Bill’s Toupee was so fantastic! They were a ton of fun and kept people dancing all night. They were extremely professional, friendly, and were able to accommodate any of our requests. People have been coming up to me to tell me how much fun they were. I am so glad that we asked them to play at our wedding- it was perfect.

We are so happy we went with Bill's Toupee for our wedding. They were incredible from the acoustic guitar in our ceremony to rocking the house in our reception. They had everyone dancing and singing! We had so much fun. Incredibly professional and kind, they took into account all the details we requested and made it all happen. Thank you for making our day so special! Highly recommend.

Our wedding band choice was very important to me because I knew it would be the heartbeat of the night and every bride wants their guests to be dancing all night. I vetted Bills Toupee months in advance by watching one of their shows (they play all over the Hudson Valley) and I knew they would be a great addition to our wedding. We had them play for the ceremony - 1 musician, cocktail hour - 1 musician and the reception - 6 musicians. This band is composed of multi talented artists. Many of them can sing lead and play many instruments. They also had some crowd interaction which everyone loved. I'll admit that some of the songs they played I was not expecting, but at the end it was okay because they knew it would keep the guests dancing and it certainly did. We had a great experience with Mike who made sure the night went smoothly. Every party needs Bills Toupee!

We hired Bill's Toupee for our wedding on June 10th, and we could not have been happier. The level of musicianship and professionalism was top notch, and they played everything we requested from their set list. The timing and execution of everything was right on the money, and they were polished the whole way through. When my husband and I first started searching for a wedding band, we came across many bands that were represented by a company or a talent cooperative; these bands were out of our budget and we weren't sure what the value-add would be to this arrangement. We decided to book Bill's Toupee directly after watching their videos and reading through their 5 star reviews, and we honestly couldn't be happier with our decision. Michael was a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process - he answered my emails (there were A LOT of them) quickly and thoughtfully. Our ceremony and cocktail hour live music was beautiful and the reception music was UNBELIEVABLE. Our family and friends are still raving about the band and our wedding was almost a month ago. They played to the crowd masterfully and had everyone constantly on the dance floor having the time of their lives. We had also requested a few salsa songs and I was able to signal to the band when I wanted those played. Everything was just so seamless and wonderful. Hiring Bill's Toupee was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we are so grateful to each of the band members for contributing so much to our special day!

Without a doubt, the best decision I made was hiring this incredible band to play at my wedding reception on 11/13/21. They were absolutely AMAZING!!!! From cocktail hour to playing their last hit, the Bill's Toupee Band brought amazing energy the entire night and had all our guests up and dancing. They were fun, engaging and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our guests can't stop raving about their spectacular performance! We had Bill’s Toupee perform for our wedding and they were AWESOME! I couldn’t speak more highly of this band. They were extremely fun, engaging, and had everyone dancing the entire wedding. I had (and still have) countless people tell me how this was one of the best wedding concerts they have ever been to. Not only were they great performers, they were also very easy to work with (and reasonably priced). They tailored their music and playing style to exactly what we were looking for. A true hidden gem – do not overlook this band!!

We hired Bill's Toupee for our wedding and it was the best decision we could have made!! We could not have asked for a better wedding band. Due to Covid we were not able to hear the band play live before our wedding day, but we were amazed when we heard them for the first time! Communication beforehand was so easy and Mike made me comfortable that the band had everything under control - and they definitely did! Our guests were dancing the entire time and we have received countless complements on how amazing the band was. They even let my 5 year old niece join them on stage to sing a song, which gave everyone a good laugh and made her day! We had an absolute blast thanks to Bill's Toupee and look forward to making it to a show to see them again soon!

This band is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Seriously, stop what you’re doing and look no further if you are looking for a wedding band (or just a band for any reason, really) - they are PHENOMENAL!!!! Every single member so is incredibly talented. The sound is outstanding - we got so many compliments about how awesome the band was. Many of our guests said they felt like they were at a live concert!!!! The band members were so engaging and fun with the crowd- even coming out and dancing with the guests. It really got the crowd going and was an absolute hit!!!! Best wedding band ever!!!

There is a reason this band was voted #1 in the Hudson valley. They were absolutely incredible!! I booked bill’s Toupee at the start of covid and I was unable to hear them play live because shows were canceled but let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away the first time I heard them play (on my wedding day!!) the music was incredible, they really know how to work a crowed. All of our guests kept commenting on their performance. Only thing I wish differently was that I had more time to sit down and actually watch and listen to them. We all really enjoyed ourselves! Aside from their performance, the members were so personable and kind throughout the night. They got their own action photos as well and shared them all with me which I thought was so great! Would not change a single thing and would recommend them to everyone I know!

