Where do I start? Let’s just say, we couldn’t have had the awesome day that we had without Tiffanie (Bird of Paradise Events). I came in contact with Tiffanie about 7 years prior to hiring her. She was the wedding planner for my son’s wedding and I watched her do an outstanding job for them and I told her when I get married, “She,” was going to be my planner. Fast forward to February of 2022, from the start, Tiffanie was honest, thorough with her information, and professional at all times. She made all the right connections to make my husband and my wedding day even more special than we imagined. She answered the late-night text messages, replied to the emails and helped to bring firm communications between myself and all the vendors. When questions were raised she got answers right away. From the moment I had my first meeting with Tiffanie, I knew she would be the perfect fit for my 10 year vow renewal. Like any wedding/vow renewal, it required great attention to detail since it was TWO large events in one day. The first month I met with Tiffanie, she showed such professionalism, suggested things I had not even thought about, and gave great attention to detail to ensure all my thoughts which were in my head made it to paper. Tiffanie was absolutely amazing. She made our destination wedding in Mexico so seamless and I was able to relax the entire time. She put out all types of fires that I didn't even know was happening which made our experience so much more special. We were able to truly enjoy our time in Mexico because she handled everything even things that wasn't her responsibility. We got married on June 26, 2021, and Tiffanie was absolutely AMAZING!!! There are not enough words to describe what Tiffanie meant to us. As I've never been married before, I was just about clueless on everything that goes into a wedding...and an EPIC wedding at that! Tiffanie was always proactive, gave us guidance, suggested vendors and then coordinated with all of them to make the process seamless for us. She handled every matter with grace! We weren't the most difficult, but we probably weren't the easiest couple to work with either. I work long hours and but she always stayed on top of us to make the decisions we needed to make. I went looking for a planner after my wedding was pushed back due to Covid and I realized there was absolutely no way I could do it myself. The heavens sent me Tiffanie and she made it all make sense for our May wedding. We didn’t connect until February btw. I wanted all of my vendors to be of color and she found them...even the florist!! With the wedding being the fastest day of my life there is no way I could’ve done it without her... I essentially just showed up and she handled the rest. Even the smallest of details. My husband and I are now looking for another event to plan just so we can call Tiffanie and we are not even event planning people. Next time we’ll know to call her from the beginning! Tiffanie could not have done a more amazing job! We were a COVID couple that had to reschedule from May 2020 to May 2021. Tiffanie took care of everything for us with the rescheduling and was so helpful as a month of planner. I would not call myself a calm person, but every person told me I handled wedding planning so well and said I was so relaxed -- this was entirely because I knew Tiffanie had everything covered. My parents originally did not think we needed a wedding planner, but even by the end they were singing Tiffanie's praises and said they were not sure how we would ever have done it without her. I would highly recommend Tiffanie to anyone planning a wedding. My mom and I are very organized and probably overstepped in our wedding planning process, however Tiffanie handled it with grace. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Tiffanie on our wedding in March. We chose the full wedding planning so , we got her for the whole year! First, when we met Tiff, she was So stylish beautiful ; which gave me a wonderful impression haha ! But anyways , she created a timeline and budget for us so we would know what to expect as time moved forward . She was with me and my bridesmaids the whole way through ; picking colors, tasting cakes, church meetings etc. She is so confident in her skill and it shows through her interaction with vendors and overbearing moms. On the wedding day , she managed to have Omnipresence somehow. The wedding started on time, our first reception started on time and the main reception started on time which, I hear , is uncommon. She had amazing vendors for us and used her connections to get discounts that saved us thousands. I loved my wedding day so much that I wanted to do it again the next day ! So .....If you need a planner who is tough , understands your vision, and can do a little two step while running things , don’t look any further!!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, VA. The hotel recommended that we hire a Day of Coordinator to handle the personal touches. I found Tiffanie on The Knot and we had a great initial conversation with her. We ultimately decided to hire her because of her great ideas and that she brings an assistant to help her out on the actual day. (I think the size of the wedding determines if she needs an assistant or not.) Tiffanie started working with us in depth about a month before the wedding. I had my own timeline, but she created her own which was much better. She was always very responsive to our emails with questions and changes to the timeline. We met with her several weeks before the wedding to review everything. During that meeting it was great how opinionated she was because she had tons of fabulous ideas that I never would have thought of. It was clear that she was an expert! Leading up to the wedding she also reached out to all of our vendors to confirm everything on their end. It was a huge time saver for us when she did that. During the final walk through she had some great ideas about room layout and it worked much better than what the hotel normally does. On the day of the wedding Tiffanie handled all of the details. I am typically a very detail-oriented person and like things a certain way, but I knew that she would be able to handle everything. We were able to visit with our guests without having to micromanage anything. When we had to do something (like the first dance or cake cutting), Tiffanie ushered us from one thing to another, which was very helpful. One of the best decisions in the wedding planning process was to hire Tiffanie!

