Our DJ, John, was integral in making our wedding a success. He worked with us to plan out the musical direction of the evening and executed everything perfectly during the event. He understood the vibe we were trying to create and kept the dance floor going all night. I would highly recommend.

We just had our wedding last night and Patrick was AMAZING!! We had to adjust our schedule a few times due to basically the hurricane like weather we had. He kept the the vibes up and truly made our wedding day special

5 stars is all can give here, but these guys absolutely nailed it at our wedding! Having a good dj for your wedding is absolutely critical these guys are basically your go to coordinator when the timeline matters! Ultimately the entire event pivoted flawlessly at every point. I felt soo reassured once we had our first sit down meeting, having to plan your own wedding can be soo stressful, but once we made our timeline with Mr. Walker in his very nice office, all of our stress disappeared! What can I say, they are more than a DJ, they are your event planner and driver. I personally requested Mr. Walker himself, because he did my friends wedding. come to find out, it was his birthday on our wedding date, and he still came!!! He could have sent his amazing staff but definitely a show of commitment and reputation. Not sure hiw else to emphasize how mission critical these guys were, they went above and beyond my expectations.

I had chosen Big Daddy Walker Production DJs because I really wanted to have a vendor who knew what they were doing so I wouldn't need to feel worried about coordinating the reception timeline. I did not have a day of coordinator and I planned the entire wedding by myself so this was very important for me. I was really happy with how well organized the company was, my specific wedding experience just wasn't great. The company has very thorough forms for you to fill out, and is great about communication in the months leading up to your event. The 3 stars is for the overall experience with the company, not the DJ we had for the day. The Good: Our DJ played the songs that we asked. He was good with announcing the intros for the bridal party and got everyone excited. He helped coordinate sound for the ceremony and arranged for a microphone for our passage readings. The Bad: We were not able to have cocktail music outside on the patio and in the bar area (only one area was able to be set up). The DJ ended Cocktail hour 15 minutes early to get guests to sit down (under 100 people, small venue). This resulted in confusion from my photographer, I did not get to enjoy my cocktail hour as I had just made it inside, and my photographer was unable to get decent detail shots of the reception area with our candles lit before guests took their seats. (This was extremely important to me, because again, I planned the entire wedding and really wanted to be able to see what my work looked like and have photograph memories of it. The DJ gave her attitude when she tried to explain that she needed the guests to stay clear for a little longer. The photos that I have are very rushed, and extremely minimal. I am gluten free and so for our cake cutting ceremony I told Patrick, our DJ, that the kitchen would need to go get the small gluten free cake I was going to eat from the kitchen so he didn't start the ceremony unexpectedly. I spoke this to him at the reception and he acknowledged it (it was something I could have seen happening on accident, so I wanted to give him a heads up). We were playing part of the evening by ear in hopes of taking sunset pictures so I was giving him some ability to make the calls on timing. He announced the cake cutting ceremony without consulting me or my photographer, and before anyone in the kitchen had been notified so my groom and I had to stand around our cake table for our entire cake cutting ceremony song awkwardly waiting for someone to bring us a cake and a knife because they were not ready. He looped the song which was nice but it took away from the moment and our guests weren't sure what to do. I had a reception dress change and the DJ chose to do the anniversary dance while I was not there, so I was not able to participate in it or watch it. I missed the entire special dance, and it was the only special dance we had chosen for our guests to participate in. Initially, our first conversation with Patrick seemed great and I was excited, but after interacting with him I would suggest a different DJ as he seemed to be the personality that thinks he knows best and then, as with my wedding, ended up causing more issues by doing things his own way. I was very disappointed. The music was great, but that is because it was songs that we had chosen.