We hired Bill’s Toupee Band in 2019 for our June 2020 wedding that was postponed until July 2021 and they did not disappoint. They were great with rescheduling and communicating the entire time. It was a pleasure having them at our wedding. The band was AMAZING from the solo guitar to the band rocking it out. We knew we wanted a band from the start and once we found them we knew it was right. They were so nice, genuine, and it felt like we knew them for years. Everyone at the wedding loved them, were still getting compliments to this day. I highly recommend them and look forward to watching them perform at other events. It was two years in the making but so worth the wait!

Look no further! Bill's Toupee band will make your big day extra special. They were the hot topic amongst all the guests for our wedding at our distillery, Cooper's Daughter Spirits. I can't recommend them enough!

This band is PHENOMENAL! They were able to get two very opposite families out of their chairs and keep them on their feet all night, even during COVID. Excellent customer service, even better music. I think the band got more compliments than I did 😉 Don't hesitate on choosing them.

With the virus sure enough to change around our plans multiple times, the band worked with us through it all! They were flexible with our change of venue, space available and the lovely outdoor weather that gets just a little too hot at times. Although our wedding was intimate and maxed out at 12 people, the band got us up on our feet, keeping the celebrations lively (which we were pretty worried about being the whole two families coming together as one during a pandemic). They read our vibe well, and our family-guests are still raving about them a week later! Highly recommend Bill's Toupee for your events (pre, during and post this wild-ride pandemic) as they will keep you smiling and grooving from start to end! Thank you for being willing to work with us during this tough time, and putting on a spectacular show for our small party! --- 2021: There is not enough space here to tell you how much we LOVE Bill’s Toupee and all their members. We have worked with them twice for our wedding(s) and both times we could not stop moving! From the start, Michael Andrews will be your go to person and you will feel like you have gained a friend after speaking with him. He is so patient and sweet; gives options but does not push anything! Days before the wedding we were trying to decide what we wanted for announcements and he let us talk it out while on the phone. Ha, we even changed a few things the day of and Johnny rolled along with us! Nothing was a problem. Mike and Johnny really helped the day run smoothly. From chatting beforehand, practicing everyone’s names and then ensuring the music was just what we wanted -- we feel truly blessed to have worked with them. Then the music, ah *chef’s kiss* was phenomenal! Most of them sing, which gives plenty of different sounds, but I must shout out Delecia (lead vocalist) as she has the voice of an angel! She even danced with friends and family (haha our nephew loved dancing with her!) as she was singing! What a rockstar! Now she is not the only one who brings the party, as they all do so in their own ways! Ricky was sure to take some of his own photos (which is so nice to have another viewpoint → top of the dance floor… yes please!) and play an energizing bass solo that keeps everyone on their feet! And all of the music wouldn’t have been as catchy had Bobby and Lucas not kept an awesome beat! I really cannot imagine the day without each person, as they all brought their best selves and musical talents to the day! Our family and friends (young and old-ish) were on the floor nonstop. What more could you ask for? If you have not booked Bill’s Toupee yet DO IT! You will not regret it. Hoping to visit one of their local shows when we are back in the area!

Bill’s Toupee made our wedding a fabulous party! Our wedding was almost a month ago and I’m still getting comments from guests about how wonderful the band was. They were lively and great performers and easy to work with.

This band will not disappoint, they are a diamond in the rough as far as wedding bands go. Absolute pros. They are excellent musicians, made great song selections and also super easy to work with during planning. The energy and fun they bring to the room is absolutely electric. It's been a month since our wedding and we are still getting messages from family and friends about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Mike, the keyboard player and manager of the band, was super easy to work with right from the beginning. He's done this hundreds, if not thousands of times and his advice to us was not only helpful in the planning process but absolutely true on the day of our wedding! The whole band played so well together, giving the whole night an amazing energy and vibe. They played a great mix of songs that got every single table up and dancing. Truthfully, the music and dancing were so fun, that we barely sat down to have dinner and we missed dessert entirely! Bill's Toupee is that rare mix of professionalism and talent. They were flexible, willing to listen to all of our requests ahead of time, and they even learned one of my favorite songs, "How Long Will I Love You" for the processional. It was a very special moment, made possible by their enthusiasm and talent. You will be in the best of hands, and will have one less thing to worry about. Before our wedding we went to see Bill's Toupee perform at a local restaurant in the Hudson Valley, and the second they started playing, the dance floor filled up and everyone started dancing. We searched long and hard for our wedding band and Bills Toupee exceeded every expectation we had! Our guests were dancing the whole night - even those who never dance busted some moves! We couldn’t have imagined our wedding being as amazing as it was without Bills Toupee!