On Sept. 15th 2018 I married an amazing woman and the day was made exceptional, due to our wedding planner at Bird of Paradise Events (BPE). As the husband, you sometimes miss the attention to detail that can make your wedding day memorable and special, but BPE took the time to understand myself and my wife as people and learn who we are as a couple. Upon selecting BPE as our planner, we were both immediately impressed with the amount of time that was invested into learning what was important to us as a couple and what we expected on our special day. Throughout the planning process I was impressed with ideas presented by BPE, the follow through with dealing with different vendors, and the promptness of replies from emails and phone calls. BPE consistently resolved any concern that my wife and I had as they arose with the venue and other vendors. We both praised BPE as being a knowledgeable and an informational team that suggested reputable vendors in the area to work with that consistently provided discounted and/or additional services to us due to the respect they have for BPE. Without BPE identifying these vendors we would have been lost in our search to identify tuxedos to rent, a dress to purchase, flowers, tailors, invitations, and wedding favors. Our ceremony was held at M&T bank stadium in Baltimore, MD in a very large space, and BPE created an intimate and fun environment. Our guest consistently praised how beautiful the space was transformed from a football club level to a beautiful wedding ceremony space. Everyone loved how the dinning room floor was organized and how the ceremony flowed on-time and with such elegance. A wedding planner is the person that you trust to ensure that your special day is special. As a bartender for a catering company for several years I value a planner that is prompt, organized, and that has created a well thought out plan for the big day. BPE met and exceeded all expectations. I know that our wedding day would not have been close to as amazing as it was, if BPE was not included. I know that BPE is the reason that our day was special. Words can not describe the happiness and joy that I felt on my wedding day! I can say that, my wedding was the best day of my entire life, and that has EVERYTHING to do with Tiffanie "The Event Planner" and the Bird of Paradise team!! My mom and I knew that we needed a planner to be able to enjoy the process of wedding prep. Bird Of Paradise was the ONLY planning team we agreed on (seriously). Family and friends continue to tell me that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. I am one of those women who knows “how much weight” words can carry and realize they leave a lasting impression. So as I write this review for Bird of Paradise Events, aka Tiffanie Event Planner, I hope you “feel the love” the Dorsey family is sending her way. BOP was our 1st AND last event planner interview as we engaged Tiffanie for full wedding event services on the spot, 12 months prior to our only daughters wedding. My Daughter and I had that “deer in the headlights” look as we walked into her Charles Street office, in our beloved Baltimore, not knowing truer words would ever be spoken ~ “Go ahead and interview your other options” Ms Tiffanie said, “I promise you’ll be back”. We left her office with contract in hand knowing this was THE BEST investment we would make. Ms Tiffanie has proven herself to be nothing short of phenomenal! She introduced us to the “best of the best vendors” in the Baltimore wedding industry and was ALWAYS present for every appointment over the next year; Dresses, Tuxedos, Shoes, Florist, DJ , Photo Booth, Stationary, Venue, Catering Menu, Seamstress, Photographer, Favors, Make up, Hair, Bakery, Jewelry....etc. Every detail of this wedding was created with our theme of “A Baltimore Party” in mind, and every single vendor she referred us to was professional and punctual throughout the entire journey. “The Fabulous Ms T”, as I affectionately call her, acted as our planner, advisor, counselor, mediator, social worker, referee, psychologist, coach and sounding board throughout the entire year. Be prepared to receive lots of updates and reminders - most generated at 1 am - as she is a communication queen! When the weather man said Hurricane Florence might impact the wedding day, I just didn’t know what to do! Little did I know Ms T would become our disaster crisis manager, as well, and by the time the words “what if” came out of my mouth she was already replying with “don’t worry Ms Susan, I already talked to the venue and if we need to....”. Thank Goddess the skies remained clear and wedding week proceeded on schedule, without so much as a bump in the road. And then came the day that our Baltimore Fairy Tale wedding came true! The words below are from our guests: Epic day! Amazing details - nothing was forgotten! Stunning florals - who was the Florist? I need her in my life! I can not believe how beautiful everything looked! I have never seen a bridal party have so much fun! The DJ was bumping! The food was the best I ever tasted at a wedding! Never been to a wedding that actually started on time! The best party ever! The serving staff was on point the entire time! The Bride looked like she stepped off the page of a bridal magazine! I have been to a lot of weddings in my 81 years, but this ranks #1! And our favorite - You & Jeff look like you were SO RELAXED - AND WE WERE!!! Tiffanie was so much more than just our event planner, she became a part of the family. We live in two different states and I put it all in her hands! She did not disappoint! Actually she exceeded our expectations with the coordination, decor, time management, guest relations,.. She kept me calm, took care of unity candles, card box (because I totally forgot about them) and even replaced table number frames that broke the day, before the renewal! This review is SO long overdue. As I approach my one year wedding anniversary, I cannot help but look back and be thankful for the people who made our dream wedding a reality. My husband and I first met Tiffanie and her team at our friends' wedding. When it was time to plan my own nuptials, I knew I wanted to leverage her expertise for day of coordination. When you hire Birds of Paradise, you will not only gain a team of true professionals, but also lifelong friends. Because the Peabody Library does not provide wedding coordination services, I really needed someone to "quarterback" major components of our event (e.g. flower delivery and set up, catering, lighting, DJ, photographers and transportation). Simply, Tiffanie exceeded our expectations and I cannot recommend her enough. She allowed us to focus on being fully present on our big day <3

