We are two extremely busy professionals who had little to no time to plan our wedding, not to mention we had no idea what to do when it came to wedding planning -- what vendors to choose, how many flowers do you need so the room doesn't look bare, what color table cloths will accent the dark wood beams in our venue, etc. We trusted Birch and Honey with every moving piece of our wedding and they knocked it out of the park! We trusted them to make executive decisions because they are just that good (and they knew better than we did!). Laura and Carey were our lead coordinators. Those two are something special! A few things went awry on wedding day with late deliveries etc., and we didn't even notice because they handled everything so well! It's truly amazing how they were able to handle all 10+ vendors--coordinating all their different schedules, requests, and needs--with such poise. During the planning process, my now husband and I were extremely busy. There were times I turned to him and said, "I have no idea what's happening with x,y,z for the wedding planning (because I wouldn't check my personal email lol) but I'm confident Laura and Carey have it under control!" He agreed. We would then have check-in calls and were always presented with and extremely thorough outline on status and next steps, which were then sent to us via email as well. SUPER helpful for those with little spare time. Not only are Laura and Carey excellent planners, they are excellent people and super fun to be around. At one point during the middle of the dance party at our reception I even asked Laura/Carey if they would be our friends forever, and I think they said yes! Anyways, this is a long way of saying, do not hesitate to hire this team! It's worth the investment.

We were first assigned a planner on her team who sadly moved away from the Denver area this year, so they paired us with an AMAZING lead planner, Laura. It was a perfectly smooth transition. Laura and I had monthly calls to touch base on planning progress. She offered resources, advice, helped with organizing, and much much more. I miss our monthly calls! Madison was another B&H planner that was assigned to us for the day of the wedding. Between Laura & Madison, they truly did everything on the day of our wedding to ensure everything was 1000% perfect. One of my favorite moments was after we were married and walked back down the aisle, there were the Birch & Honey gals standing there to greet us with congratulations & our first drinks! We are so grateful to have worked with such a professional, fun and just all around fantastic group for our wedding planning needs. Wish we could do it all again!!!

ed a full-service planner to help me and my fiancé pull off the wedding we both envisioned, I squirmed. A lot. And then I started researching. And then I interviewed five different planners. Kelsey was the only one who made me feel like I was allowed to exhale, and who I felt could be entrusted with the task at hand. So we hired Birch and Honey without hesitation. Now, I had moments throughout the planning process where my faith faltered, but there was never any justification for that. Birch and Honey always had my back, and the wedding came together even dreamier and more "us" than I ever could have imagined. After working with Kelsey to book the major vendors, we transitioned to working primarily with Jordana and Jena, whom I adore. Jordana is the ultimate hype girl and she sets and achieves a very high standard in everything she does. She would never settle until I was completely and totally happy with each vendor, cost and any ancillary decision related to the wedding weekend. Jordana told me from the outset that she likes to keep brides involved in all decisions throughout the process, and I was really glad she took that approach. I was able to think through and decide on every detail, big and small, without worrying that at some point I'd be off track on timing or that things would fall apart the day of. It was a lot of work, honestly, but I found I really enjoyed being hands on and learning about, say, flower varietals. :) (Jordana also convinced me to create a Pinterest account during the planning process and then showed me how to use it, if that says anything ... ) I also think she helped me save thousands of dollars and stay around our budget by pointing out small but expensive things that we could do without (e.g. plate chargers, table greenery). This team works HARD. We exchanged emails nearly every week — often multiple times a week — and countless texts and phone calls, and they attended several in person meetings. I have heard Kelsey say before that it's SO important to trust your planner. And if I learned anything from my wedding planning experience (and tbh I learned A LOT), it's that. Despite my occasional misgivings, B+H always had things under control and, somehow, the team understood the exact vision my fiancé and I had for our wedding day after only a couple of meetings and conversations. They intuited — and then executed — everything so well. When our wedding weekend arrived, Jordana and Jena SHINED. They were a dream team, and friends and family kept saying to me, "Where did you find your planners? They are AMAZING," or "Your planners are working their asses off and it shows — everything has been seamless." I could not have been more thankful for them, on our wedding day, but also now, months later. They pulled off a beautiful, near-flawless event and allowed me and my husband to be totally worry-free and just enjoy each moment of our fabulous (but fleeting) day. So, go forth and hire Birch and Honey. And then after you do, remember: trust your planner!

