Christine saved the day!!!!!! The morning of my wedding my original makeup artist canceled due to a family emergency. To say I was devastated would be an understatement. Luckily my bridesmaids pulled together and were able to find Christine and she was at my hotel suite in record time. She was kind, professional and understood how emotions were running that morning. She quickly set up her station and worked seamlessly with my hairstylist to make sure we were on track for the day. Christine listened to what I wanted my makeup to look like and oh boy did she deliver!!!!!! My makeup was flawless and my bridal party looked beautiful. She turned what could have been a disaster into such a success and I am forever grateful. I’m definitely a satisfied customer and would look no further than Christine for your special day.

Christine and Ashley at Big Day Beauty were phenomenal to work with. They were easy going and flexible and were so accommodating to last minute changes and additions. They worked efficiently without sacrificing quality and were able to do every hair and makeup style requested. All of my bridesmaids also appreciated that for both hair and makeup each bridesmaid was able to go look at their hair/makeup and let Christine and Ashley know if they wanted any adjustments before they wrapped up. Christine and Ashley are so sweet and made the getting ready process so much fun, and everyone gelt beautiful with looks that lasted all day. My hair even made it through a windy ceremony without budging!

Christine from Big Day Beauty is AMAZING. She did a phenomenal job for me and my bridal party - several of my bridesmaids commented that they had never had such a great experience getting their hair professionally done. I was so happy with the hair and make up that Christine did for me - I felt completely like myself in the very best way. She did my make up exactly as I asked (I wanted to look natural, just a bit more elevated, and she nailed it) and she did WONDERS with my super thin hair. Not to mention, she was incredibly efficient! She drove up to our venue (an hour from her salon), arrived early, and finished everyone well ahead of schedule. Highly, highly recommend!!

Chrissy was a dream to work with on my wedding day! She accommodated 11 HAIRS between myself, all my bridesmaids and my moms. She did a fabulous job organizing and sticking with a timeline to get them all done- there was no time pressure, it was such an easy flowing day and I am so grateful to her for that! Not to mention, everyone looked absolutely stunning. My hair in particular is very long and Chrissy pulled off my dream wedding hair style of a very loose bohemian low-do with natural flowers, I got so many compliments! :) Would absolutely recommend Big Day Beauty!

I highly recommend Big Day Beauty for bridal and bridesmaids hair and make-up!! I did numerous trials with other professionals in the area, and Big Day Beauty gave me that natural yet elegant look I was going for. The day of, Christine looked at a couple of inspiration photos and created beautiful up-dos and curled styles for all of my bridesmaids that lasted through a humid summer day/night. My bridal updo was exactly how I described and did not move the entire day. Ashely did a fantastic job on everyone’s make-up, including the mother of the bride. She prepped our skin before applying products and all of our make-up lasted through the after party. Both Christine and Ashley listened to our hair and skin insecurities and ensured that we all felt confident and beautiful with how we looked. We had a great time getting ready with them and it was clear that they are very passionate about what they do!

Christine and Big Day Beauty were absolutely fabulous. The girls did excellent work and made everyone look incredible. In addition, they were hilarious and helped put everyone at ease. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. I wish I had another occasion special enough to use them!

We LOVED working with Chrissy! She showed up to the middle of no where Maine, at 7 am and was so energetic, professional and happy! One of my bridesmaids wanted to be her new best friend and begged her to stay later! She did hair for 4 bridesmaids, the bride, and a flower girl and make up for the bride and a bridesmaids in a matter of a few hours. She was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with! Christine from Big Day Beauty did a phenomenal job for the hair and makeup of my wedding party and was an absolute pleasure to work with her throughout the entire process. I did my hair and makeup trial about 2 months before my wedding day, and Christine was able to replicate the look from the trial on the actual day-of, perfectly. When she finished my hair and make-up, and I looked in the mirror, I felt so beautiful and confident. On the day of (4/21/18), Christine was prompt on her arrival and then extremely efficient at keeping all of the bridesmaids on a strict schedule to be ready in time for pictures. She was also very fun to be around and kept all of the bridal party relaxed while we got ready to shine. Best of all, everyone’s updo and makeup stayed on through the entire day and did not smudge or fade at all.

