Billet Doux Bridal

I didn’t build Billet Doux Bridal around dresses. I built it around people: how they feel walking into a room, how they talk about themselves when they think no one’s really listening, and what happens when someone finally does. Wedding styling, to me, has never really been about fashion. It’s about the moment someone looks in the mirror and actually likes what they see. Every appointment is built around you, not a script. No pressure, no rushing, no performative enthusiasm for a dress that’s clearly not it. Just honest conversation, real attention, and styling rooted in who you actually are, not who you think you’re supposed to be on your wedding day. After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Technology, and years of working in Manhattan’s relentless pace, I knew it was time to leave the city behind. I eventually found my way to the Hudson Valley: somewhere slower, warmer, and more human. This new environment changed how I think about everything, including my work. Empathy first, no fluff, no rushing. I’m a January Aquarius and an Enneagram 2w1 (which honestly explains everything). I’m warm but direct, intuitive but grounded, and genuinely invested in making sure you leave Billet Doux feeling more like yourself- not less. I’m inspired by travel, beauty with actual character to it, and the kind of moments that feel small but stay with you. Outside the boutique, life looks like family and motherhood, my dog Dottie, Great British Bake-Off marathons, cozy rituals, and finding softness in ordinary days. Billet Doux is a space where you’re allowed to slow down, to not know what you want yet, to feel a little emotional about it, to just be somewhere that’s genuinely rooting for you. My favorite part of this work has never been the dresses alone. It’s the moment someone’s posture changes, when they stop apologizing for taking up space and just stand there- confident, radiant, and completely themselves. That’s what I’m building toward, every single appointment.

I came to wedding styling after 15 years (and still going!) as a wedding photographer, which means I've spent well over a decade being present for people on some of the most meaningful days of their lives. That work has changed how I see everything, including what it really means to help someone prepare for their wedding day. It's never only about the dress; it's about feeling genuinely seen and supported. That's what I'm here for. At Billet Doux, I bring the same energy I've always brought to my photography: real attention, true kindness, and honest affirmation. I'm an enneagram 2, a Cancer, and hardwired to root for people - which makes my time at Billet Doux feel less like a job and more like a calling. I believe your wedding day should look and feel exactly like you, and I'm excited to help you find a style that brings that feeling to life.

With a background in retail, client experience, and event styling, I’ve always loved the wedding industry and creating experiences that feel personal and memorable. I’m also the owner of The Vendy Bar, a custom sticker vending machine business for weddings and events, which started as a creative outlet and a way to bring more interactive, detail-driven experiences into celebrations. Outside of work, you can usually find me trying a new coffee spot, watching Bravo, or spending time with my husband and three cats. As a Billet Doux stylist I look forward to helping brides feel celebrated and cared for while making the process effortless and fun!
