During the pre-run, the officiant went out of their way to approach our DJ and was adamant about the new song order you referred to. Since the ceremony had to move inside due to the rain (Big shout out to the venue staff, they were absolutely terrific throughout the entire night), our DJ felt sympathetic and didn’t want to burden you with the added stress of ceremony song logistics when you had so much else on your plate. He instead chose to trust the officiant’s word which was unfortunately incorrect. Because of this, our new policy is to always double check sudden ceremony changes with the couple getting married, no matter what. We’re very sorry you had to deal with this and please know that we will grow from it. Jumping into the Mother Son Dance. Our DJ had both the Father Daughter and Mother Son songs cued on tracks 1 and 2. You’re absolutely correct that our DJ played the wrong track at first. 100% our bad. However, it was only for a few seconds before our DJ quickly mixed into the correct song and the dance continued smoothly. On one hand, we’re very sorry this happened. On the other, it’s hard to imagine someone using this as a basis for writing a 1-star review. Like any business in the wedding industry, public reviews matter. Please consider the damage you’re inflicting in accordance to the mistakes that were made. You posted this same review on Wedding Wire, giving us 3.8 stars (as of this time), which we appreciate and also feel is more reflective. In response to your dance floor notes, you’re implying there was dead air between songs. This is simply not true and bodes no further explanation. Regarding the song transitions, we are sorry that you did not like the beat matching software our DJ has used for over 1,000 successful weddings. After getting all the facts, it sounds like that by the time your open dance started, your mind was already made up about us and we could do no right. Truly, we’re sorry you had to deal with two separate song errors compounded by a stressful rainy ceremony and a mixing style you didn’t enjoy. But please keep in mind that in addition being DJs, we are also human beings. We all sneeze. We all fart. Even our most experienced DJs accidentally play track 2 instead of track 1 from time to time. What you failed to mention was that our DJ was prepared, friendly, arrived early, worked with the venue staff to accommodate the rain, set up the equipment with no audio issues, managed your timeline, played and mixed the songs from your request list and kept the party going. While we acknowledge the 2 human mistakes that were made, we feel that at the very worst, this review should be a 3 or 4-star, not a 1-star. Take care.

rations and would like to address each point individually for you. As a company procedure, our DJs schedule the prep call 3 days prior to the event. In our experience, we find this effective in accommodating any last minute changes in the music or timeline. With that said, we absolutely want all of our clients to feel stress-free throughout the entire process, especially the week leading up to the wedding! So our clients are always welcome to reach out and schedule an early prep call as long as we can collect all finalized planning papers beforehand. We train each DJ to introduce themselves to our clients and the surrounding staff so we’re very sorry to hear that we did not follow through with this at your wedding. We’ve found over the years that our clients tend to prefer us to remain more in the background when we’re not on the microphone but we completely agree that a proper introduction and handshake go a long way. We can assure you that this will be addressed moving forward. Every DJ on our team has a genuine care for each client that hires us and it’s important that we convey that to you. We recognize that there are many DJ companies to choose from and are grateful for each client who chooses to work with us. Regarding your husband’s walk down song, our DJ sent us the playlist for your ceremony and the song she played did in fact match the song listed in the planning form. Regarding your first dance, our DJ informed us that you asked to fade the song out at 1:50, which she did. If there’s something that we’re missing, feel free to send us an email letting us know what specifically went wrong from your perspective. We take these formalities very seriously and want to assure that each song selection and mix is executed to perfection. As far as the dancing transitions are concerned, it sounds like there were a number of song requests made by you and the wedding party for songs that were not listed in your original playlist. We are always more than happy to accommodate these requests! However, if the requested song is a bit more niche and hasn’t been previously downloaded, we do have to rely on third party apps like Spotify or Apple Music to play them for you. Again, we’re very sorry that you experienced these frustrations and sincerely hope this response helps clear the air. With all that said, it was such a pleasure getting to work with you & Matt.
