and really set the tone for a special but relaxed day. Wedding days are stressful, so it’s important to be around people who add to the enjoyment of the day and have a calm presence. In my particular case, my mother felt ill halfway through getting her makeup done (she had surgery earlier that week, she’s fine now). Whitney was not only a calming presence for my mother, she also came to be with me and got me a plate of fruit. She made sure I was doing ok and taking care of myself. I am so appreciative of her kindness and thoughtfulness. She also gave me these beautiful pins to put in my hair and left extras with me. The team is so professional. Again, I highly recommend. From the moment they arrived, they brought such a calm, positive, and relaxing energy which was exactly what I was hoping for that morning.
Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly patient and accommodating. Whether I wanted to adjust my hair by an inch or make the smallest tweak to my makeup, no request ever felt like too much or too insignificant. I truly felt like I was working with women who genuinely wanted me to feel my most confident and beautiful, and that alone took so much stress off my shoulders. Simply put, I felt completely taken care of.
On top of that, they were amazing with all the other women getting ready that morning and adapted to everyone's different needs with patience and kindness. My mom was a little nervous about having her makeup done, and Nikole was so understanding. She happily let my mom use some of her own products which immediately put her at ease on such an important day. Everyone looked incredible, and we received so many compliments on how well our hair and makeup lasted from the morning all the way through the end of the night!
And how could I forget...they were so much fun to be around! Whitney and Nikole also did my hair and makeup for my welcome party the evening before, and we had an absolute blast. They went above and beyond their role, even offering to help zip me into my dress and put on my jewelry when I needed an extra set of hands. Those thoughtful gestures meant so much and are just another example of how much they truly care about their clients.

My biggest priority was achieving a natural, elevated look for myself and my bridesmaids, and they absolutely nailed it! They listened carefully to what each of us wanted, followed our inspiration photos beautifully, and made sure everyone was completely happy with their hair and makeup before they left. Everyone still looked like themselves, just the best version of themselves!
Even more impressive, our hair and makeup lasted all day and all night. We were still looking great at 2AM after hours of photos, happy tears, and dancing. Not only did they absolutely nail the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids, but they went above and beyond in every way. I was feeling pretty anxious that morning, and their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail immediately put me at ease. Whitney stayed through the final moments before my ceremony for touch-ups and was so attentive and supportive throughout the day.
The results were flawless; my hair and makeup looked amazing from the first photo to the last dance and stayed perfectly in place all night long. What really set the Bisous team apart, though, was how much they genuinely cared. They were helping bridesmaids get dressed, making sure our moms had water, and doing whatever they could to make everyone feel comfortable and beautiful.

But what really set them apart was how far above and beyond they went for us. They came with me to a second location for photos in the pouring rain and essentially redid everyone’s hair and makeup afterward without hesitation. Because of them, we were able to get the most unbelievable rain shots. They turned what could have been a stressful situation into something magical.

They were also great working with my 3 year old niece for her hair, put in extensions and gave great body to mom with extremely fine/thin hair, and great with my grandmother’s makeup who was afraid of anything “too glam”. Nikole took my many photos of makeup inspo and created the most beautiful look. As a South Asian bride with a bridal party that included a mix of ethnicities, I’ve often found it challenging to find makeup artists who can get everyone’s look just right. So, I did my homework before signing any contracts. Whitney, the owner, was incredibly professional, honest, and patiently answered all my questions when I reached out to her regarding the wedding, which left me confident to sign my contract.
After my trial with Nikole, I was blown away by the results. I scheduled it the day after my bachelorette weekend (probably not the best idea after drinking, sun exposure, and a saltwater pool!), so my skin was extremely dry and dull. Despite this, Nikole was able to prep/re-hydrate my skin and color match the foundation to my skin tone perfectly!
The following week, I had my hair trial with Whitney. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted but showed her two different pictures with elements I liked. She seamlessly merged them, bringing my dream hairstyle to life! I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome.

The team can both replicate styles from inspiration pictures and design their own creative looks -- I told Nikole and Whitney I wanted a natural glam look with a bun and their creativity and talent allowed me to look more gorgeous than my wildest expectations. They were so efficient, yet still paid attention to details such as making sure none of the bobby pins hurt, the placement of my veil, and necessary touch-ups throughout the day. Quotes from my bridesmaids include “I look like a goddess” and “I’ve never felt more beautiful.” One of my bridesmaids has already booked with Whitney for her wedding, and I am very happy to continue the chain of Bisous brides.

and Nikole (for makeup) nailed it on the first try and I absolutely loved that they could see the vision I was going for. The salon, itself, is conveniently located with its own parking lot (this is huge for me lol) and was a welcoming, beautiful set up. Between the trial and the actual wedding day, communication was always clear and Whitney responds quickly.
For the wedding day, the team arrived promptly at our venue. Even though our venue was incredibly disorganized and didn't have great lighting, the team was prepared and able to work their magic. Everyone that got hair and/or makeup done looked fantastic, and it held throughout the day into the night of dancing and partying. Everyone was so professional and personable, two things that were oh so crucial for me as a bride and customer. I would highly recommend Bisous Beauty Bar and hope to work with them again in the future.