Bill’s Toupee is the best! I learned about this band through a friend of mine who used them for her wedding. The weekend I got engaged, I called them and booked the band before we even booked our venue! Mike was a pleasure to work with all the way up to our wedding. And on our actual wedding day, the band rocked it! We were dancing all night long and everyone had the greatest time! If you are like my husband and I and appreciate live music and talented musicians, than Bill’s Toupee is the way to go!! Best band ever!

What can I say about Bill's Toupee! I was referred to them from a co worker and let me say can they keep a party going.I love, love , love them! From booking, planning to the party, they are the best. Mike M. ( Keyboard and manager) was a pleasure to speak with when discussing the wedding, the music and any request. He can tickle the ivory! Bob (the drummer) what a kick ass drummer. WOW! Mike A. (Guitarist) played during my cocktail reception and rocked the house during the reception. John (vocals) MC'd and also was on the floor singing with my guest and singing with Delecia (vocals) who's vocal range was mind blowing. A guest came up to me and said "I though it was a recording till I realized she was live!" Ricky (bassets/ vocals) What an amazing basset/singer ! He, Delecia and John were interacting with guest, me and on the floor with us! They kept the party with high energy, fun, dancing and amazing music! I had a blast with them. You should see them live. Thank goodness I can see them when ever they play at local events! So, my party time with them wont just stop at my wedding! Follow them on Facebook! Ricky, the basset also captured some of my wedding on photo and video! Which meant the world to me he shared them on their page. Since I have not seen any photos from my wedding these were some of the first, and the first videos I saw. It made my day! I love this band! From cocktail hour to last dance it was top notch and best band a Bride and Groom can ask for! I look forward in seeing them again at local events!

Planning a wedding in a different state not knowing anyone is very difficult especially when it comes to choosing music. On a tight budget we were leaning more towards a DJ but considering we were not going to have any interactive activities for our guests (ie photobooth etc) we wanted a live band to engage our guests. We came across Bill’s Toupee- watched a few videos online and on Facebook. We gave them a call and that was it! We would book them a million times over again. They are extremely talented and know just how to get your guests on the dance floor. Our guests had SUCH great things to say. Having a live band just adds something extra special to a wedding reception. The only downside(if it can even be called that) would be communication, but given they are a busy band and our wedding was during a very busy time it’s understandable. If you are a couple debating between a DJ or a live band.. Bills Toupee!! Completely worth every penny.

Our wedding would not have been so memorable without Bill's Toupee! Mike was extremely flexible in terms of what we were looking for leading up to the big day. We had some special requests in which he and the band were able to easily accommodate. We were a little anxious going into the wedding since most of the communication was done through e-mail and we wanted to make sure our plan was clearly understood. But we were blown away at how well the band was able to take the day and run with it. All of our special requests were on point, and we did not have to worry at all about controlling the music. They know exactly what type of music to play and when to play it. They clearly have a ton of experience reading the crowd and when it was time to dance, they played all the right music and were feeding off the energy of all our guests having a great time! Several of our guests were sure to get the name of the band as it truly was a phenomenal show that we all will never forget! If you go with Bill's Toupee you can feel great about relaxing on the big day and letting the band do the rest. Also.. a special shout out to the lead singers Delecia and John who really brought our night to another level when joining us all on the dance floor while continuing to sing/play! All the members of the band are extremely talented and the music was phenomenal!

We are a family of musicians and are Uber-critical when it comes to music. In fact, there have been very few wedding bands I’ve heard over the years that I even find tolerable lol! That being said, Bill’s Toupee exceeded our every expectation!!! Every guest and family member raved about their talent. They made it look easy. We are soooo happy we put our trust in them. Perfection!

From the minute our guests walked in to our reception Bill's Toupee had them moving. The band rocked the house all night and the dance floor was always packed; even my husband and I never left the dance floor! Mike and the band are experts at reading the room and played the perfect mix of songs to keep everyone happy and all without any cheesiness. It is now months later and we are STILL getting rave reviews about fun our wedding was and how incredible the band is. If we could give Bill's Toupee more than 5 stars we would!

Bill's Toupee played our wedding on 6/16/18. I couldn't have asked for a better band. Their sound is amazing and have a great set list. Our guests were up on the dance floor all night and I've gotten tons of compliments from our guests for the band. Beyond their awesome music, Mike was a pleasure to work with. He is a complete professional and was willing to do whatever it took to make our day great. We had some complicated sound system needs and he was happy to help us. Can't recommend these guys enough!

