e of setup, his team was clueless as to what the layout was supposed to be and Ray left without informing them and/or leaving them a contract for them to know what they were providing. One of his workers even vented his frustration that their supervisor left them without any direction, contracts or general information. The tent was absolutely filthy and embarrassing with mud all along the sides and ceiling, and I regret to say that this will be the background of all our wedding reception photos. In addition, we didn’t receive our pole covers or lighting, which we had paid for. It wasn’t until we expressed our anger to one of his employees on Friday that we were promised these items the following morning, meaning that we had to perform our rehearsal, unexpectedly in the dark after we were told that all setup would occur Friday morning. We set up our own tables and chairs and the dance floor had chips all throughout each plank. The tables were wobbly and in poor condition, and the table covers were completely inadequate. We had to make a last-minute run for replacement covers. Our venue coordinator communicated with us that the services we received were “the worst tent services she had ever witnessed on the property.” Lastly and most disturbingly, we were not given the heat that we were promised and paid for. Ray guaranteed that the heat we purchased would last us throughout the night, and even convinced that he was bringing an extra heater as a “wedding gift," although he was well aware that our heat was completely out after just around thirty minutes of reception time. Several of our guests left around 7pm because of the freezing conditions and they could no longer withstand the 40 degree temperatures. This is a rite of passage and a lifelong memory that we will never be able to get back with our guests. Despite our several phone calls and voicemails that night, we have still never been answered with regard to our plea and demand for an explanation of services we didn’t receive. Again, our heater went out after approximately 30 minutes of use for the reception, our guests were freezing and left our wedding because they needed to escape the temperatures inside the tent, and we have yet to receive a reply from any of our attempts to contact someone at his business. Do NOT rely on them for something as special as a wedding. Perhaps they would be better suited for something as casual as a tailgate party. Very unprofessional. Poor quality. Highly disappointed.

ed the same products at half the cost. They set-up a few days early which was amazing and tore down when they said that they would. The chairs and tables were older and a lot of the chairs were rusty or dirty. We put the nicer ones out by the wedding ceremony location and the not so nice ones under the reception tent because they were going to be covered with chair covers. You get what you pay for but in this case I did not want to pay the competitors pricing so I was quite happy to get a deal and deal with the rest! Thank you Big Top Tent!!

seem to have much support on the administrative side so he could be somewhat unorganized sometimes. All in all, for the major savings (on a large tent vs. Reliable Rentals and other places) Big Top was completely worth it to me. They ended up forgetting some lighting and a few things like that, but they got it all fixed before my wedding. All was fixed on Friday (the day before).
