The 5,000-square-foot restaurant can be found within a former art museum, exuding a modern and artistic ambiance. An industrial-style wrap-around alleyway filled with lush plant life is an excellent option for outdoor seating. With a focus on Eastern European cuisine, using California's abundant and fresh produce, Birdie G's is helmed by award-winning Chefs and Co-Owners Jeremy Fox and Matthew Schaler. The menu takes inspiration from Jeremy's ancestry, exploring cuisines from Hungary, Ukraine, Poland, and Germany. With a strong focus on zero-waste and sustainable practices, almost everything is made in-house with seasonal ingredients. They also buy their produce from the local farmers, fishermen, and ranchers.
