Birchwood Meadow is a modern wedding barn venue located in Swanton, OH. Birchwood Meadow is family-owned and operated and offers couples a private, tranquil place for couples to exchange their vows. A stunning, two-story big timber barn venue quickly becoming the selection of trusted vendors, it provides a versatile canvas for you to create your dream day. Nestled on 27 acres in a serene park setting, Birchwood Meadow provides plenty of secluded space for soon-to-be-weds and their guests to enjoy a romantic celebration. It can host an array of events, from intimate elopements to lavish events of 300. Your day will begin upstairs in the event hall, where two luxurious get-ready suites for both the bride and groom will be ready for you to prepare for the ceremony. Vanity stations, cozy furniture, and an outdoor deck are available for you and your wedding party. Afterward, you and your entourage will make your way downstairs to either your indoor or outdoor event. Inside the Main Hall is a bright, open space that sports a blend of rustic charm and elegant details. Exposed wooden beams and delicate chandeliers hang from the ceiling over a wood floor, creating a bright, warm aesthetic. A stone fireplace is also present, adding a visually rich backdrop to your ceremony or back drop. Outside the main entrance is a covered patio ideal for cocktail hours, and lush open fields for you to host your big day under the stars. End your night with your wedding party staying in the onsite cabins and campfire. You will have exclusive use of the venue during your wedding day, giving you the freedom to enjoy your day to the fullest. Chairs, tables and table cloths will be provided and arranged into any formation you prefer. In addition, the team will happily connect you with their list of trusted vendors, from planners to officiants, to help you complete your vision.

Owner

We are a blended family with 6 children (five daughters and one son). As you can imagine with five daughters, wedding planning has been on our minds for years. Two years ago, our first daughter got married locally and one year later the second one got married and now we have a third getting married this year. Throughout these three daughters we have gained a wealth of knowledge on what the local wedding market offers and what it is missing. We are so excited to provide a unique barn and event venue that will bring your visions to life and create unforgettable memories!

s a beautiful modern barn with stunning surroundings, and it provided the perfect space to have both our ceremony and reception indoors (which was a must for us!). The on-site bridal and groom suites were a huge convenience, with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed to get ready comfortably the morning of the wedding. The staff worked hard behind the scenes to keep everything clean and tidy throughout the night and made a quick, seamless transition from ceremony to reception. We also heard so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was. Dave and Pam’s attention to detail and genuine care made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. We highly recommend Birchwood Meadow to any couple looking for a well-run and stunning venue.

ng everything to life. The venue is even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We had the most compliments from our guests about the space itself, both inside and outside. However, what the guests don't see is all the hard work Dave and Pam put in behind the scenes. They were more than willing to allow us to view the space multiple times, and always willing to answer questions. Shae was extremely helpful with our floor plan, as we had a larger guest count and wanted to make sure we utilized space wisely. Due to car troubles our coordinator was unable to attend the rehearsal, but Dave jumped in without being asked to help us walk through the ceremony. When we arrived at the venue the morning of, the floor plan wasn't exactly how I imagined it, and without any hesitation Pam jumped in and made it perfect. When it rained right before the ceremony, they both were problem solving along with our coordinators and rushed to make sure all the chairs were dry so we were only briefly behind schedule. They went above and beyond what is expected of venue owners in my opinion. I have no doubt this venue will continue to improve over the years!