Claire, I want to thank you for taking the time to share your concerns and disappointment about your wedding day. My wish is that it wouldn't of been 2 months later which confuses me. We try extremely hard to make every event perfect. I wasn't...

aware Patrick took all the extra equipment at no charge to make sure he could try to make sure you had sound in 3 different locations. You ,your mom and I discussed this and I made it clear to have music in 3 locations would be difficult without adding additional equipment that would raise the price . Sadly Patrick got a message at 11pm from you asking for him to bring extra equipment for the ceremony and sound in different locations. Without approving thru me he did as you asked and you weren't happy with what he provided for the free. This will be one of the items I will be reviewing with him and our team. My crew cares and they go above and beyond what our couples pay for , to make the day as great as possible . I spoke with Patrick and he is extremely disappointed since at the end of the night he was told by many people how great everything was, including your husband . But truthfully you are all that matters. A couple other items , I stay in contact with the DJs thruout every event and that evening things were running a little behind due to longer photography times than was expected, the hall spoke with Patrick and had him go ahead and ask the guests to make their way in for dinner. Keeping the timeline as tight as possible is vital to making the wedding day great.We've never experienced needing to ask people to leave the reception area for the photographer to take photos since 99 percent of the time this is done long before dinner time. Patrick did say he doesn't remember not seeing you for the the anniversary dance which was at 10pm per the timeline you wanted us to follow . The cake situation was discussed with the kitchen five minutes before the cutting and he just assumed that was enough time for them to be ready. Regardless we didn't meet your expectations and we all feel horrible about that . Over 1000 events this is our first 3star review and this is a call for us to find ways to be even better . I hope the night was still fun and great and there are some good memories that will be taken away from the evening. Again thank you for your review and constructive criticism.

We could not have been happier with the work DJ Patrick did!!! All the guests at our wedding were saying Patrick was the best DJ they’d ever experienced! All the little details, making announcements, hyping the crowd when needed, our intro’s, the ceremony timing… I could go on forever.. We would not change a single thing!!! Thank you so so much!!! I wish I could give 6 stars because Big Daddy is the BEST! We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He was welcoming and exciting, kind and energetic, while still maintaining a level of professionalism. He communicated well with all our guests and the night flowed smoothly because of him. I had the most amazing experience with DJ Jeremy at our wedding! He kept the dance floor packed all night and played all the songs we requested. His professionalism and energy were outstanding. Big Daddy (Allen Walker) did a fantastic job with our 50th Anniversary party. We are big Motown fans and he had all of our favorites as well as accommodated my granddaughter in finding just the right version of the song she wanted to sing. I can not give a higher recommendation.

My organization hired BDWP to set up a photo booth for a foster care family event. The kids LOVED the booth, Patrick was great in effectively wrangling the sugared-up kids and their families for pics, and our staff thought that the photo booth was one of the highlights of the party. BDWP are true professionals and do an excellent job! We will certainly be calling them again to be a part of future events.

Since my first consult call, Big Daddy Walker productions was incredible! They helped achieve our dream soundtrack to our wedding day. We worked with Jeremy and our ceremony went off without a hitch even with really specific sections of songs that needed to be played. Then he kept people dancing the ENTIRE night to the last song!! Best dance floor ever. He was also super flexible with the inevitable bumps in the timeline. Can recommend with 100% confidence for your big day!!

BDW came through for me when no one else could. I am responsible for our high schools homecoming dance and when I tried to find a DJ everyone was either booked or too expensive. I called BDW and he met our price and said he would find someone to DJ for us and not to worry. The DJ he sent was FANTASTIC and the kids LOVED the dance. I cannot say enough good things about BDW and I highly recommend him.

We had their DJ services for our wedding this past Friday and we're very happy with how it turned out. The DJ was a huge highlight for everyone's night! I'm sure a lot of people grabbed the business cards. The DJ, Jeremy, was so nice and professional, he always asked us what we liked and helped out when we needed it. 10/10 recommend them!

