. Instead of calling Amy with my selection I went way out of my way to tell Amy in person, because I felt so connected to her that I didn't feel any other way would have been sufficient. I would HIGHLY recommend Amy to anyone, especially my friends and family. I have not yet received my dress nor had it altered. I called the seamstress recommendation though, which was very expensive, so I will be looking for another option.

I had an absolutely magical experience at Birchwood, it means expectations were totally defied! Birchwood turned something that I was dreading into a the warm, fuzzy moment every bride hopes for. Amy welcomed my family and I into this unique and cozy space with flattering lighting (no harsh, overhead changing-room lights). I had a "Dream Appointment" which included local chocolates and champagne for me and my guests--they were SO tasty--highly recommend requesting this option! The form I filled out to make the appointment was clearly considered when she pulled gowns for me and we talked about the pictures I shared to convey the "vibe" I was going for. I felt heard, supported, and never once pressured. I found my gown here, thanks to the time and care they took to prep for my appointment--they had two gowns shipped from another location for my appointment and of course one of those was my perfect gown! I could keep going on about why I loved my appointment and this shop, but this is already getting long :). SO happy to be a Birchwood Bride!!

She was encouraging, positive, and made my bridal shopping experience feel incredibly welcoming. I said yes to the dress at my first appointment and I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!

The salon is cozy and intimate, and they have a wide variety of gorgeous gowns across many price points. Right from the start they were easy to communicate with - responding promptly to my requests for appointments with notably friendly and relaxed customer service over email, phone, and text. Through email we discussed dress options and they wanted to make sure they had an idea of what I was interested in before I even arrived. I was lucky enough be able to change my appointment at the very last minute and they kindly accommodated! I cannot say enough about the dresses here. Of course, everyone has their own style and vision for a wedding dress. But these gowns are out of this world beautiful. All of them feel so unique and gorgeous in their own way. The store in Asheville is so private and calm - as they only allow one client at a time - and I was able to utilize the entire space while selecting my dress. The personal attention Sierra and Amy gave to me and my friend while we were there was very special and they should be really, really proud of the shop they run. I would recommend checking this place out ASAP if you are looking for an incredible gown and a relaxing and personalized experience.

I fell in love with a dress at Maggi, but I ended up falling a little more in love with a dress at a different store. Even so, Amy sent me the sweetest message to let me know how happy she was for me. I can’t recommend Maggi Bridal enough!!

there, they had already pulled some wedding dresses for me to try that fit the description I gave them! They help you get in and out of the dresses and they have such a cute, chic little area for you to walk out and view the dresses you try on! They only schedule one bride per time slot, so I very much appreciated being the only bride in the boutique, which made for a tailored experience! The appointment length time is perfect and they were so flexible with my indecisiveness! My guests were pleased with their experience as well and felt very comfortable in the store! Beyond all this, they have recommendations for tailors in the area and are willing to help with anything you need. They honestly just want to help you find your dream dress, and I'm so glad I found my dress with them! Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a wedding dress in the Asheville area!!

She also had me share some pictures of other dresses I liked prior to the appointment, so I felt she already understood my vision before I even got there! Everyone who has seen the dress has been absolutely gob smacked by it. I can't wait to wear it!!! Not only that, but I also bought earrings and a necklace. The accessories are GORGEOUS and so unique. On the day of our appointment she instantly made my mom and I feel comfortable, and she had fun touches like chocolates and sparkling apple cider (she also has champagne if you would prefer that!) waiting! I was able to try on all of the dresses that had caught my eye online, and I found the perfect one! Amy even pulled two dresses that ended up tied for second place that I probably would not have tried on otherwise. I felt like she really picked up perfectly on my personality and the overall feel of our wedding. She had wonderful suggestions throughout the appointment, and she found the perfect veil to match my dress! She has tons of beautiful accessories in her salon, and I loved that I was able to select everything that day. I would highly recommend visiting Maggi Bridal, and I would say that the dream appointment in particular is well-worth the investment if you're considering it.

