Maya and her team did a fantastic job making our dream wedding come to life. Maya is extremely kind, personable, and detail-oriented and went well above and beyond what we could ha...
ve asked of her. She had numerous calls with us to discuss our vision, stayed in contact as she built vignettes and inspo boards, and even helped us with getting place settings, table decor, linens, etc. We would have had to pay a fortune for all of these services separately, but you can tell that Maya genuinely loves what she does and prices her services very fairly. She was truly a cornerstone of our wedding day and we cannot recommend her services enough.
To say that I loved my wedding flowers would be an understatement. Words cannot truly express how AMAZING everything turned out. I got married on April 25, 2026 and Maya exceeded e...
very expectation and delivered the most lush, garden-inspired, colorful florals for my wedding day. She was by far my favorite wedding vendor.
Maya has an incredible personality, attention to detail, and wealth of knowledge. She was so patient with me, super dedicated (like, we spent hours on the phone discussing details multiple times!) and unbelievably flexible as I continued making changes throughout the planning process. She took so much time working with me to perfect the exact color palette and overall vision I wanted. From floral boards, digital mockups, flower types, and a vast inventory of candle, vases, ribbons and every tiny detail imaginable, she helped me through every design decision without making me feel overwhelmed.
Logistics wise she was a breeze to work with - extremely flexible and organized. One month before the wedding I was not sure how we would coordinate placing the flowers on the cake because our floral and cake deliveries were going to be at different times, but Maya reassured me and simply said "don't worry, we'll make sure it's done" and OMG it was done beautifully. She also designed each arrangement in a way that allowed guests to take the florals home after the event, which meant so much to me because that’s very common in my family/culture.
I honestly wish I could get married again just so she could do my flowers all over again!
Absolutely LOVE! Maya was wonderful to work with and really helped bring my wedding vision to life! I love the local and sustainable mission.
Biofloria was absolutely incredible, and Maya truly brought our vision to life in the most beautiful way.
She created a vibrant, garden-style floral design for the ceremony filled...
with bright colors, which flowed perfectly into cocktail hour with candles and bud vases. One of our favorite details was how she thoughtfully incorporated flowers around our 1,000 origami cranes on the dinner tables, it made everything feel so personal and unique.
Maya was a delight to work with from start to finish, and the florals exceeded all of our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests on how stunning everything looked.
We couldn’t recommend Biofloria more!

Maya spent *hours* dedicating her time to us and our springy envisioning of our day. I can’t thank her enough for that time - and trust when I say, it was incredibly helpful! When we finally got to our wedding day, my husband and I (and guests as we were told) were blown away at the exact conversations being brought to life with local spring, garden style blooms as we had asked for.
If you’re lucky enough to have Maya’s availability, hire her!

listened carefully, while showing great excitement and passion for her work which gave me all the confidence I needed to know I made the right choice! Additionally, we found her prices to be far more fair and reasonable than most in this area - not just pricing gouging because “wedding” is in front of it. Not only is she an amazing, creative florist, she is an incredibly sweet, warm and bubbly human who cares about the world beyond flowers. I really loved working with Maya and can’t recommend her and her team enough! Thank you again for giving me my wedding flowers of my dreams🥹

sh venue so we wanted limited pops of white flowers and lots of candles to complement it (she was able to supply the candles too which was so huge!). Maya had great ideas and recommendations throughout- we chatted on the phone a number of times and she was so helpful, friendly, and always really respectful of our budget.
Maya went above and beyond with another piece we didn't even know about until our wedding day- my mom reached out to her a month before the wedding to see if she could incorporate pieces of lace from her and my mother-in-law's wedding dresses into our bouquet/boutonniere. She was so excited to do it and did so beautifully!!
We are so thankful to Maya and team for being an amazing and joyful part of our wedding day and making it absolutely stunning :)

leading up to my wedding, including multiple design calls she organized to go over all floral aspects of the day, I was still blown away by Maya’s work at the wedding. Everything was perfect and beyond what I hoped for. Maya was organized, prompt, and helpful to work with. I cannot recommend Biofloria enough. If you use Biofloria for your event, you’re guaranteed to have an absolutely beautiful wedding.

iple times early on to determine the best set of florals to maximize our budget (originally <3k, but we ended up being able to flex a little and were glad we did), during which she was transparent about pricing and provided a variety of options to maximize our value, like using bud vases for some tables and reusing ceremony florals for the sweetheart table. No other florist we reached out to was able to provide the same volume of florals and level of service at our price point. We also appreciated Biofloria’s commitment to more eco-friendly florals like using local blooms and reusable materials. Closer to the big day, Maya met with us a few more times to nail down the specifics and took lots of time to understand our vision and priorities, tweaking our color palette to better reflect our style. We were blown away by the vibrant, lush florals and got lots of compliments. The arch, bouquets, and centerpiece designs were just like we imagined, with even more color and volume than we dared to hope for!

ht away and we chatted for half and hour. I still went through the motions and spoke with other florists who were asking me for wedding details that I had not even begun thinking about yet. As a bride who was overwhelmed with decision paralysis from all the different aspects of wedding planning she was so helpful and easy to work with. She sent me a moodboard and I knew right away that I trusted her vision and design skills. I loved all of the floral arrangements, especially my bouquet. It looks so gorgeous in all of the photographs.