Tiffanie is a real life super hero planner! I hired Tiffanie to be our day-of-coordinator, but throughout the whole planning process she was there to give spot on pro tips and great vendor recommendations! From the start Tiffanie was on top of her game! I know I drove her crazy at times, it's not easy planning a wedding for another industry pro (Love ya Tiff) but she always kept it professional while keeping our best interest at heart! I was worried that I was not really communicating my vision for the day very clearly but once we got to the venue it was everything I had dreamed of and more!!! Tiffanie handle everything like a true pro! Our wedding had so many moving parts, a difficult venue, multiple different vendors, and she had to manage keeping us on our timeline, she handled all with true ease and professionalism, like it was just like another day in the park for her. She is a true master of multitasking. If you want to just show up and enjoy your wedding day and not worry about anything hire Tiffanie and her team! HIRE HER! HIRE HER! HIRE HER!!!!

I cannot say enough about Tiffanie and her Birds of Paradise Team. I hired Tiffanie as my day of coordinator, however she provided so much more than I expected. Tiffanie listened and ensured everything was just as I wanted. While I am sure there were hiccups but they were not apparent to me. My one regret is that I did not hire Tiffanie for full Wedding Coordinator services.

As a do it all bride I knew I couldn't do it all by myself. Tiffanie stepped up to the plate as my day of coordinator and knocked the ball out of the park. She ensured my vision came to life and everything was on point! Thank you so much!!!