She stepped in a little more than a month out and was so kind, calm and organized. The first time we met her in person we knew she was going to be amazing, and instantly put us at ease. Our wedding was at a venue where we chose all our own vendors and we had a tonnnn of DIY decor. Kristin flawlessly made the space more beautiful then we could have ever imagined, and she was so kind and organized along the way. She calmed my nerves and truly created the best night for us. About midway through our planning process, our venue called us up and cancelled our wedding out of the blue - we were stressed and scrambling to figure out a plan - but Kelsey managed it flawlessly. She is extremely good at her craft and is very knowledgable about the wedding industry here in Colorado. Kelsey took my vision and made it more than I ever could have imagined. We ended up working with Jena throughout the process and she was our day of coordinator. Jena is SUCH a lovely human being and also just plain fun to work with. She's easy going and gets stuff done. An unexpected snow storm came into Denver the week of our wedding and Jena made the EXTREMELY stressful week so much easier. Jena went out of her way to call and send texts throughout the week to check in. Jena also just has an extremely calm demeanor which is just what a stressed out bride needs. On our wedding day, Jena and Laura were there to run the day. I mean it when I say that it felt like hanging out with a few extra girlfriends. I was so nervous and didn't know where to start. I didn't have a ton of support from family and most of the planning was left up to me. Like most, it was my first time getting married and I just had no idea how to plan a wedding. Our first phone call with Kelsey finally made everything feel so real and doable. With her knowledge and expertise, we knew we had to hire her immediately - and honestly, it was the best decision we could have made. Without Kelsey, I would have never had a vendor "Dream Team" is what I like to call it. With her help, we were able to tap into Denver's best vendors who were within our price range. We knew we could trust these vendors because she had worked with them in the past. With how crazy the 2021 wedding season is, we knew we needed vendors we could rely on and not get screwed over and potentially lose deposits with. We were planning a wedding in 8 months and there was no room for error. Personally, I was an indecisive bride who would sometimes get stuck on a decision and wouldn't know what to do. Between the vendors and Kelsey, I knew I could 100% trust in them. Trust is so important when considering who you're going to hire as your wedding planner. I remember laughing and saying that if Kelsey told me to jump off a bridge I probably would do it just because I trust her judgment that much. I'm only a little dramatic. But, there were times when communicating with the venue that I felt like I wasn't being heard and that my vision for my wedding was being skewed. Without missing a beat, Kelsey was our advocate. She was a part of our Team and stood up for us when we felt too unsure to say anything. And just in general, if I wasn't sure about something I knew I could ask her for her honest opinion. Leading up to the wedding, Birch and Honey Collective made sure I was following my timeline, even when life got a little crazy. Knowing it was impossible for me to miss something because someone else was also keeping track of everything took so much stress off my plate. And finally, the day of the wedding came and went. First, it was amazing to get to the venue and already see Kelsey and her team getting everything ready. I wasn't bothered at all while getting ready - everyone knew to just ask Kelsey. I was able to be calm and have fun and just be excited to marry my soulmate. That in itself made it so worth it to have Kelsey - again on our Team. Having hired Birch and Honey made it so I didn't have to worry about a single thing during the entire wedding. Throughout the wedding, my husband and I were taken care of by her team - making sure we had drinks or keeping to schedule with first dances and speeches. I chose to do month-of-coordination, and at exactly a month until my day, she really hit the ground running. It was really nice to have someone there to meet my vendors, while I was running around in panic to get other things done. She was patient with wedding party when we were being really annoying during the rehearsal. She never complained, and I felt like she was a friend I'd known my whole life! She had awesome ideas, was super responsive, and gave me advice when I needed it. Kristen was great, as well. We had our wedding in our backyard at our house, and she was so good with keeping guests from gathering in the house. She was also with me before it was time for me to walk down the aisle. I was really anxious and could not stop bouncing around and she calmed me down. It was really nice to have her there with me. B+H has a really great team and they are all extremely knowledgeable. I truly would not have had the amazing wedding experience I had, if I had not had the team and Jordana by my side. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about them. The amount of energy that goes into what they do, the passion and the hard work did not go unnoticed.

For COVID brides, for future (hopefully non-COVID) brides, I highly recommend Kelsey and her team to help you plan your big day. For the amount of service she provided, I thought her costs were VERY reasonable. She picked amazing vendors for our wedding (florist, hair & makeup, bakery, DJ) and I trusted her judgement completely. We didn't hire a videographer for the wedding due to trying to keep costs low, and Kelsey even sneakily took a video of my husband and my "first look," it's something I'll cherish forever!
