d our photos. He met with us when deciding on a photographer early in our planning process, then again a month before our wedding, then two weeks before our wedding too! He came to our rehearsal to see the space and finalize plans, and was so professional and kind. His photos are beautiful and capture everything we wanted to see out of our special day. Leading up to the wedding Matt was very helpful and constantly communicating with us about the timeline of the day, ideas and he and we had, making sure we had a list of what shots we wanted as well as asking questions about things we hadn't thought of yet. I was nervous since our wedding was in March and we would only be taking pictures at our church and reception but he went to both venues to pick out places he thought would be nice. The day of the wedding, Matt was amazing. To be honest it was almost like he read our minds since whenever we wanted a picture of something we wold turn around and he would be there. His demeanor the entire day was that of relaxed, calm but in total control of everything going on. My husband isn't the most comfortable with being the center of attention and would get anxious after taking too many pictures but then Matt would bring up something he remembered talking to us about at our engagement pictures and almost "distract" him. He was effortless, very reasonably priced, provides amazing photos and I can't say enough great things.

e responded quickly. If you want something above and beyond the standard wedding photos, trust him to do his thing; he knows what he is doing. Matt did both our engagement and wedding photos, and I would highly recommend him for any couple.

ok the time to get to know us and our priorities, and on the day of the wedding he was courteous, efficient, and unobtrusive. We were able to see the finished product even sooner than anticipated, and we could not be happier with the results. We feel he truly captured the meaning of the day. The photos are absolutely stunning. Matt is a very skilled photographer, and a pleasure to work with. His rates are also an excellent value. We cannot recommend him more highly.

Because we weren’t located in the Wisconsin area, he suggested that we Skype to see if we were a good fit. We picked up right away that we weren’t just “another job” to him. He wanted to know who we were as people, our story, and what we envisioned for our wedding. He was also very willing to offer advice and suggestions since we had never been through this before. In addition, he gave us the option of compiling examples of wedding photos that we liked on a Pinterest board, so that he could have a better idea of our tastes. Throughout the whole process he was happy to answer any questions and address any concerns we had (such as dealing with some family dynamics related to divorces, etc. during group photos). Value: Matt had extremely competitive rates that were several hundred dollars less than comparable packages, but at the same time, we could not have imagined having a better photographer if we’d gone with anyone else. He offered us a number of options and was very focused on what we wanted and would enjoy rather than trying to upsell us. Photography: The photos of our wedding day are outstanding. They were professional, very beautiful and absolutely captured the moments and emotions we felt throughout our wedding day. He guided us through the poses and backdrops he had in mind, but also encouraged us to be goofy and ourselves. The shoot was not regimented, strict, or stressful at all, but instead was very flexible and fun. With regards to group and family photos, he was very prepared, and had a list of every group and combination of people we wanted beforehand, so we were sure not to miss any. Finally, he captured so many great photos during our ceremony and reception as well, but simultaneously remained inconspicuous while taking them. To sum up, our wedding photos were a stunning combination of beauty and candid moments that will let us remember the day perfectly forever. Personality: We hit it off with Matt right away. He’s funny and has a very warm personality that immediately made us comfortable. He’s also very versatile in that he’ll nicely suggest poses for you or let you run wild with goofy and, possibly in our case, weird (next level) shots. He’s also very dedicated to his craft. He arrived well ahead of his scheduled session to scope out our venue and pick out the best places to shoot from. Finally, he’s very organized as well. For instance, we got mixed up on our wedding timeline during the photos, but Matt knew off the top of his head what time and where we had to be next. We can’t express enough what a great guy Matt is. In summary, having Matt as a photographer was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding day. As we tell others about our wedding day, we invariably talk about how grateful we were to have such an outstanding photographer.

as. He took the time to get to know us, and really get an idea of who we are. During the wedding, he was consistently working: checking on what the groom was doing, taking creative shots of accessories and other items, looking into the areas around the hotel that might work for portraits. He moved quickly through the posed shots - something we had specifically requested, and did an excellent job getting shots of all of our guests, smiling and laughing. He used the location to its fullest potential, taking advantage of lighting and other architectural elements. Our full set of photos arrived within the timeframe he had promised in a lovely box, with some additional prints he had made for us and a handwritten thank you note. He did a fantastic job, and I would definitely recommend him!

the wedding and then EXCEEDED our expectations on the day of. He did such an amazing job prior to the wedding that Matt knew both my wife and myself well and it has shown in the pictures and the capturing of our relationship.