le hour having so much fun building a vision! She quickly became my favorite vendor to talk to. Not only that, but she clearly understood what we wanted and within our budget which was so hard to find in the NOVA area. She is so passionate about her art and has such an acute attention to detail. Our florals looked exactly like what we envisioned and brightened up our event with such visual joy. Please work with Maya!!

ed and truly cares about her clients, and did so much to make sure we had the florals of our dreams. Every time I talk to someone about our wedding, the first thing they comment on is how stunning our flowers were! 3 months later and I’m still obsessed with how she truly helped us achieve the wedding of my dreams. Please do yourself a favor and work with Maya, she will not disappoint!!!

esign process, and she led us through extremely helpful design sessions aided by the excellent vision boards she provided. She also worked with us to meet all of our needs within our budget.
On the day of the wedding, she was a champ - laboring in the oppressive Northern Virginia heat to set up outdoor ceremony decorations and building out florals in our trellis. The whole time she was upbeat and brought a positive energy to our day.
Maya is a highly professional gifted artist and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a florist in the DMV!

uquets in the ceremony for the reception and adding creative touches to elevate the space beautifully, like greenery on sconces. She even created a mood board for us before booking - however, I knew we’d choose her immediately after my first consultation! Having interviewed several other florists, Maya stood out as someone who is clearly passionate about flowers, creative, attentive, sweet, and professional. We are so happy we went with her - and we trusted her wholeheartedly to make the place more beautiful than we ever could’ve dreamed! Thank you 🤍🌸
If you are looking for a florist, look no further!!! Maya is AMAZING!!! Maya was one of our favorite vendors to work with!
More than just providing stunning floral arrangements (I ...
mean the photos speak for themselves), she is a such a sweetheart. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile did not gone unnoticed. From our initial consultation to the final preparations, she made all my vision come to life. We changed our ideas and even added last minute request and Maya and her team made it all possible.
Maya, Thank you for incredible dedication and support throughout the planning process for our wedding. Your passion for your craft shines through in everything you do, and we couldn't be more grateful to have you part of our special day!

floria on Instagram, and we had our consultation, I knew I found the right florist for my special day.
Maya is sweet, understanding, flexible, attentive to detail, and so much more. I didn’t want white or ivory flowers. Instead, I wanted pretty spring flowers that were dreamy and romantic. When I saw the flowers on my wedding day, I was blown away! Everyone loved my flowers. My bridal party loved their florals as well!
So much so say, but if you’re trying to decide if you should go with Biofloria, let this be your sign to now wavier anymore, and say yes to them.
Maya/Biofloria was a great choice! From the initial phone call, I could tell that Maya was passionate about flowers and providing a great experience for her clients. I didn't know ...
anything about flowers and she was kind, patient, and informative with me and walked me through the process. It was truly fun collaborating with her for my wedding florals. I wanted to incorporate cherry blossoms and Maya did a great job of securing them for the day and incorporating them to our design. When I saw the designs come to life, I was blown away by it all! Everyone complimented the table decor, the large flower designs with the urn, and everything else. What made it even special was that Maya helped wrap up individual bouquets for our guests at the end of the evening. She truly is the most magical, kind, and wonderful person and I am so happy that we worked together!

day of the outdoor ceremony when one of the floral arrangements was attracting too many bees, she easily made a change of floral and everything was still gorgeous. I highly recommend Maya of Biofloria as she is a joy to work with and has great creative inspiration.

ve and detail oriented, stuck to our budget, she sent us beautiful mood boards, and she gave us great suggestions we never would have thought of that really made the wedding shine. When I walked into my own wedding and then into my reception, the flowers were exactly what I pictured except better. They were bigger and more beautiful but still extremely refined. The arch, tables, and sweetheart table were stunning. My bouquet was perfect. The bridesmaid corsages had pearl bands that the girls loved. There were beautiful flowers everywhere. I encouraged several guests to take flowers home with them at the end of the night and they did. I'm recommending Maya to all my local friends that are getting engaged soon. I'm convinced that you cannot find a better florist. Thank you Maya!
Maya is AMAIZING! Most reasonably priced florist in the DMV area by far, and somehow also the most sustainable. We chose her to do our wedding flowers and she exceeded anything we ...
could imagine. Not only did she deliver perfectly on my dream bridal bouquet, she also surprised us with arch flowers and aisle florals that she put together with extra flowers she had sourced (her shop focuses on sustainability and not throwing out plant parts!). Everything she delivered - bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, flower children petals, boutonnieres, arch flowers, aisle florals - was fresh, smelled incredible, and looked a dream. No matter how vague or specific I was, Maya was so patient in walking me toward a vision that looked fantastic and somehow stood out in a garden wedding filled with other flowers. Her attention to detail and personalized approach was perfect. We simply cannot express how amazing our flowers are - she somehow captured the perfect vision I didn't know I had. (And even after throwing my bouquet around all wedding, it still looks gorgeous - the two closeup photos of the bouquet are after a full wedding day. Other photos by Mary Catherine Photography.)
Maya was incredible with our florals. She took the time to really get to know myself and the groom for our wedding. My husband and I gave her full support to be as creative as she ...
would like. We gave her what colors we wanted and she did the rest. There were a couple times I had to switch up the budget due to lack of planning on my part but she was ever so helpful and still wanted to work with us. Maya is the sweetest person you will get to meet and is absolutely amazing at her job. She also recommended her brother who does photography and they worked so great together. Please if y’all are considering a florist for your wedding or just in general GO WITH MAYA🙏🏼👏🏼
