Our wedding weekend was perfect thanks for Heather, Annie, Maggie and Dan. They made our guests feel welcome and they they were there every step of the way to make sure everything about the wedding and weekend was perfect. We truly felt at home all weekend long - from the delicious homemade breakfast to the campfires at night, every moment was unforgettable. Our wedding ran so smoothly and our guests are still gushing a month later about how incredible the staff were and how gorgeous the venue was. Marc and I cannot thank you enough, Bishop Farm- you made our special day more perfect than we could have ever imagined!

We didn't feel the need (and turns out we were right) to hire a coordinator because the Salter's handle everything on the wedding weekend. They were so on top of it all. They recommended great vendors, most of the ones we booked were from their favorites. They really have thought of every detail and it is so calming! Planning our wedding was so much fun and they were available any time to answer our many questions. All of our friends & family & vendors had nothing but wonderful things to say about the Salter's and Bishop Farm. It is truly a magical place, and the website/photos do not even capture the true beauty when you see it in person. We fell in love with the ceremony barn dressed up like a church with pews and stained glass. It was just gorgeous and we dreamt about that barn door opening moment for a year before it finally happened. We loved that our family and wedding party could stay at the farm all weekend, and we all had a great time relaxing and celebrating. It was also convenient that they have a "wedding pantry" FULL to the brim of any kind of wedding/rustic decoration you could think of (jars, candle votives, all of the signs, table numbers, frames, baskets...you name it)! We didn't have to buy anything for our wedding because they had it all there to borrow. We donated our left over terra cotta pots to the pantry :) The farmhouse and cottages are adorable, and the fire pits so fun! I want to live there it's so beautiful. When the weekend ended and all our family had left, we spent another hour or so saying goodbye to Heather, Annie & Maggie and chatting...we just didn't want to leave! tention to detail is remarkable and our daughter's wedding was seamless! My daughter and I planned this wedding weekend with me living in Michigan (and my daughter in Massachusetts), so there was always the question of how things would fit together but Heather and Annie made it so easy and never complained about our MANY phone calls and emails! We held our ceremony in the breathtaking chapel and our reception in the main barn. The setting was like a dream and there were many props and decorative items available at the farm to compliment the surroundings. I can't tell you how many compliments we received from family and friends about the beautiful setting, the attention to detail and for those that stayed on the farm, the lovely accommodations.

Beyond it being a truly stunning venue, which you can clearly see in the photographs here and on their social media accounts, it is also wonderfully unique. Between the stained glass windows in the ceremony barn and the striking chandeliers in the reception barn, Bishop Farm offers a magical backdrop for your wedding day. What initially drew us to Bishop Farm during our venue search were the onsite accommodations. We knew we wanted our wedding party and parents to stay onsite with us to create this giant slumber party atmosphere for the weekend, and we were not disappointed. It was so much fun to have everyone together. Additionally, in our venue search, we wanted to avoid venues that we perceived as “wedding factories”—spaces that didn’t feel unique, intimate, or personal. When we found Bishop Farm and visited, we knew that the old farm feel and vintage décor touches would completely eclipse other barn venues—our decision was made, and Bishop Farm was where we wanted to get married! As a somewhat nontraditional bride and someone who doesn't find joy in planning large-scale events, I am so thankful to have had Heather and Annie with me every step of the way. They offered suggestions and guidance whenever I was overwhelmed with the sheer amount of choice and number of decisions to be made. Like so many people have said in their reviews, the Salter ladies have the wedding business down to a science. They know their venue. They know what works in it. More importantly, though, they know what won’t work, and they know how to communicate that to you while offering suggestions. They go above and beyond to make your wedding weekend easier for you, working tirelessly to finish the to-do list so you can enjoy time with friends and family. Going beyond their professionalism for a moment, though, Heather and Annie (and their lovely mama Maggie) are some of the warmest people that we’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Not only were they quick to jump on board with our crazy friends’ goofs, they also just charmed the hell out of every guest they met. We truly feel like we came away with new friends, and that is something unique and wonderful about Bishop Farm.

There are so many different parts to this venue that we fell in love with- the farmhouse, the cottages, the rainy day chapel, the beautiful landscape and gardens, and our favorite- the BARN! Our vision was something that had a vintage rustic charm, but not too "wood-booger" and Bishop Farm checked off every one of our boxes, and more. There are literally endless little details about the farm that add to the unique charm and beauty of it- the bathroom sinks made from original horse feeders in old horse stalls, the little balcony perch in the barn, the CHANDELIERS. The Salter ladies are the best around and will do everything in their power to ensure that everything from wedding planning, to the rehearsal dinner, to the wedding day and night go as smoothly as possible with little to no stress for the bride and groom. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have the rustic barn wedding of their dreams! It is a little slice of heaven and our guests have not stopped talking about it either. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. <3

