It was great to have both of them there throughout the afternoon and evening to capture the “getting ready” shots of the bridal party, detail shots (flowers, rings, favors and cake), our first-look by the lake, group pictures after the ceremony and action shots on the dance floor! John were not only amazing photographers, they were excited and happy for us. We created an amusement park theme wedding and they captured it perfectly. They were able to capture the fun amusement park feel we were going for. Tassia was great at discussing our vision before hand so she understood the look we were trying to achieve. We also had an engagement shoot at Knobel's Amusement Park which went phenomenal. Every photo Tassia took was amazing, I still get compliments on them. My husband and I both chose one thing that was important to us for our wedding, he chose food and I chose photography. We made those things a priority and compromised on other things. I can not express how wonderful it was to have Tassia and John there for us on our wedding day.

er photographer. We were running late due to my hair stylist and ran so much out of time we couldn't do our planned first look photos. I was so upset and stressed out from running late and she was there for me the whole time. She knew how important it was for me to at least quickly see my groom before the ceremony and my wedding coordinator wasn't going to even allow us 5 minutues together, but Danielle pulled her aside and convinced her otherwise and I got to have my few moments with him as well as the first look photos I've always wanted. That meant the world to me and I'm so thankful for her doing that. She was so great throughout the ceremony and reception getting all sorts of shots and only pulling us away briefly to get our couple pictures since we couldn't before the ceremony. I'm so thankful for her and sooo happy i went with Birds of a Feather.

It ended up being rainy and cold on the day of our wedding and our breathtaking mountaintop view was all cloudy. We had Tassia and her husband John. They are two of the sweetest people and their energy is unreal. They made sure to capture every photo I had on my request list. The preview we received had our family and friends just about screaming. The pictures that Tassia and John were able to capture were more amazing than I could have ever imagined. e for some people. She happily accepted the job, and I had seen some of her work from my own friends' wedding photos. They looked stunning, so I gave them a shot, and my trust was not misplaced at all! She was so laid-back, unlike most of those stressful photographers that are constantly barking out instructions for you to pose, or trying to coax expectations out of you every second to figure out your needs. We had a coffee date to discuss what we needed/wanted, and then decided on a location for the engagement photoshoot on a whim. When we did that photoshoot, we had so much fun exploring the landscape as well as posing (for the first time) with her and she was helpful with feedback and we bounced ideas off each other. She was really accommodating with us, and enjoyed hearing all my creative ideas (for photos). She kept in contact with us as well, making it stress-free and she was there for the first-look at the wedding, and managed to capture all the important parts of the wedding ceremony! It was outdoor, so the sun was really challenging for all of us, but the photos came out so beautifully. Not just that, but she knew when to capture all the moments of our ceremony which was completely signed (and interpreted in voice) in American Sign Language. She focused on our hands at the best moments, and our expressions (which are important for Deaf people). After that, she took great candid photos of the family as well as post-wedding photos of us and all in all, we had an unforgettable wedding and the photos will forever supplement these memories. And to top it off, I knew we would be getting a Dropbox link of the entire album (full-resolution) and a flashdrive in the mail, but I had no idea what we were getting in the mail. They surprised us with a flashdrive that's housed in a gorgeous wooden box with their company engraved on it, nested within some straw in another wooden box with their company on it as well. It was a nice surprise to top everything off!! Thank you so much Nikki, you were wonderful!

She gave me ways of how I could save and get the most for my money. When my husband and I met with her to do our Engagement photos, she was soft spoken, creative, made you feel comfortable (if you have never done these types of photos before, I would highly recommend doing them because it gets you in the mindset of focusing on your partner and not so much on getting your picture taken), and when we got the photos back, they were MAGNIFICENT! We were THRILLED! On the wedding day, Tassia photographed the girls and John photographed the guys. Their eye to capture sweet moments (my husband looking at me when I was walking down the aisle or his grandmother buttoning his shirt, etc) is impeccable.
