Bings Bakery did an absolutely phenomenal job with our wedding cake! The process of picking out our flavors, and design was easy and stress-free, and the day of the wedding they absolutely delivered! We had so many guests tell us how delicious the cake was, and all of it was eaten up at the end of the night!

I was planning my wedding alone and survived post-phoning due to COVID. Full time adaptive working, 150 person guest list, across 7 states and stressful doesn’t begin to describe it. I had a hard time getting in contact with vendors or finding those with availability. I set an appointment to visit and share my vision for the day so glad for the prompt response and ability to actually visit in person. Feeling so behind and lost I actually arrived a whole month early for my appointment. Norma and the ladies in the shoppe that day calmly eased my mind and that I had plenty of time to check this task off my list. Norma took a moment to sit with me that day and ease my nerves so well. I could send in my Pinterest and everything was clearly explained what could be done and the differences with icing, frosting and fondant. The end of that first meeting I knew then I was in good hands. I picked up the tasting box along with a few shoppe treats and visited serval times after just for the treats. The best elephant ears my mom has been able to find in years and no need to hit Philly for the ameretti cookies. The cake showed up the day of and the place was a buzz with how great it looked. Covered in icing people didn’t believe it, even in pictures you wouldn’t expect the level of detail. We didn’t have a single slice left to take home!

Our cake was everything we dreamed of and more for our wedding. My guests thought it tasted delicious. I hope to upload photos as soon as we receive our photos back.

We got our wedding cake at Bing's bakery and we could not have been more pleased!! They had excellent customer service and we loved our cake tasting with Norma! They were easy to reach and made it a piece of cake to mail the topper right to the bakery. Not only was the cake beautiful on the outside (looking exactly like we had envisioned) but it was DELICIOUS and a huge hit at the wedding!! We highly recommend Bing's for any event! Absolutely top notch and classy!

We have been using Bings Bakery for all of our family parties and celebrations so there was no question who to go to for our wedding cake. Norma and Carla listened to our vision and created the most stunning five tier cake, each layer a different cake flavor and filling. It was absolutely beautiful and beyond delicious. Bings representative meet with us months prior. We were able to set up an appointment up to the 4th week prior to our wedding. Well, I can say the can was a great representation of the business. Not only did they follow all of the details of what we wanted but the cake was spectacular. All of my guests have been talking about how good the cake was. We had a few different flavored cakes with different layers of fillings to complement the type of cake chosen in each layer. I highly recommend Bing's Bakery for your sweet tooth and event needs.

The cake was delicious and far more beautiful than the design in the picutres. surpassed my expectations!

Wings provided wonderful service for our wedding on November 10, 2017. Norma was an absolute pleasure to work with. The cake was delicious and gorgeous. The gentleman that arrived at the venue was early and made a beautiful arrangement of the cake and cupcakes. I highly recommend Bing's Bakery in Newark, Delaware for all your cake needs!

I can't recommend Bings enough! They were a pleasure to work with and helped answer all of my questions. Even let me make my own cake base and met with me multiple times to make sure it would work. They coordinated directly with our venue, which made everything so easy! Our cake turned out to be beautiful and so delicious!-

We used Bing's for our wedding in September 2016. Bing's is somewhat of a tradition in our family, my parents got their wedding cake there so we knew the tradition as well as the great products and service they provide. We went on-traditional and got mini cupcakes for our wedding - red velvet and vanilla. We also got a small 8" cake for our cake cutting. The price was so reasonable that we ordered more, and well, I think we ordered too many. Haha! But that goes to show how reasonably priced they were. Everything was delicious and Bing's is very knowledgable in the business. We will definitely return there in the future.

Our wedding cake was gorgeous!!!! Norma was so helpful during the cake tasting and really cared about what we wanted. She gave us good suggestions and was always willing to talk to us when we "dropped in" to make little changes to the cake or ask any questions. Our cake was perfect! We went to the bakery after the wedding just to thank her for the amazing job she did - I couldn't have imagined a nicer cake for our special day. And most importantly, it tasted delicious! We will definitely be ordering a cake from Bing's for our one year anniversary!

My (now) husband and I knew right from the start we wanted our wedding cake to come from Bing's Bakery. My sister had recommended them to us. The process was so simple and Norma made everything so easy for us and was so wonderful to us. Definitely an air of professionalism and instant trust. There was no problem with ordering a three tier cake (all different flavors) and having it made exactly like the picture I'd brought with me the first time we met. As a bride, it really really makes you feel at ease when you go to Bing's and they know exactly what to do for you and they make everything fantastic (and obviously- delicious!) for your big day! 11/10 will always go to Bing's for any special occasion cakes I need to order! My in-laws used Bing's for their wedding cake 35 years ago, so it was very special for us to use them as well. We ordered a cupcake tower with a small cake on top. Norma was a dream to work with, and created exactly what I wanted from vague descriptions of what I liked. Our guests still rave about how great the cupcakes were. You will not be disappointed. Do your guests (and budget!) a favor and use Bing's!

