Growing up listening to the likes of John Denver, brothers and founding members Chad and Bret Bourquin have always been around country music. Their father, an inventor, taught them to respect creativity and follow their passion. They honed their skills in performances at church, various acoustic sets, and a musical endeavor called LipRiddle. It was their brotherly connection, however, that let them know they were onto a winner with Big Time Grain Co. Playing and writing together came as naturally as breathing. They have since gone on to open for acts like Big and Rich and Wynonna Judd. Big Time Grain Co. understands the importance of their role in your wedding day. To provide the most professional experience possible, they work alongside a production crew and use high-quality sound systems. Bret and Chad’s talents still suit smaller celebrations, however, as they can provide more low-key performances. An elegant jazz trio can accompany ceremonies. This band’s instruments include a banjo, bass, guitar, and mandolin, as well as a vocalist. Their preferred genres are country, folk, and rock. Bret and Chad are happy to act as MCs for your reception, interacting with your guests and directing events.