Alen was great marring us. I was very nervous and he made it very Comfortable once the ceremony started. It was Beautiful. Jeremy our DJ was excellent we weren’t very organized with our part but he over looked it all and fit right in. The guest loved the music he played and we had a lot of people come up and ask who and where we got him. The pre-wedding planning was super helpful- I liked how Allan helped us discover our perfect ceremony! Allan took time to visit the venue site in advance. The DJ for our ceremony played all the tunes we asked for and did it in a really organic way, gauging the crowd and getting them in the groove to dance!! I had the pleasure of having Patrick from Big Daddy Walker Productions DJing my wedding. If I am being honest the word pleasure doesn't even begin to describe the level of satisfaction my Wife and I felt from having Patrick DJ for us. He was not only very personable but also very accommodating. He was punctual and he alleviated as much stress off our shoulders as he possibly could. At first, I was skeptical because of my unfortunate paranoia but after meeting Patrick everything felt so right. Thanks to Patrick and his boss Allen. I not only have been able to experience a night I won't forget. I was also able to appreciate that there are people out there that find more enjoyment in helping others and creating great experiences rather than a bigger bank account. 100/10 I would recommend using Big Daddy Walker Productions as a choice for DJing any event!. Wow! Allen is amazing! Allen, along with one of his DJ team members, handled the music for my daughters wedding. We had 401 people in attendance at the Cincinnati Museum Center. If you know the museum you know the sound could potentially be tricky. We had not a worry in the world from the moment we met him. He was full of confidence, which we needed because we had never hired a DJ before. He immediately informed us of the speakers we needed for their space and how he would get 400 people, or at least we hoped for half, to be on the dance floor throughout the night. We hired him before we interviewed anyone else. He totally took charge and gave us relief from all the worries I had read about that could potentially happen. We were confident and gave him total control of the night, for our music wants and by being our MC. Our meeting with him prior to talk about what we wanted could not have gone any better. We felt so good walking out of his office, a weight lifted from our shoulders and given to him. Allen and his co-worker were amazing. The dance floor never had less then 200 people on it the entire evening, and we had a 5 hour reception! I cannot say enough about Big Daddy Walker Productions. He set the tone from the second we all walked into the building. Never once did we question his abilities. Years of experience and we felt blessed to have found him. They are by far the best in our eyes. Thanks Allen for helping to make our day so special. The memory of that night and how perfect you made it will always be a part of us.

Our DJ Patrick was amazing. He followed every guideline we gave him and honored our requests. And he even played one final song after what was supposed to be the last song for my brother which meant so much! We also had to cancel our photo booth last minute and Allen took care of it for us with no issues. Highly recommend this company and the DJ Patrick!!!

Allen, Debbie, and everyone we worked with at Big Daddy Walker Productions was kind, lovely, and so attentive to what I wanted on my wedding day. I came to Allen on my wedding coordinator's recommendation, for simple officiation services, as she had recently gotten married with him as an officiant. Allen was so funny, good-natured, and helpful as I took the time to figure out what I wanted! Debbie wrote some amazing and touching vows for us that perfectly reflected what I wanted--a great balance between nontraditional but still religious. It just "worked", and Rev. Jeff Rogers who married us was so kind and calm and a wonderful addition to our special day. I'd absolutely trust Allen and Big Daddy Walker with anything wedding-related! I'm so glad to have worked with them.

Jeremy, and Allen were both a pleasure to work with! Jeremy was our DJ for our wedding and everyone raved about his quality of service and how kind he was! Is 10 stars allowed? BDW kept the dance floor rockin all night at our wedding! Allen and his assistants ARE THE professionals to work with. Allen made my day go so smoothly and assured me I just needed to relax on my day, he would take care of it! If you’re on the fence about booking take my word for it and book with them. typically you get what you pay for but he delivered so much more!

Allen was professional from start to finish. He performed admirably as DJ/host for our daughter's wedding and reception. When our original minister was forced to cancel at the last minute, Allen stepped in as the officiant and did a remarkable job. Can't say enough nice about Allen!!

