Big Day Photo & Video

We had an extremely disappointing experience with this company for our wedding photography and videography. We were recommended them from our wedding planner. When we booked, we were under the impression the owners would be handling our wedding. We specifically communicated that we needed someone who could provide direction since we’re not naturally comfortable in front of the camera. However, just two weeks before the wedding, we were reassigned to a different photographer/videographer who lacked the ability to guide us through poses and key shots. They missed multiple important moments, including our first kiss, entrance to the reception, and our T-shirt toss. We had explicitly made several requests for a photo of the bride with her grandmother and other family members, which were never taken. On top of that, we didn’t receive any sneak peek photos and had to wait an excessive amount of time for editing to get our pictures back. When we finally did, every outdoor image had a giant crane in the background—something the photographer insisted was the “best” location for photos. When asking about editing the crane out, they wanted to charge us extra, and would take another several weeks. The editors of the video/photo were not the same as the ones who shot the wedding, so we feel like they missed the over all vibe. We were given the raw footage, and even then there were gaps of video missing, that we discussed were important aspect we wanted on video previous to the big day. To make matters worse, they uploaded our wedding video to their website for promotional purposes before even sending it to us. We waited weeks to receive it. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. If you’re looking for a team that listens to your requests, captures key moments, and delivers professional-quality work in a timely manner, I would not recommend this company.