My (now husband) and I planned a very last minute elopement this past summer. We came from approximately 5 hours away, and we had no guests or bridal party. Christine was beyond accommodating with trying to help me schedule as well as driving from a distance to come to me. I was blown away with how kind and sweet she was, and she was great with my two dogs! My hair and makeup came out flawless, and I felt like a real princess! It poured the day of our wedding, and the rain let up in time for our outdoor ceremony. Throughout the next 2-3 hours, the rain went from drizzling, to pouring, to a steady rain. All our pictures were outside with no umbrella - and my hair and makeup stood up to everything, even lasting through the night til it was time to go to bed. To have someone come from over an hour to glam up one person, and then have that glam job last through awful weather?? You won't find that anywhere else. I cannot recommend Christine enough and I if I ever need a beauty day when I'm up her way again, I will definitely be going to see her. She is totally amazing and wonderful - you will be making the best decision in choosing her for your big day!

I have been friends with Chrissy for three years. Ever since we met she has been my stylist for my regular cuts and color. She does an amazing job, so there was no question that when I got engaged she would be doing my hair and make up at my wedding. She took the picture I had in my head and made it a reality! I could not have felt more elegant or beautiful on my wedding day and I owe a lot of that to her!

I cannot recommend Christine more highly. I am SUPER particular about my hair and makeup and have never liked the way I've looked with professional makeup... until Christine. Christine is very skilled and made me (and my many bridesmaids) look flawless. My look was glamorous but not over-the-top. Big Day Beauty is absolutely fantastic! I have worked with them as a bridesmaid and, most recently, as a bride. I have never been disappointed and they have always exceeded my expectations! Their price is extremely reasonable compared to a lot of other vendors in the area, especially when you consider how amazing their work is. Christine and Ashley are extremely flexible- I added a flower crown somewhat last minute to my hair and Christine was able to completely see my vision and execute flawlessly! Their makeup is extremely natural and light-feeling. Most of all, they are so nice to work with- extremely kind, friendly, and down-to-earth.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christine and Kayla. Christine was patient, responsive, and a terrific problem-solver as I planned my (relatively quick) Maine wedding from out of state. She matched me up with an excellent hair stylist (Angie Adams) and Kayla stepped in to do a super job with makeup. I absolutely (and enthusiastically!) recommend Big Day Beauty.

Christine and Ashley are incredible! They did my hair and makeup for my wedding and also for two weddings that I was a bridesmaid in. For all the weddings, they were on time (6am for one of them!), with smiles and ready to work! They do amazing work and I would highly recommend them for any bride! You will not be disappointed! Unfortunately, I can't comment on the actual make up or hair skills of this stylist, as she booked another wedding on my date. I made sure I was on the ball about booking vendors more than a year out from my wedding, since I live across the country and wanted to meet with them while I visited over the summer. After one of my bridesmaids found Big Day Beauty online, I reached out to schedule a trial. After several back and forth emails, and a little miscommunication, it turned out that she was unavailable on my date. Luckily, she is well connected with other vendors in the area and worked to rectify the situation by setting me up with another H/MUA who could conduct my trial and was available for my wedding date.

I couldn’t be happier with Christine and Big Day Beauty! They were so easy to work with and very accommodating to me and my bridesmaids. Every one looked fantastic and loved their hair and make-up. One of my bridesmaids originally was not going to get her make-up done but after seeing everyone else’s asked if she could. Christine and her partner were so flexible and were able to get everyones hair and make-up done with plenty of time to spare for mine. I loved the way my hair came out and my make-up was perfect all night long, even through the after party! Having them come to the hotel was so great too because the girls could come and go as they needed (I had a few new moms in my bridal party) and it made the schedule run so smoothly. Loved Christine and Ashley! The original make-up artist I had booked for my wedding had to cancel on me 6 days before my wedding. Luckily, after making many phone calls I connected with Christine. It just so happened she purposely didn't book a wedding for that upcoming weekend because she had plans to go away. I was married in a church, and had an earlier start time so it ended up working out where she was able to do my make-up. I honestly couldn't have been happier! Christine and Ashley came in to the hair salon at 7:30am, and seamlessly completed 8 people - no problem! Everyone was happy! They did amazing make up on me- even with no trial! I was very happy with it! My last minute change in a make-up artist worked out for the best!

Very unhappy with the communication. It was an unreliable source and I was constantly made to feel like I was working for her, rather than receiving a service. It was upsetting and I was left to seek alternative services.

