Hiring Alex with Birdeye was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I had seen some of her work before and just loved her style. She was so easy to work with and even traveled to Chicago on a hot day in August to shoot our wedding. From the first second of our highlight video, I was obsessed! She captured every emotion and feeling so beautifully. Her work is so stunning, a friend of mine immediately booked Alex after seeing the videos. I can’t say enough about her beautiful artistry!

Alex was so great to work with! She truly captured exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. She took the time to listen to our thoughts and input, used the music we wanted, and accommodated us in a time crunch. She got the most amazing shots of our beautiful city, Chicago, and really portrayed what a downtown wedding is like. Birdeye Media was the best decision I made while planning my wedding. They were affordable and the footage was INCREDIBLE. My wedding video was in my hands just a couple weeks after the wedding and the quality was incomparable. During the wedding, they were fun and accommodating - and let the day happen without any orchestrating. Then they captured it, all of it, the fun, the love, the parts that made us laugh. At first, we weren't going to get a videographer for our wedding. I am so very happy we changed our minds and that we decided to go with Birdeye Media. We had SO much fun working with Alex and her work is...just unbelievable. There just aren't words to describe how perfectly she captured our day. Alex and Birdeye Media were more than we could ever ask for in a videographer. From before booking, Alex was so helpful in answering questions and helping me figure out what I wanted in my video. Throughout the entire process, Alex was so quick to respond to calls, text, emails with an answer or help right away. Alex was awesome to work with before, during and following the wedding. She made sure to capture all of the shots we wanted and was a trooper to stick around until after midnight with us to capture our NYE balloon drop. The videos came out beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the final product. We would absolutely recommend using Alex for your wedding!

Giving Birdeye Media a full 5 stars still doesn't adequately capture how incredible this team was on our wedding day. Alex was amazing and so easy to work with, from the first phone call (we live in NYC, so I had to plan the entire wedding from a distance) to the prompt post-wedding communication. When the big day finally comes, you will have so many moving parts and you will not want to have to worry about any of them. If you choose Birdeye Media for your wedding day (or any other big event you want captured on video), you can rest assured that everything will be captured and come together seamlessly. I was worried about feeling overwhelmed with people (photographers, videographers, family, etc.), but Alex works so quickly and efficiently, you will hardly notice she is there. She was extremely professional and unassuming, just what you want in a wedding videographer. We received our "teaser" video on the first night of our honeymoon (just a couple of days after the wedding) and couldn't stop watching it! It far exceeded our expectations and almost made us care less about the feature film. Once the feature came, however, we were once again blown away by Alex's incredible talent-it was so much more than we had imagined. We laughed and cried all over again and truly felt like we were reliving that magical day, which (trust me) you will wish you could immediately, because it goes by in the blink of an eye. We genuinely cannot recommend Alex and her team highly enough!

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Alex and Birdeye Media. Throughout the whole planning process, she responded SO quickly. She was flexible to adjusting to our specific wants for the video and so great to work with. On the wedding day, she was fun and relaxed. She edited and gave us our feature video back in a week and the raw footage in a month! And, I cannot say enough good things about the video. We are obviously a little biased, but all of our friends and family who have watched it have told us it's the best video they've ever seen. I let my husband pick our videographer because he has much more of a creative eye than I do. After looking at over a dozen vendors Birdeye Media was his favorite by far. I wasn't sure at first because it was a little out of our original price point and I didn't know if we "needed" a wedding video. I am so grateful I listened to him!!! Get a wedding video- there are some things photography just can't capture and Alex will capture those moments! She is very talented and easy to work with! Hire her- seriously. We got married in April 2015. Having never met Alex in person, I was a little nervous but she exceeded any expectations that we had. The video that we received of our day is one of the most treasured things that we have. Alex was able to capture every moment and create a video that truly expresses the way we felt that day. On top of the awesome customer service and the amazing video, Alex also stepped in several times during our wedding to help with things. Whether it was straightening my dress, fixing a tie or taking a picture, she was there for everything. We wouldn't choose anyone else to create a video for us and hope that we can use her again some day!

Alex with Birdeye Media was a great addition on our wedding day. As the groom I was a little unsure how I'd feel about having a video camera around us most of the day, but to be honest I hardly noticed Alex was there -- in a very good way! Her laid-back yet professional attitude was refreshing and definitely helped us relax while she was doing particular shots. Wedding pictures are a great way to remember the day but I've definitely watched the video more times than I can count (or looked at the pictures). To see yourself and family members on film is a different experience, there are many more facial expressions and things which just aren't captured by photography. No doubt will be a timeless treasure in the years to come. Recommendation -- get the raw footage of the wedding day in addition to the main feature. This includes all the video Alex shoots during the day and it is amazing to see everything play out on film. So much happens on your wedding day that you just can't process, and it's a great way to relive the day. It seems like just another cost when you are wedding planning but we felt it was one of the best choices we made.

Alex is amazing!!! We cannot stop watching our wedding videos!! There is so much creativity and heart in her work, and she was such a pleasure to work with. We got the highlight video and the feature--both are incredible and are perfect encapsulations of our day.

I made a last-minute decision to hire a videographer and contacted Alexandra at Birdeye Media just a couple of months before my wedding. She was quick to reply and so flexible, and discussed several options with me to work within my budget. I gave her a few ideas of what I was thinking for the video -- music without lyrics, lots of shots of dancing, kids, people smiling and laughing, as well as some specific shots from the wedding ceremony. It turned out completely perfectly. I am SO happy with it. I've received dozens and dozens of compliments on it, and my dad has watched it a million times and still tears up each time. I know it has allowed us and many others to experience (or re-experience) the joy of our day, including my relatives who live in a tiny village in Crete, Greece! Besides the video itself, Alexandra was amazing. My husband said he didn't even notice her presence until we were taking photos post-wedding! She blended in and was so casual and easy-going; it was such a relief to know she was just reliably "doing her thing" while we were doing ours. I am so grateful to Birdeye Media for their artistry and professionalism, especially as I believe it's one of the most affordable video vendors in St. Louis. I'd sincerely recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I used Birdeye Media for our wedding day. Alex arrived for the bridal party getting ready, scoped out the ceremony for premium shots, followed us for pictures, and stayed the entire reception. As my wedding day neared, I was really regretting not booking a videographer. I figured it would be too late to book one and was a bit bummed. However, then I came across Birdeye Media, a new videography business. Alex from Birdeye Media was a Godsend! She was wonderful about asking what I wanted in the video, and then she took the reins. Shortly after the wedding, she informed me that my videos were complete. I could not be happier! I have watched the videos so many times and absolutely love them each time! The videos have received so many compliments from family and friends. They allowed loved ones, both those who attended the wedding and those who could not, to recap such a special day. Alex captured all of the raw emotions and happenings of the entire day. She was extremely professional throughout the process. Birdeye Media, led by Alex Smith (videographer) contributed to my wedding day being the best day of my life! She exhibited professionalism from the second she came to the hair salon in the morning before the ceremony. It meant a lot that she wanted to even capture the time spent at the hair salon because we rented a spa room and all the bridesmaids had a blast and she added to the fun with her sparkling personality. I hired Alex to create a highlight video (teaser video) for my wedding on 11/15/14. Alex was SO GREAT to work with and I am beyond pleased with the final product. A few things you should know about Alex: she is very responsive, prompt and did all of her homework regarding which events my husband I wanted included in our video.
