eams - it was not only beautifully decorated, but incredibly delicious (we chose the Whenevah). When we show pictures of our wedding day, everyone comments on the bride’s dress, the cake, and everything else, in that order. We could not have hoped for anything better!
Gabrielle created the most beautiful cake for our October Maine wedding last year. I cannot recommend going to her studio for a tasting consultation enough. It's an absolute must. ...
She is a professional chef who knows flavors and textures very intuitively. We are still waiting for photos from our photographer, but the cake was beyond gorgeous--a green monochromatic Lambeth cake with floral and produce embellishments. The sponge and buttercreams were to die for. Working with Gabrielle was such an easy and pleasant experience. 10/10
Absolutely incredible cake. We went with a non-traditional chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream, and a strawberry compote filling, and Big Fish Cake Studio ...

ep in the planning process when we were recommended to reach out to Big Fish by our wedding planner. From the first email to wedding weekend, Gabi made sure that our ideas for not just one cake, but two cakes were the perfect combination of our personalities with the flavor, and decor of our wedding vibes. Gabi was communicative, transparent and one of the most down to earth vendors we worked with. If you are looking for wedding cake vendor who will just add that much more to your big day, definitely work with Big Fish Cake Studio!

o matter how far we are traveling. Gabby was a very carefully selected choice for our wedding, and for good reason - we knew we have to pick someone perfect. From the start, Gabby was the most gracious and patient baker who listened to our many, many whims and at the end, created the most breathtakingly beautiful and delicious dessert spread we have ever seen at a wedding (and we weren't trying to one up anyone!). She created completely custom desserts for us - from literally the best palmiers we have ever had to the most beautiful chocolate and raspberry tarts. She provided her expertise when it came to customizing - she knows what goes well and what doesn't! She is 100% a baker to pick and trust. We were already asking about ordering our anniversary cake 2 weeks after our wedding because of how delicious everything was - and one of our friends who is a big foodie and restauranteur could not stop gushing about the custom lemon and pistachio cake (and the palmiers)! Thank you Gabby!
Hands down, the company to partner with your your special events. Amazing, incredible, professional, and ultimately the best desserts!

make our wedding pies, but she also came up with some amazing ideas for summer pies! When we went to the tasting, I was completely floored by how delicious they all were. We had: lemon meringue pie w/ homemade graham cracker crust, mixed berry lattice pie, pear + apple + cardamom pie, chocolate cream pie, and my favorite: peach bellini pie! We actually ordered so much that we had plenty of pie for days afterwards (which I was actually glad for, because I didn't actually get to each much on the day!), and they held up really well even days later. I am still DREAMING about these pies, and will probably dream about them for the rest of my life. SO GOOD. Thank you so much!!!!!

Moon theme wedding and not only was it beautiful to look at but it was delicious to eat - our guests raved about it as we do! We highly recommend Gabby for a beautiful experience - and don't forget to do a tasting - she goes above and beyond to give you just the flavors you want - our cake was Earl Grey with a Bergamot Curd (she specially sourced the bergamots), and a chai strudel and buttercream - it was to die for!
I am so happy that we found Big Fish Cake Studio on the knot and led us to Gabrielle. She was so responsive with helping us plan our dream wedding desserts. We weren't really sure ...
exactly want we wanted or where to start but Gabrielle was there from the start with advice and ideas. She helped us narrow down flavors at the cake tasting, suggested themes and design ideas. The cake was so beautiful, it was almost hard to cut into because I didn't want to ruin her beautiful design. The flavors were better than I could have imagined, she also made a variety of cookies and donuts for the ceremony and after-party, and people could not stop raving about all the deserts! We plan to come back to Saco for our anniversary to get a mini cake.
Gabrielle's cakes are truly work of art (I will continue to follow her on instagram!). She is very responsive and will answer questions and help guide you in both flavors and looks...
