Big Green Truck Pizza

Some of the best pizza ever! I never had this place and trusted them for my wedding and they did not disappoint. They kept on pizzas with 50 guest and all my guest loved it. My only recommendation for the company, ask for a point of contact if you’re coming to a wedding. They called my phone at 515 which was the middle of my ceremony so I didn’t see the call for 5 more hours. If they called somebody else they would have seen the call much sooner and could have helped.

We had the pleasure of working with BGTP for our wedding on 9/9/2023. It was awesome! Not only was the pizza delicious but the staff was amazing. They had a least 12 different pizzas out at a time, plus delicious salad and gelato. We absolutely loved having them on our big day!

We LOVE Big Green Pizza! They are truly a full-service caterer with tons of pizza options, salads, gelato, and cappuccinos! My "foodie" parents were initially hesitant to book "just a pizza truck" for the wedding, and came away from the wedding talking about how good all the different types of pizza were. It was the perfect option for our 175-person outdoor summer wedding, and it was the first vendor we booked. As we went through the planning process, we continually believed that this was the best decision we made. It is *so* easy to accommodate dietary restrictions, since it is all self-serve and customizable. Absolutely incredible option for parties large and small.

WOW! Our wedding guests are still talking about how good the pizza and gelato were! Coming from a 100% Italian, "foodie" family and being apprehensive at first, those are strong words! the variety, food being hot, and just all-around on-point, we were so happy. We paid extra for them to set up early to avoid ceremony noise in our 100-person backyard estate wedding, tented in October. They were such a joy! We plan to find them around and give them business an enjoy their food. Awesome job, BGTP! We will continue to drop your name and info. as our guests ask for their own events!

I cannot say enough about how great this vendor was for our backyard rehearsal dinner/family reunion celebration. They arrived right on time and plenty of delicious pizzas kept coming out of that beautiful oven and truck set up. Gracious accommodations for children and gluten free guests. Kind staff. The family is still talking about them. We are looking for an excuse to have them back! You won’t be disappointed!

Pizza is one of our favorite foods and we knew we had to have it at our wedding. Our wedding planner had worked with Big Green Truck Pizza and recommended them. The truck is not only adorable but the pizza was delicious! They set everything up so nicely and our guests loved all the options that they had to choose from!

We had Big Green Truck Pizza cater our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. It was one of the best parts of our wedding and we sort of regretted not having them cater our actual wedding! The pizza was delicious and the two people making/serving them (I have forgotten their names since it was a while ago) were incredibly friendly, accommodating (like they made pizzas with vegan cheese for some of us vegans there!), and all our guests raved about them and the pizzas.

We recently had Big Green Pizza Truck at our wedding in Fairfield, CT and I can say without reservation that my husband and I couldn't be happier. They showed up on time, the food was amazing and all of our guests loved it. We wanted a non-traditional wedding with our favorite food and it worked out perfectly. The pizza quality and toppings were top-notch. The staff was polite, worked diligently and filled all of our needs, with bringing the pizza inside for buffet style. Highly recommend this awesome crew. 5/5 A+

We used The Big Green Pizza Truck as the Food Truck for our wedding. All around, they were a pleasure! Liane was a pleasure to work with from day one, the tasting was excellent, organized and delicious! She was accommodating and provided us with a great night. She was always responsive and communicative. She provided input when asked and worked with us to find a final package that worked for our budget and to ensure our guests had exactly what they needed. We were delighted with the array of ingredients available to make pizzas of all types. They take into consideration their environmental impact, food allergies and are very purposeful with the food options and add-ons available for any party, but a great thing for a wedding (espresso/cappuccino, gelato, etc). Having food trucks was a gamble as a wedding dinner choice, but NO ONE was disappointed. People actually told us it was the best wedding dinner they ever had and LOVED every pizza they had to offer. They also sent us home with all the extra pizzas, which was such an amazing surprise and great thing since as the bride and groom, we didn’t get to try much food. Thank you The Big Green Pizza Truck and Liane for making our wedding incredible!

Just had the BGPT at our wedding this past weekend! We are still receiving compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was! This is artisanal, New Haven pizza at its finest. They also serve salad, gelato (6 different flavors) and cappucino/espresso as part of the meal. It is a no-brainer for couples that want a laid-back wedding. In addition to the amazing food, the staff are very friendly and easy to work with. They were prompt to our event and churned out pizzas faster than I could blink. Our guests got more than their fill and were so pleased with the presentation. A must!

We Used the Big Green Pizza Truck to cater our September 28, 2013 wedding at the Dudley Farm. We wanted a more untraditional, relaxed wedding; one that people would talk about afterwards. The Pizza Truck made that happen! They were terrific! Food was amazing, people were amazing, and things could not have gone better. They even let people take pictures from inside the truck for memories sake! I was extremely pleased, and would highly recommend them to anyone, for any party!

This is a very unique venue for a wedding- exactly what we wanted. They were excellent. The pizza was superior and we are big Frank Pepe fans. The selection of topping available were enough to keep every guest happy. Very well mannered, friendly staff. Our guest are still talking about the pizza truck. They are very punctual and stick to a time schedule. Pizza, green salad, cappuccino and espresso and gelato were all served precisely.