or, mom, and I had the entire salon to ourselves during our 1 1/2 hour appointment. We were greeted at the door by the owner and then Delaney took over to help me find a dress. She was incredibly respectful to my budget- allowing me to look at anything I wanted but always letting me know if I was getting out of my price range. I did find my "yes dress" at Maggi Bridal! Here's the big thing though! I. Did. Not. Pick. It!!!! After trying on 3 dresses Delaney asked if I would try one she picked based on my feedback on the last 3. I did and we all cried when I walked out in it. It gets even better!!! The dress Delaney has me try on and that I ultimately picked was UNDER MY BUDGET!!! All in all, every bride deserves the Maggi Bridal Asheville; one on one, catered, fun experience! THANK YOU MAGGI BRIDAL ASHEVILLE

She never made me feel pressured into making a sale and was incredibly helpful at making me feel at ease. The salon was beautiful and very comfortable for my mother and sister who came along. The lighting was also gorgeous. Range of budget was great and had gorgeous gowns you could buy off the rack. Loved coming here and was so happy with everything.

After going to 3 other shops in Asheville, our bride had only 2 that were "fine." 2 of the 3 shops treated her very well and 1 mixed her in with gals trying on prom dresses and what seemed to be crowds of their friends onlooking. Amy at Maggie's worked us in at the end of the day and treated our bride like a BRIDE wants to be treated! Amy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and had just the care and attention to detail that our bride desired and needed. Not only that but she LOVED 4 of the 5 dresses she tried on. I could go on - the shop has a charming and cozy feel great for this moment, they have beautiful hair and head pieces right there, Amy's 1 on 1 personal assistant type attention and follow up was lovely and perfect. I think this is THE place to go in Asheville if you're a bride to be, are looking for THE dress, and want to have the best memory from this experience!

d my perfect dress! The staff was amazing at offering valid points and suggestions when I noticed smaller details I wanted to change. They were so excited with me and made me feel beyond beautiful. I know my dress is SO unique and loved the experience of finding the perfect match!

call and e-mail confirmation and reminder, I was put at ease with the kind and helpful guidance I received. When my friend and I arrived (from Knoxville), we were warmly welcomed and offered comfy seats/restrooms - which my 5 mo. pregnant friend especially appreciated. Brooke was my consultant and was very sweet and courteous of my needs the entire time. After looking through their selection of off-the-rack and custom order gowns, I had several I was excited to try on. They do have a smaller inventory to choose from, but each selection was so gorgeous and unique! I'll admit I was worried beforehand that I might not be able to find the traditional style gown I had my heart set on, knowing the Asheville location had more of a bohemian vibe, but those worries left me when I saw the many classic styles they also carried, complete with lace and tulle, and all the details you expect from a more timeless, vintage look. I never thought in a million years I would fall in love with the very first dress I tried on (I'm not that girl), but that's just what happened. Everyone's eyes lit up when I first walked out in it, the owner, Amy's, stylist, Brooke's, my friend's, and even my mom's via FaceTime since she wasn't able to be there. I truly felt like a bride in that moment and couldn't imagine recreating that experience to be any better. I did try on the other dresses still hanging in the fitting room, and while each one was beautiful and source for inspiration of how I might want to further style my gown, none held a candle. So back in my gown I went and Brooke topped me off with a lovely finger-tip length veil that was her own design (which she was so humble to not even mention until after the fact!) It was perfection. Needless to say, I found my dress that day and looking back on my visit is like a dream. I'll also add that all the ladies at the salon had wonderful recommendations for lunch and exploring Asheville after my appointment, and even though my heart was clearly set on "the" dress already, they did not pressure me to make a decision right away. I actually asked to come back after my appointment after thinking it over, and the owner graciously accommodated even though she had an event to get to that afternoon. Overall I was just really pleased with the time and effort these women showed me for my upcoming wedding day, and for that I am so grateful, and know I am in wonderful hands for the entire process with alterations and such leading up to then. TLDR: I went to Maggi Bridal and was blown away by the friendly and attentive staff, the incredible collection of gowns, & the surreal movie-scene like but actually IRL experience, and went home with a one-of-a-kind dress that feels like it was made just for me.