My sister just got married on October 17th, and we got her wedding cake from Bing's. I don't think we could have been any happier with the cake or the service! We met with Norma and she took an hour to help us select the perfect cake, letting us taste samples and offered us suggestions. She was kind and made the whole experience so much fun, instead of stressful. She even gave us an honest estimate according to our guest count of how much cake we would need instead of spending too much and having a ton of leftovers. We decided on a three tier cake, yellow cake on the bottom with raspberry filling, carrot cake as the second layer, and pound cake with a creamy vanilla filling on top. I had several guests come up to us asking where we ordered our cake from and said they had never had such delicious cake. We ended up running out of cake and all of the guests had just enough so it was the perfect amount. My sister (the bride) and her husband love pumpkin pie so Bing's even made them their own little pumpkin pie. Overall the best experience and a delicious cake. Our family definitely recommends this bakery for anyone planning a wedding, special occasion, or just wants to stop in for a delicious treat! They are right off of I95 so it's super accessible! Thank you to Bing's for helping to make our experience and my sister and new brother-and-law's day so special!

When it came to deciding where to order our wedding cake from, we knew immediately that it HAD to be from Bing's! Hands down best buttercream icing ever! Our cake was absolutely perfect and exactly what we had envisioned. You will NOT be disappointed!

As Mother of the Bride- I was very happy with the selection, service, and finished product. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful, affordable and most of all delicious! Carla worked with us customizing the couple's selection, allowed me to make payments throughout the months leading up to the wedding and then the delivery and set up was perfect. They worked with the florist to have live flowers placed around the cake along with the cake topper. We had a very positive experience with Bing's!!!

Bing's did a great job with our wedding cake and cupcakes. We worked with Norma to create a custom design that worked perfectly with our love bird themed reception. Since my husband has a gluten allergy we chose to do a small 8 inch round cake that we cut for pictures. We also had cupcakes for our guest which everyone raved about! Since we moved between our wedding and first anniversary I had Bing's create a replica cake for us to use for our celebration. I would and have recommended Bing's to many couples in the Newark area. Additionally, I am always sure to visit the bakery when I'm in town since everything they make is delicious!!

I had my wedding cake made by Bings in 2013. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted, and it tasted fantastic! I recommended my sister and a friend there for their wedding cakes as well! The staff is also extremely professional! Could not have been happier with my wedding cake!

Bings bakery had the perfect cake for us. Everyone loved it even days after. The price was reasonable better than competitors and they were kind enough to give us a small cake for our 1st anniversary wich was also amazing. The red velvet with filling is soo good. We also buy other cakes and desserts that are so pretty and tasty. The staff is great! We love you guys and will be coming back every year !

My wedding cake was so beautiful and tasty, and the top layer even tasted great after a year in the freezer!! We get all of our cakes here, for every occasion! Addictive and delicious!

I had been searching for the right red velvet cake for our wedding for several months, when someone told me about Bing's Bakery. After tasting there cake and all the differently fillings we decided to go with them. They did a wonderful job of designing the cake, based off of a picture I sent them. My husband also got his groom cake there which had cannoli filling which is his favorite and the design was exactly what he describe to them. Excellent Job, I will be using them for future cakes.

Bing's Bakery was so affordable and was a total hit at our wedding! We offered 3 different types of cupcakes, and had a beautiful 3 tier cake. They went beyond what I had pictured in my head and I was blown away at the result! Very nice staff and very quick to respond with all questions and concerns. Very flexible for scheduling tastings as well!

From the minute we met with Norma at Bing's Bakery who has such an out going, fun, energetic personality while being truly professional we knew we had made the right decision by selecting Delaware's oldest and best bakery to do our wedding cake! We are beyond happy with how amazing our wedding cake turned out not only was it unique and absolutely beautiful it was delicious! Our guests couldn't stop at one slice they had to try each flavor :)

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! They listened to all of my requests and didn't pressure me into anything I did not want! They also had a ton of pictures available to help me design my dream cake!

When it came time to plan our wedding cake we went to Bing's and had no regrets. We did a cake testing and when Norma brought out the carrot cake my fiance was hooked. We also had cupcakes that were a big hit with the guests. The service was outstanding. Bing's took everything over to the reception venue and we had nothing to worry about. The price was extremely reasonable. We will be back again in 2015 to plan my daughter's Sweet Sixteen Birthday Cake!

Over all what a WOW!! From going in an picking my design, then tasting all the delicious cakes with all the options of fillings! The design of the cake came out just the way I explained it, it was like a fairy tale!! Not only were my husband I extremely satisfied but all my guest went on about how good the cake taste and how beautiful the cake was. I will use this bakery for all my cakes an desserts and I would highly recommend to use them too!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome job by Norma. We had a three layer cake with a different flavor for each. My colors were chocolate and champagne. Two layers were gold rosettes and middle chocolate icing with a huge rose. I was very, very pleased. Cake was included in the package at Executive so I am not sure of the cost.

I strongly recommend Bing's Bakery! Norma is who I spoke to the three times I went to over the course of the year before the wedding, and she really helped plan what the wedding would look like. I wanted a Grecian cake that looked like greek pottery, so I got pictures and they were able to photoscan them on the cake. It turned out incredible!! With my grecian themed wedding, and the cake next to replica pottery, you could barely tell which was which! ;) All kidding aside, the cake was really done nicely. They have *all* sorts of tasty fillings to choose from and the service is great!