We choose Big Daddy Walker productions for DJ/Emcee services on the recommendation of our venue owner/wedding planner. We had a quick conversation with Allen Walker over the phone and then met with him in person. That first meeting felt like we had known him for years, and the conversation flowed easily in and around all things wedding. He was genuinely interested in us as individuals AND as a couple, and the vision we had for our wedding - and not just for the music. And during that conversation, Allen said that he already knew which of his DJs would be perfect for us. After that first meeting, we booked their services, and began working with him through the portal they provide to start capturing details of the wedding timeline, specific music, names of the bridal party, etc. The portal was super-easy to use, and kept us organized and thinking about our wedding day and what type of music we wanted for each part of the day. About a month before our wedding, we met with Allen and our DJ, Patrick Wallingford. Patrick may come across as a bit shy and reserved at first, but as soon as we started talking about music, he came alive! His passion was VERY apparent. Music is very important to my (now) husband and I, and there were so many songs that meant something to us - probably because we had been together for 9 years! Patrick offered fantastic suggestions which led to us customizing a set list for our cocktail hour and a different set list for dinner music. We weren't really thrilled with the version we had of the song we wanted for our processional, and Patrick absolutely wowed us with the version he researched and ultimately used. The musical timing was absolutely PERFECT for the processional and my entrance. As an Emcee, Patrick had a commanding presence without being overbearing. He kept the evening moving along without being hurried. He also kept our guests out on the dance floor for over three hours! I think that they only wandered off the floor when we brought out the late-night snacks! :-) Patrick's attention to us went above-and-beyond. He checked in with us periodically to make sure that everything was to our liking, and made sure that we had everything we needed - up to and including getting us drinks whenever he saw our glasses empty. We highly recommend Big Daddy Walker productions for their superior customer focus and attention to detail. Ask for Patrick!!!

Big Daddy Walker Productions sent Patrick for a Dance Party in our back yard for about 50 people. It was not a wedding. Patrick was prompt, professional and fun. He sensed what the crowd needed and knew how to keep everyone dancing for 4 hours! Even quite a few non-dancers got up and joined in the fun. He incorporated all of the songs from a playlist I sent, added some I wish that I had thought of and took requests. My friends are still raving that this party was the best and just what they needed. This was great value for the price and top notch service. I would definitely use Big Daddy Walker Productions again.

Patrick was phenomenal and all that we could’ve ever wished for in a DJ! He knew how to keep the party going and how to keep guests on the dance floor. He also went above and beyond and got my dinner plate for me and asked the rest of the head table if he could get anything for them. Allen also did a great job officiating and was so easy to work with. Allen helped my husband and I throughout the entire planning process and checked in with us along the way as well which was so nice! We are so pleased with both of the services we received through Big Daddy Walker Productions!

Allen officiated our ceremony and also DJ’d our receptions as “Big Daddy.” He was such a blessing to work with and made our perfect day possible. He even helped to incorporate into our ceremony a 2 year old recording my husband had, saying his vows when we had only been together for 5 months. Allen rolled with the punches and read the room perfectly. There wasn’t a second that people weren’t dancing and singing and having a blast all night. These gentlemen did a fantastic job! Prompt, well informed, courteous, followed bride's instructions and song choices. Kept the audience informed on when things were taking place (announcing the bridal party, food procession, first dance, cake cutting, etc. Also made adhoc announcements for the bridal party. A really fun and energetic DJ who kept the party and dance floor active! Love them!

I can't stress this enough, if dancing is on your "must be amazing" list for your wedding then you absolutely have to hire Big Daddy Walker Productions. We worked with Allen who is absolutely stellar. He and his crew don't just show up the day of with a random playlist, you can tell they put time and energy into working ahead of time to create a structure that gets people onto the dance floor. He was very great at every touchpoint, checking in before the wedding at just the right times and puting up with all the Covid craziness. I put a song on the "must be played" list that isn't a super well-known song but it's really dancey and it's one of my husband's favorite songs. Allen must have listened to it ahead of time because as we were cleaning up he mentioned he was trying to find a spot for it all night and when the moment came he put it out there. No one on the dance floor knew it either but he played it at such a perfect time that people danced to it like crazy! If you're considering hiring Big Daddy Walker Productions don't hesitate, they're great to work with and will get your party going exactly how you envision it!