So...where do I start! I used Bill’s Toupee for the wedding of my first daughter in 2011 and when our second daughter got engaged...we called Mike and the band again in June, 2018. They are great, reasonable in price, professional and they keep that dance floor packed! They are inviting, they go with the flow and know their audience. Old and young danced all night long! They cover original songs perfectly! In closing, my daughter and her fiancé worked hard to plan their wedding...I thank Bill’s Toupee for being the glue that brought the entire evening together! We are so happy we selected Bill’s Toupee as our wedding band. I knew I wanted a band as I think they are classier and more personalized than a DJ. They even performed years ago at my aunt’s wedding! They sounded great and got our guests pumped all night long; I’ve never been to a wedding where people were dancing before dinner was served! We had a special request for our first dance song - Budapest by George Ezra - and they delivered! It was beautifully performed and afterwards we got a ton of compliments. It was also great they travelled from the Hudson Valley up to our venue in Albany. I would pick this band again and again! They might have a silly name, but they are the best wedding band around!!

Bill's Toupee was phenomenal. Everyone was dancing from start to finish, and our guests are still commenting on how great the music was. They even let our idiot Hobo friend lead a few songs on his banjo. We could not be happier, and 100% recommend them.

We first found Bill’s Toupee when looking at photographers’ pictures of other weddings at our venue. We preferred a band for multiple reasons, and it was good to know that they had already used our venue. They looked fun and the guests looked like they were having a great time. I looked up their reviews and was amazed to see how many people loved them. We assumed that they would be very expansive but decided to call anyway. We were surprised that they were relatively affordable. Mike was awesome and so helpful and he didn’t mind our multiple questions. We felt so comfortable with him that he was the first vendor we officially booked (yes, even before the venue). They were great throughout our engagement, getting in touch with us to finalize things as it got closer to our wedding. On the day of they were INCREDIBLE. The dance floor was packed the whole time (in fact, the wait staff had trouble getting food to the tables because there were so many people dancing). They were really great with reading the crowd and playing all different types of music. For the special songs we wanted for cake cutting and first dance, they downloaded and played an mp3 so that we could have the exact song. They let my sister-in-law sing a song with them and even let my husband and his friends play a song on their instruments. A few days after the wedding they even emailed us a wonderful picture they had secretly taken of all of us from above as we were putting the boutonnieres on the groomsmen and fathers. It was super awesome because it was such a special moment that not even the photographers had gotten. Two weeks after the wedding I realized that I loved the songs they had played so much that I wanted to make a wedding mix tape. I emailed them and they were so nice about it, they all brainstormed and gave me the list as best as they could remember. It was so sweet and something they didn’t have to do. Thanks to them we had the most fun night of our life!! We are still hearing compliments and requests for their information.

Bill's Toupee was incredible! First, they were easy to get in touch with and very quick about returning phone calls. They were easy to discuss plans with and very accommodating when it came to coordinating our schedules. For the day of, they were able to provide us with a sound system for the ceremony and Mike played live music for the ceremony and didn't miss a beat - even when it took the grandparents forever to walk down the aisle! His live music was as good as recorded music and his ceremony selection was perfect. For the reception, there are not enough words to describe how incredible they were! They catered to every age group at the wedding, included all the classic wedding dance songs (and knew which few not to include!) and their take on every song was so unique and fun! They had our guests dancing BEFORE dinner was served! Best of all, they learned our first dance song, regardless of what it was! They even surprised us by learning a second song that was one of our favorites and played it at the end of the night! The entire band was fun, personable, enthusiastic and we even saw Desiree helping girls repair dress items throughout the night! An absolute choice for anyone getting married in the NY area!!

We used Bill's Toupee for our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing. They had everybody dancing the entire night. I felt bad for the wait staff at the venue because people could not stop dancing for them to take the food orders! They play all of the wedding classics plus some new music, we were all very impressed by their music! They even learned our wedding song for us, and played it beautifully!

We had heard Bill's Toupee a few years ago at a wedding and loved them. they didn't let us down. Mike worked with our daughter on the music side of the night and he and the band were very flexible in meeting the many needs of the wedding reception. Their music is fantastic and they had our 200 guests on the dance floor until the end of the night.

would 100% recommend BT - seamless planning, reliable and responsive; day-of we were SO pleased with the music selections that were chosen to fit the "feel" of the wedding...which was on the small side and less of a dance party, but it didn't matter. guests RAVED about them, and we were so happy to have had live music for our wedding. BT honored our personal song selections, double- and triple-checked info for announcing the wedding party - it really worked out perfectly. thanks again!!

We were nervous about this band because of their name, but soon realized how awesome they are. They have great energy, know up to date songs, as well as oldies and will work with you to have a fabulous night. Everyone danced the whole night at our wedding -- it was really fabulous. The band even learned a special song for our first dance. I would hire them again in a second -- worth every cent!

Mike didn't acutally perform for the ceremony but he did operate and provide the sound system we used. He was able to secure lapel mics and speakers which were very useful during our outdoor wedding. He took care of the standing microphone which the officiant used and played the music which we chose ahead of time and provided for him to play.