the first and only venue we looked at. The grounds are like something out of a post card and the ceremony/reception barn will leave you speechless. From the moment we booked the Salter family made us feel like we were part of their family. Heather, Annie, Maggie and Dan were all so amazing from the moment we arrived to the goodbye tears as we were leaving. The farm has 6 cottages that lead to an amazing fire pit surrounded with bench swings. That's not all! The farmhouse/B&B has 7 rooms and so many common areas so you and your family/bridal party can enjoy the entire weekend together! Everything was very easy once we booked. They have so many great recommended vendors and a timeline to go by that made our planning so easy and stress free. It honestly felt like we had known all of our vendors for years! Everything about the wedding was so perfect. The Salter family literally took care of everything; I was not stressed one bit. They even gave me a walkie talkie to keep me updated on everything while I was getting hair and make up done! The moment the ceremony started the entire night was a dream. Our guests were blown away and kept asking us how we found this place?! Everything came together so perfectly. As bittersweet as it was for it to end, we wouldn't change one thing about the entire weekend. We will be looking for any opportunity to go back to the farm and would recommend this place to every couple! It is truly like a destination wedding without having to get on a plane. We had our rehearsal dinner there and our son's in-laws' hosted the wedding, reception and breakfast with the newlyweds. Each event was so beautiful and special -- And truth be known, all the Salter women made each and every one of us feel so incredibly special--from the beautiful grounds, the amazingly lovely and comfortable farmhouse and cottages, the delicious homemade breakfasts----- Well, I could go on and on and on---- Suffice it to say, if you can book Bishop Farm DO IT!!!! You will be THRILLED!!!!!!!!

We can't say enough nice things about this place!! On top of the venue being so charming and gorgeous, the Salter family who own it are the most welcoming, loving, and amazing people you will ever meet. They are top notch and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and you have the Best day ever!! I never once felt a bit of stress during any of the planning process or during any part of the wedding due to their hard work. Every guest said it was the absolute best wedding they have ever attended! It was truely a fairytale wedding that we can't stop thinking about and want to relive everyday!

r wedding for June 2017. The Salter's have put so much thought into every detail. One thing that we thought was so unique, cool and helpful was the pinterest/wedding pantry. Beneath the barn they have a space where decorations from prior weddings are stored so that incoming weddings may use it for their own. This was huge in saving not only some money but time too. Our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed of. The hospitality was fabulous and the Salter's organization for the wedding was top notch. Unlike alot of the other farms to choose from, you can have a real celebration and have the farm with your friends and family for the weekend, not just hours. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday, allowing us time to decorate in advance but more importantly enjoy a full wedding weekend with those dear to us. If you want a REAL wedding experience with your family and friends that will be unforgettable, Bishop Farm is it. Our friends and family won't stop raving about every moment and every detail. It was bitter sweet leaving at the end of the weekend as we whole heartedly feel as though we gained more family in the Salter ladies. We miss them and the whole Bishop experience immensely. It is an experience! SO much fun, tears of joy and amazing memories that we will forever cherish.

across Bishop Farm quite early in my search, and completely fell in love with the rustic charm, the chandeliers, and every amazing detail the venue provided. I thought it was a little to pricey, so I continued my search. Every other barn venue in New England fell flat to Bishop Farm, so we pulled the trigger and booked. I have not one regret! Heather, Annie, Maggie, and the rest of the staff at Bishop Farm made our day (and entire weekend) so perfect; the Salter family is absolutely amazing; they are so inviting, and make you feel comfortable and at ease on what can be a very stressful time! Throughout the planning process Heather and Annie answered each and every one of my questions promptly and with so much warmth. They, along with their beautiful ceremony and reception barns, are what made our day so perfect. By the time we left on the day after our wedding, they truly felt like old friends. This venue, and the family that runs it, is truly special.

We did not realize how important a great coordinator for a wedding was until we had ours with the best coordinators. They were ahead of the game at every turn. Not only that, they were always so happy and enthusiastic! Between the absolutely gorgeous property, the superb staff and organization, we could not recommend a better place to get married. We loved it and the place and people will always have a special place in our hearts.

I would recommend this venue to everyone, you really can not top the overall experience. We were the first couple to have the wedding in the barn and you can not find a better space. She kept me on track, reminded me of what needed to be done, answered every question I had, helped me find solutions to every problem, and coordinated with vendors. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her! The weekend of our wedding was wonderful! Everyone loved their rooms and cottages and felt right at home at the Inn. Sarah handled every little detail the day of the wedding and made sure everything was just how I wanted it. I remember people telling me that something would to wrong at my wedding and I should just accept it, but honestly, I can't think of anything I would have changed. I recommend Bishop Farm B&B to anyone looking for a place to get married. They will work with you to create the day you want or, if you are like me and have no idea what you want, will help you create a wedding that is perfect for you!

positive energy, she and her mom, Maggie, were not only willing but excited to be working with us to make our wedding special. They were flexible with everything we requested and the place felt like home. It offers 13 rooms including cottages so 25 family members got to stay with us on the farm. Sarah, the wedding coordinator was a perfect fit, she was happy and ready to help in every way possible. I would of been a mess the day of my wedding but she took on everything, I was happy, and the day turned out perfect. I cannot say enough kind things about these people and venue. Our entire weekend was magical. It started with customized lighting, BBQ & friends, to a beautiful ceremony, crazy party till 3 a.m, and a movie outdoors Sunday night to relax. HIGHLY recommended for any occasion from a truly happy bride & groom!