Could not reccomend them enough! We initially did a lot of work with Allen who answered all of our questions and gave great feedback on our music selections. He was prompt, professional, and you could see his passion for his business in all interactions. He hooked us up with our DJ, Jeremy, who was the best DJ match we could have ever asked for! He communicated so well to us during our wedding for all the special moments to make sure all went as planned. Our music was exactly what we had envisioned and even though our wedding was on the smaller side he kept our friends/family dancing the entire time! Big Daddy Walker Productions was my go to! I had been to a few other weddings and he was the only DJ I had ever remembered! So happy we had Allen for our special day!! He even pronounced our last name right from the first time he said it! (And it’s not an easy one)!! So many people danced, I have gotten text messages of how sore people are from the constant dancing! We even extended our party because everyone was having so much fun! Whenever we had a question or needed anything, they responded right away. Our DJ, Jeremy, was great with our guests and even interacted with them for a dance! After meeting with Alan Walker I knew I had found our DJ for our special day. He was so personable and professional and made the whole process so easy. He engaged the crowd and included the requests of the bride and groom! Allen Walker is first of all one of the sweetest and most genuine people you will ever meet. He will most likely greet you with a hug when you first meet him. He is extremely easy to get in contact with, responds very promptly (for me it was always within the same day), and is very flexible. He knows what questions to ask, and also shows interest in getting to know the two of you as a couple. Before our wedding reception, the way we input all of our info that he needed was very user friendly and fun to use. I was so worried about not remembering all the little details that came to my mind at random moments. However, his website took care of that for me. You can input absolutely every detail you could ever think of into his website for your event. It is amazing. When it comes time for the event itself, you’ll be blown away by his bubbly personality and skills. The music, lights, small scale setup, music volume, and announcements were all executed perfectly. I will never regret having him as our DJ. He made the day unforgettable.

Allen was the DJ for my wedding, and I can’t tell you enough how awesome he was. From the very first meeting, Allen made everything so easy and very reassuring. He also meets with you personally a month before the wedding to go over all the songs you want and tells you exactly the order everything will be played. Once the reception came, Allen literally had everyone on the dance floor. He even had people on the dance floor that normally don’t dance. We even bought an extra hour with him because people were not ready to go home. I can’t tell you enough how great Allen and his assistant were. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you book him for your wedding!

Allen is awesome. Hands down, he MADE our evening. Our wedding reception was so much fun! He read the crowd perfectly, and kept people on the dance floor. SUPER happy with Big Daddy Walker Productions! They took the time to work with us to put together a really great playlist and time line. He happily put up with our many changes. 5 STARS Big Daddy Walker, thank you so much for making my daughter’s wedding reception fantastic! The reception venue was a cold and dreary barn, but the DJ/MC did such a great job, that the party was a blast. The dance floor was hopping all night; he gauged the crowd just right, and kept things lively. One of things I loved was that not only were the young adults and the children dancing, but even the older adults were dancing. My husband has known Allen, or as most may know him, Big Daddy, for a number of years now, so when it came time to looking for a DJ for our wedding, there was NO question! Allen was both our Officiant for our ceremony as well as our DJ for our reception. From start to finish, all was wonderful. On top of our beautiful vows that Allen’s wife, Debbie, assisted us with, we also appreciated his flexibility and openness to adding in our unique unity cocktail ceremony. He beautifully portrayed our relationship throughout the ceremony and we loved it. When it came time for the party to start, he was no longer Allen, he was Big Daddy! He worked so hard and alongside our coordinator to keep us on track and on time! There were a few times my husband and I slipped behind in time due to pictures but Big Daddy was ALWAYS able to pull us back and get us caught up! The whole day and night went so smoothly and there is no way that would have been possible without him! Allen was always so responsive, helpful, professional and organized. On top of that, he was always so friendly and exudes this true happiness to see you each time he greets you with a smile and a hug for a meeting. Big Daddy Walker Productions played a huge part in the success of our wedding day and we are so appreciative! Thank you for all you have done for us!

I’ve known Jeremy for a few years from some karaoke nights, so when I needed a DJ for my wedding, I had no doubt this was my go-to. I had some pretty good expectations, but I have to say, Jeremy blew everyone out of the water! He kept the party going and it was literally the best night we ever could have asked for.