Christine and Ashley did a fabulous job on the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and I on my wedding day! They were on time, fun to work with and did an amazing job managing the different hair and makeup needs of everyone. The only area for improvement I can note is that communication on the front-end was a bit slow; but Christine does amazing work and delivered with everything else, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her :)

I can't say enough good things about Christine! Christine was so accommodating with my schedule when setting up a hair trial. I showed her a few pictures of what I had in mind and the result was perfection. After the hair trial I couldn't wait for the wedding day and to see how beautiful the rest of my girls hair would be! Christine and her make up artist Ashely showed up right on time the morning of the wedding. I had a few girls that hadn't really thought about what they wanted to do to their hair and Christine was very helpful in guiding them to a style that would work with their hair length. Everyone's hair came out perfect and 10 hours later it still looked perfect, not a hair out of place! One of my bridesmaids even slept in her updo and the next morning it still looked great!! Ashley did a wonderful job with makeup as well. I had airbrush done and again 10 hours and lots of happy tears later my make up didn't need one touch up! Not only did our hair and make up come out beautiful but Christine and Ashley made everyone feel comfortable and were very easy to talk with. Truly outstanding customer service! I highly recommend working with Christine and Ashley on your wedding day. The last thing you want to stress about is looking your best when you walk down the aisle, working with Big Day Beauty will take that stress away!!

Christine and her partner got my eight bridesmaids, mother in law, and me ready in time for my ceremony, on site! It was convenient, friendly, and fun, and they created ten beautiful and different looks that suited each of the girls - everyone was so happy with how they looked and felt pretty. They did a wide range of looks and styles for bridesmaids with very different complexions and tastes. They were also willing to redo parts of my makeup when I had second thoughts - they were very patient with my hesitations, gave me a chance to speak up, and then addressed all of my concerns - beautifully. I felt SO confident and glamorous all day, and the makeup held up through twelve hours of drinking, dancing, and fun! You can't go wrong with them. They were very friendly, punctual, easy to work with - just great.

Bottom line... You want Big Day Beauty for your wedding! Outstanding hair and make up (we looked like classy supermodels... All of us!) Christine and her staff was completely professional and on time. We had a lot of people for hair and make up and everyone looked absolutely stunning! Christine also uses credit cards which was convenient for many of the wedding party.

Christine did a beautiful job on my hair & my wedding party's hair for our May 3rd Wedding!! I actually ended up changing my hair style after we did the Trial Run & Christine did a perfect job without ever practicing it on me! The wedding party adored their hair styles & received an endless amount of compliments. Christine's quality is excellent, she works very fast & her prices were very reasonable. I worked with Christine from Big Day Beauty for my wedding hair and makeup. Christine was really great to work with - she was fun and friendly and really knew her stuff! We did a trial for both hair and airbrush makeup, and Christine was open to making changes, but I loved what she did on the first try. She was able to travel for onsite services on the wedding day, and all I needed to provide was an outlet. Christine is the owner of Big Day Beauty, and she brought Ashley along with her to do makeup for me and my girls because we didn't have a ton of time to get ready and there were 7 of us. They showed up to the hotel perfectly on time, and brought everything they would possibly need to get all of us ready in time for my wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. My hair was exactly what I asked for, everyone else loved theirs, and those who had makeup done were thrilled with that as well. Christine is great to do business with, and very convenient and flexible. She came to us at the hotel, and is credit card equipped on her phone. I don't think there's anything I would change about their services, and I would definitely recommend them to any brides looking to have their hair and makeup done on their wedding day!

Christine did my hair and make up, as well as my 6 bridemaids' hair and make up, on the day of my wedding. She and the other hair and make up artists were wonderful. We all loved how our hair and make up turned out. I met with Christine for a hair and make up trial a few weeks before the wedding. I couldn't make up my mind as to what I wanted, so I met with her again for a 2nd make up trial. Christine was great and very accommodating. She listened to what I wanted and I could not be more pleased with how I looked on my wedding day.

My hair looked beautiful after Christine was finished. Each hair was perfectly placed and looked stunning. Ashley not only made my eyes pop, but made my skin look flawless. She topped the look of with fake eyelashes. I felt like a princess on my wedding day and got many compliments thanks to them.