As a Bride that thought she could do it ALL! I have to thank Tiffanie for an amazing stress free day! All the exclamation points in the world could show you how excited I was to have someone that was hired only 3 days prior to our wedding (talk about flexible) bring my dream day to life. On a day that called for rain when I planned only for a beautiful outdoor wedding Tiffanie thought about Plan B and Plan C and everything happened and my guests where none the wiser! Absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about Tiffanie. From our first conversation, she was so kind and easy to speak with. Although we hired Tiffanie as our day-of-coordinator, she was always available for any questions we had and was always 100% honest. It was so nice to have her support throughout or wedding planning process. Her humor always helped to lighten those stressful moments as well. As the wedding approached, Tiffanie made sure everything was in order and she helped to keep us in check. She arrived timely to all meetings and was very accommodating as to the location. She was also timely to our wedding rehearsal which ran smoothly. On the actual day of the wedding, Tiffanie made sure that the day went off without a hitch! We were so relaxed because we knew she and her staff had everything under control. One moment that especially stood out was on the wedding day, I really wanted to have an exit using sparklers (last minute, I know) but could not find them anywhere in a rush. Tiffanie knew of my desire to have sparklers when she arrived to the hotel that morning. In some miraculous way, Tiffanie surprised us with sparklers for a sparkler exit later that night. Tiffanie was awesome to work with as our "day of coordinator " for our daughters' August 2016 wedding in College Park, Maryland. She got involved from the day we contracted with her. Way before her start date! She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, responsive, flexible and organized. She kept us on track despite my daughters' busy schedule and at times lack of availability. We are so grateful that Tiffanie was there for us on our wedding. We hired her as a day of planner, but she did a million times more. We had a lot of issues communicating with the venue coordinator prior to the event, and Tiffanie ended basically doing all of the back and forth with venue and other vendors. I had an orthodox Jewish wedding, which required a million and one different kinds of details. Although Tiffanie hadn't done an Orthodox wedding before, she really cared about understanding the different processes and details and was wonderful in navigating through the day. Without Tiffanie the wedding probably would have felt like work for my mother and I, but she made it possible for us to be guests.

Birds of Paradise Events is amazing! I worked with Tiffanie and Alexis for my wedding and everything was absolutely wonderful. I used them as "day of planners" and it was a huge stress relief. We started meeting together a couple weeks before the wedding and Tiffanie gave me great advice and planning tips. The 2 weeks leading up to my wedding, Tiffanie was on top of everything in helping me coordinate the day of schedule. We got married at the Hippodrome Theater in downtown Baltimore, and we had an outside caterer, so it was extremely important that I have someone there on the day of to make sure everything was setup correctly! On the day, I didn't have to worry about anything; flowers, caterer, etc. The day was flawless. I even had red wine spilled on me during the reception and her team was on their hands and knees scrubbing it out before our big entrance! So wonderful! I highly recommend them.

All I can say about Tiffanie, Alexis and Kristina of Birds of Paradise Events is that they are the ABSOLUTE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. We would not have had the day of our dreams without them. We met Tiffanie about 11 months before our big day and clicked right away. Tiffanie has been such a blessing to my husband and I since we met her 14 months ago, planning a wedding is truly stressful and she was there to take all of the stress away. Tiffanie is great to work with. She is very organized and knows how to get things done in a timely manner. We initially were feeling quite overwhelmed with all of the things that needed to get done for our wedding. We were running tight on time. Once Tiffanie became our planner, we instantly felt a huge weight off our shoulders. She has many connects and was able to help us with any issue we had. She has a calm demeanor even while she is getting so much done... so she also made us feel very relaxed in the midst of all of the planning. And then on the wedding day, everything went perfectly and we did not have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend Tiffanie.

Deciding to hire a wedding planner to assist with the "day of" wedding coordination was one of the best decisions that I made during the wedding planning process. Being an out of state bride, I needed someone who was professional, reliable, organized, and able to get things done! I found all of those characteristics and more when I met and hired Tiffanie! What impressed me most about Tiffany was that she seemed to anticipate our needs, and when we needed her for something on the wedding day, she seemed to be right in place before we knew it! She did some fabulous last-minute decorations of the reception venue with the materials that we provided (just give her some votives and a few props and you will be surprised what she can do!).
