! Allen took much of the worry out of my hands for the reception and he kept the party rolling. It was a perfect evening in an incredible ballroom with beautiful flowers, fabulous food, and a stunning wedding cake. The program and music by Big Daddy Productions brought everything together and added to the magic of the evening. I highly recommend Big Daddy Productions!

With less than 2 months notice that we gave him, he helped us with the structure of the ceremony and reception, he assisted our officiant friend with the ceremony, and accommodated any crazy requests that we had. He provided us with an online music selection tool, speakers, microphones, and lighting. We were also able to pick songs as they progressed. I know he is able to MC weddings/events, officiate weddings, and even provide karaoke style music - if that's what you are looking for. I couldn't recommend Big Daddy Walker Productions enough. If you hesitate at all, give him a call, he is a great guy. He will help you out whatever you needs are.
