About this vendor
Long before Big Oak became a place where new love stories begin, this land was home to generations of hardworking Virginia farm families. Today, this remarkable estate stays true to its farm roots and allows couples to become part of the Big Oak legacy. Your wedding should be timeless and classic; so should your venue. Celebrate your way for one to three unforgettable days surrounded by mountain views, a historic 200+ year-old barn, a restored 1892 Manor House, a vintage corn crib bar, and the people you love - all at a surprisingly affordable price. One price. No surprises. No hidden fees. No stress. Why choose Big Oak? Because you can have your wedding, your way. Our couples do not simply rent a space for a few hours. They slow down, stay and celebrate together with family and friends, and become part of the legacy of a place that has been welcoming families for generations. Bring the caterer, photographer, and vendors you love, or allow us to do the heavy lifting for you.

We attended an engagement party here and...WOW! This place is the perfect combo of country and class. It was an 85 degree day and HOT, but there was plenty of shade and breeze upst...
airs in the barn to keep things comfortable and the downstairs was nice and cool. The only thing more gorgeous than the bride-to-be was the views...mountains, rolling hills, horses! My boyfriend spent most of his time hanging out at the bar area, which was an old corncrib. Super cool! He and the fellas also enjoyed playing cornhole. There were a few other games but my favorite was getting to pet the horses along the trail. Oh, and I'm not sure how they did it but the restrooms were super classy but also country chic. I will definitely be keeping this place in mind whenever I get married!
A beautiful property that surpassed all expectations for a wedding venue, and a special place to tie “the knot” with my forever best friend! Jen and Ian truly put their hearts into...
creating such a perfect space for our families (and many others!) to come together for our wedding. Staying in the Manor house made our weekend much easier, with being able to decorate the Barn and set up for our event without having to leave the property at the end of the night; we truly appreciated the convenience of the whole concept! I would recommend this venue for ANY event!! Thank you Jen and Ian for allowing our special moments to become a chapter in the story that Big Oak Manor & Ranch has to tell!

e absolute wonderful & amazing people to work with! The barn, the manor house, and the views are absolutely breathtaking! Both events turned out beautifully. I had so many compliments that I have definitely recommended the venue to prospective clients. I cannot thank Big Oak Manor and Ranch enough for making our events extra special!
Recently attended an event at this venue and it was perfect; history meets modern days. The views are spectacular, the manor house had space for everyone, and the barn... Come see ...
