On the wedding day, they performed flawlessly, coordinating music for the the ceremony, playing during the cocktail hour, and creating the party during the reception. They were a huge hit, brilliantly reading the crowd, while doing their best to work with the feedback we gave them on our (and our guests') taste. They even learned a special song for us that went off extremely well. The groom is a musician and he picked them due to their talent he saw in their videos, and the experience they've accumulated from playing weddings and other events over the years. What we saw what what we got, and it was basically perfect. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great band.

d you can tell they love what they do. While guests were entering the reception, we asked them to play "Summer Wind" by Frank Sinatra. I immediately got at least 3 texts, one of which summed it up perfectly - "Oh my god, this band!". Needless to say, I was jealous I wasn't out there yet! We also asked them to play a song beloved by the bride's late Uncle, which they did with no problem. They know the classics, pop songs, even a few chainsmokers songs, they do it all. During the planning process, they were responsive and easy to work with. We worked with them on a "do not play" list, giving them an idea of the vibes we were going for. The band took it from there, and man did they nail it. Lastly, other (probably far inferior) bands we looked at cost twice as much as them. In short, Bill's Toupee is the band you want. Your search is over.

about the band, and we had a pretty eclectic group of people at our wedding. The amount of soreness in my legs and back from dancing and hoarseness of voice from all the yelling and cheering is a testament to their ability to rock the crowd for hours on end. When my wife asked me if we should add another half hour, I couldn’t say yes faster. From a musicians point of view, they were tight and really seemed to enjoy playing with each other. I can’t say enough things about every member of Bill’s Toupee and would recommend them a million times. If you guys are seeing this, thank you for helping make our wedding the best night of our lives! As the bride adding a quick note - Mike and the band were so easy to work with!! Didn’t pressure sell me with date scarcity and were always super pleasant and quick to respond but also very low key and didn’t need to be micromanaged lol. One of my favorite vendors to work with and when meeting them it all made sense!!! They also took requests patiently and were so so nice even as they were packing the up and winding down the night even after adding the extra time on a whim (it was a no brainer!)

We had them play for the ceremony - 1 musician, cocktail hour - 1 musician and the reception - 6 musicians. This band is composed of multi talented artists. Many of them can sing lead and play many instruments. They also had some crowd interaction which everyone loved. I'll admit that some of the songs they played I was not expecting, but at the end it was okay because they knew it would keep the guests dancing and it certainly did. We had a great experience with Mike who made sure the night went smoothly. Every party needs Bills Toupee!

We decided to book Bill's Toupee directly after watching their videos and reading through their 5 star reviews, and we honestly couldn't be happier with our decision. Michael was a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process - he answered my emails (there were A LOT of them) quickly and thoughtfully. Our ceremony and cocktail hour live music was beautiful and the reception music was UNBELIEVABLE. Our family and friends are still raving about the band and our wedding was almost a month ago. They played to the crowd masterfully and had everyone constantly on the dance floor having the time of their lives. We had also requested a few salsa songs and I was able to signal to the band when I wanted those played. Everything was just so seamless and wonderful. e wedding. I had (and still have) countless people tell me how this was one of the best wedding concerts they have ever been to. Not only were they great performers, they were also very easy to work with (and reasonably priced). They tailored their music and playing style to exactly what we were looking for. A true hidden gem – do not overlook this band!!

e band play live before our wedding day, but we were amazed when we heard them for the first time! Communication beforehand was so easy and Mike made me comfortable that the band had everything under control - and they definitely did! Our guests were dancing the entire time and we have received countless complements on how amazing the band was. They even let my 5 year old niece join them on stage to sing a song, which gave everyone a good laugh and made her day! e because shows were canceled but let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away the first time I heard them play (on my wedding day!!) the music was incredible, they really know how to work a crowed. All of our guests kept commenting on their performance. Only thing I wish differently was that I had more time to sit down and actually watch and listen to them. We all really enjoyed ourselves! Aside from their performance, the members were so personable and kind throughout the night. They got their own action photos as well and shared them all with me which I thought was so great! Would not change a single thing and would recommend them to everyone I know!