Norma and Bings Bakery made my wedding day perfect,Even with the cake shoved up my nose from my husband on our wedding day. I still use them for all my birthdays and special occasions. i even went back to order a replica cake topper for our first anniversary….because i ate the whole topper you are suppose to save. the cake was just too good to stick in the freezer for a year. :)

Bings Bakery is a great family owned business, the service is great ! Every one is friendly and they help you with making your big decisions with a cake, I had no idea there was so many options for cake. Thanks Bings for making my big day so GREAT

We went to several cake tastings at bakeries that worked with our reception venue and were included in our wedding package. After being extremely disappointed at each one, we decided to fall back on an old family favorite, Bing's Bakery, and pay for the cake separately. It was the best decision we could have made! Norma was so helpful in selecting the design that we envisioned. All of the staff are extremely friendly and eager to please. Bing's has a seemingly neverending selection of cake flavors, fillings, etc. And unlike at other cake tastings that only let us choose a few flavors to sample, Bing's let us try EVERYTHING. The cake turned out even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. And so many of our wedding guests commented that it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted. There's a reason Bing's is Delaware's "Longest Running Bakery" - I promise they will not disappoint!

Our cake came from Bing's and we could not be happier with the service we received and the delicious cake we had. Sugar crystals on a cake are a must!!

I went with cupcakes for my event. Bing's made a beautiful display and the design was identical to what my husband and I chose. The cupcakes and top tier cake were very moist and delicious. Only problem I had was that I told the bakery I would need a certain amount and there was not enough cupcakes for everyone if they decided to have one. I had some guests tell me there wasn't enough to go around. Other than that I was very satisfied with everything.

I had delicious cupcakes with an added top layer. The display and decorations was just what I ordered! The service was excellent!

My cake was awesome! Great service throughout. It was meeting in your neighbor's kitchen discussing recipes.

My husband and I only wanted a small cutting cake, as dessert for our guests was included in our catering package. Bing's provided a beautiful scroll work 9" cake, which was perfect for us & only cost $30!

We worked with Norma @ Bing's for our wedding cake and she was AMAZING to work with! So easy going and pleasant. I had a picture of what I wanted and she absolutely nailed it. It was perfect. Everyone thought the cake tasted amazing as well :)

Cake tasting, planning, everything was professional and delicious!

Our cake was three tiers each with a different flavor (chocolate w/cannoli cream filling, yellow w/strawberry and cream filling, and red velvet w/cream cheese icing filling). All of them were delicious! For the design, I photoshopped a design myself and brought it to the bakery. When we saw the cake, it looked just like the picture. The staff was also very careful with our cake topper (carved by my grandfather), which was great. I would highly recommend Bing's Bakery.

Norma was excellent as a consultant. Easy to work with, and the result was delicious!!

Beautiful Cake! Tasted Great! Delivered perfectly and on time. Our best man liked it so much he had 4 pieces!!

We worked with Norma and she was wonderful! Bing's had so many cake and filing flavors available, many more than the other cake testings we went to. They were very understanding when I changed the design of my cake. They were also very eager to help incorporate my thoughts into the cake. We used the florist nextdoor to the bakery, Gamble's Newark Florist. Carrie and Norma worked together to make sure everything coordinated and the result was fabulous! We even went to them for the groom's cake, which looked and tasted amazing as well!

This bakery was included in my wedding package- so I didn't have to pay any extra money for the cake. The cake turned out beautiful. When I made my consultation appointment and my fiance and I went they had forgotten we were scheduled- but then it worked out. The girl that worked at the bakery that wasn't doing the wedding cakes was pretty rude but the lady who planned out the cake with us was great. We had three tiers and each tier was a totally different cake and filling

Bing's did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. It was beautiful and they added the extra special touches we wanted - Spiders! (For a Halloween wedding of course!)

We selected Bing's as a local hometown favorite bakery. We went in with an open mind to our tasting and left deciding on a beautiful cake. They were able to follow our fall theme and colors, by creating a 3 level square cake with a branch and multi-colored fall leaves cascading down. It was absolutely gorgeous! We have received many calls since asking where we ordered our delicious cake!

Although they closed the Middletown store, the people in Middletown were very professional and helpful. A free tasting was fantastic and definitely helped us choose our cake flavors and fillings. There was no pressure for sales and the experience was 100% positive. Since the store closed, the main bakery delivered and set up the cake the morning of the wedding. Again, very professional and courteous. Rave reviews from our guests about the cake both presentation and taste. Will definitely use this bakery again for other celebrations. Even their everyday baked goods were fabulous.

Let me just list these.... 1. The cake tasting was scheduled atleast a week in advance but Bing's ran 30 minutes behind schedule and didn't even have all of the items to taste ready... not even by the time we left. 2. We picked the cake, fillings, decorations and were told it would be $500 extra only to receive a call later that our decorations could not be done like those we picked from their picture, and the cost would be more than double. 3. Poor quality, in my opinion.
