Hello and congratulations on your engagement!
My name is Bill Hoffman and I am a multi-year winner of the Knot "Best Of" award and a member of the Knot's "Hall of Fame."
Many years ago my wife Alicia and I were much like you. Excited to be engaged and planning our ceremony, yet still figuring out what our options were as far as hiring an officiant. Perhaps like you we came from different spiritual paths in life and getting married in a church in the traditional sense just was not for us.
Luckily we were blessed to have found an amazing Wedding Officiant who was willing to come and perform the ceremony on the shores of a beautiful lake. The ceremony was open to anything we wanted and having the freedom to express our love and share our day the way we wanted made it that much more special.
Since becoming Ordained myself I have been able to help couples in building their dream ceremonies on their own accord while fine tuning them to their exact wishes. Being flexible shows the couple that it is truly all about them on this glorious occasion.
I am here to perform your ceremony in anyway you want. This is your day!

One huge takeaway from Bill that was amazing, besides how awesome he was, he took away all the stress pertaining to our marriage certificate, name change, new social security card etc. We cannot thank him enough for that! He sent us a very detailed outline of everything we had to do for the items listed above, which helped me tremendously with the name change process. Without his detailed step-by-step guide, I would have been so lost.

We walked away from both already laughing.