lovely outdoor weather that gets just a little too hot at times. Although our wedding was intimate and maxed out at 12 people, the band got us up on our feet, keeping the celebrations lively (which we were pretty worried about being the whole two families coming together as one during a pandemic). They read our vibe well, and our family-guests are still raving about them a week later! Highly recommend Bill's Toupee for your events (pre, during and post this wild-ride pandemic) as they will keep you smiling and grooving from start to end! Thank you for being willing to work with us during this tough time, and putting on a spectacular show for our small party! --- 2021: There is not enough space here to tell you how much we LOVE Bill’s Toupee and all their members. We have worked with them twice for our wedding(s) and both times we could not stop moving! From the start, Michael Andrews will be your go to person and you will feel like you have gained a friend after speaking with him. He is so patient and sweet; gives options but does not push anything! Days before the wedding we were trying to decide what we wanted for announcements and he let us talk it out while on the phone. Ha, we even changed a few things the day of and Johnny rolled along with us! Nothing was a problem. Mike and Johnny really helped the day run smoothly. From chatting beforehand, practicing everyone’s names and then ensuring the music was just what we wanted -- we feel truly blessed to have worked with them. Then the music, ah *chef’s kiss* was phenomenal! Most of them sing, which gives plenty of different sounds, but I must shout out Delecia (lead vocalist) as she has the voice of an angel! She even danced with friends and family (haha our nephew loved dancing with her!) as she was singing! What a rockstar! Now she is not the only one who brings the party, as they all do so in their own ways! Ricky was sure to take some of his own photos (which is so nice to have another viewpoint → top of the dance floor… yes please!) and play an energizing bass solo that keeps everyone on their feet! And all of the music wouldn’t have been as catchy had Bobby and Lucas not kept an awesome beat! I really cannot imagine the day without each person, as they all brought their best selves and musical talents to the day! Our family and friends (young and old-ish) were on the floor nonstop. What more could you ask for? If you have not booked Bill’s Toupee yet DO IT! You will not regret it. Hoping to visit one of their local shows when we are back in the area!

, they are the best. Mike M. ( Keyboard and manager) was a pleasure to speak with when discussing the wedding, the music and any request. He can tickle the ivory! Bob (the drummer) what a kick ass drummer. WOW! Mike A. (Guitarist) played during my cocktail reception and rocked the house during the reception. John (vocals) MC'd and also was on the floor singing with my guest and singing with Delecia (vocals) who's vocal range was mind blowing. A guest came up to me and said "I though it was a recording till I realized she was live!" Ricky (bassets/ vocals) What an amazing basset/singer ! He, Delecia and John were interacting with guest, me and on the floor with us! They kept the party with high energy, fun, dancing and amazing music! I had a blast with them. You should see them live. Thank goodness I can see them when ever they play at local events! So, my party time with them wont just stop at my wedding! Follow them on Facebook! Ricky, the basset also captured some of my wedding on photo and video! Which meant the world to me he shared them on their page. Since I have not seen any photos from my wedding these were some of the first, and the first videos I saw. It made my day! I love this band! From cocktail hour to last dance it was top notch and best band a Bride and Groom can ask for! I look forward in seeing them again at local events!

sidering we were not going to have any interactive activities for our guests (ie photobooth etc) we wanted a live band to engage our guests. We came across Bill’s Toupee- watched a few videos online and on Facebook. We gave them a call and that was it! We would book them a million times over again. They are extremely talented and know just how to get your guests on the dance floor. Our guests had SUCH great things to say. Having a live band just adds something extra special to a wedding reception. The only downside(if it can even be called that) would be communication, but given they are a busy band and our wedding was during a very busy time it’s understandable. If you are a couple debating between a DJ or a live band.. Bills Toupee!! Completely worth every penny.

We were a little anxious going into the wedding since most of the communication was done through e-mail and we wanted to make sure our plan was clearly understood. But we were blown away at how well the band was able to take the day and run with it. All of our special requests were on point, and we did not have to worry at all about controlling the music. They know exactly what type of music to play and when to play it. They clearly have a ton of experience reading the crowd and when it was time to dance, they played all the right music and were feeding off the energy of all our guests having a great time! Several of our guests were sure to get the name of the band as it truly was a phenomenal show that we all will never forget! If you go with Bill's Toupee you can feel great about relaxing on the big day and letting the band do the rest. Also.. a special shout out to the lead singers Delecia and John who really brought our night to another level when joining us all on the dance floor while continuing to sing/play! All the members of the band are extremely talented and the music was phenomenal!

my aunt’s wedding! They sounded great and got our guests pumped all night long; I’ve never been to a wedding where people were dancing before dinner was served! We had a special request for our first dance song - Budapest by George Ezra - and they delivered! It was beautifully performed and afterwards we got a ton of compliments. It was also great they travelled from the Hudson Valley up to our venue in Albany. I would pick this band again and again! They might have a silly name, but they are the best wedding band around!!
