Kort was so lovely to work with for our wedding cake! From the very first moment, he went over and above in customer service - and was wiling to answer any questions I had (event the ones I asked multiple times)! I love that they use organic butter and eggs and their flavors are AWESOME! Highly recommend for a cake of any occasion.

The cakes was beautiful and all the guests said it was delicious. Even my sister who hates cakes. Bjorn cakes have the best prices in Chicago for top notch quality. And the level of professionalism from the carefully planned and thought out tasting to delivery and communication was superb. I would highly recommend them to any bride looking to receive many compliments on a job well done.

My wife and I share many things in common and that is a sweet tooth. We got married back in November and wanted to channel a sense of autumn into our celebration so we opted for our favorite kind of cake which is carrot cake. We had also wanted to infuse the frosting with a maple flavor as well. We provided these specifics to Kort who was more than happy to oblige. My wife and I weren't hung up on the appearance of the cake, so long as it tasted amazing. So we just went for a plain two-tier cake (about 60 servings) while supplemented with smaller desserts from the caterer. It couldn't have worked out better. We had known what we wanted, but nevertheless Kort provided a thorough and diverse offering in the way of a tasting and still had us choose a few other cake/frosting combos to see if something else might strike our fancy. All the cakes we tried were wonderful, but he really knocked it out of the park with our maple carrot cake. My wife and I weren't so traditional so as to keep some of it to freeze for next year, but after having it at the reception it was so good that we kicked ourselves for not saving more for later. Oh well, guess we'll just have to go back and have more. Thanks again, Kort!

Kort was easy to work with, and made a delicious and beautiful cake. He has many unique flavor options, and is willing to do non-standard combinations (as well as standard wedding flavors). We went with a lemon cake with pistachio buttercream and fresh strawberries. The flavors were subtle and well-balanced. He also did a fantastic job decorating the cake. I would highly recommend Kort for both wedding cakes, and other special occasions.

Kort's cake was superb! We loved working with him and our guests are still raving about it. Kort worked with us to experiment with some flavors and it was a huge hit. He uses high quality ingredients and you can tell!

The cake tasting here was an amazing experience! First, of course - the cakes tasted absolutely amazing! Lemon cake with white chocolate frosting blew my mind. Also, Kort was great to talk to, he listed to what ideas I had and the whole experience from in the door to the follow-ups after were great. Unfortunately, I chose to last minute get married out of the country so I am not able to order from him - but the next time I need a cake, this is absolutely my go to! (its BYOB - so bring some champagne for your experience!)

Searched all over Chicago for a baker that could accommodate my husband's gluten sensitivity. I couldn't find a single one until I came across Bjorn Cakes online. Not only was the baker timely and professional, he was able to make our wedding cake gluten free and it tasted AMAZING. We will be back for every special occasion!

My cake was everything! I gave Kort the picture I wanted for my cake and he killed it. It was classic and beautiful. It was very tasty.

I've had the pleasure of trying several flavors. My favorite is the vanilla with blueberry cake, but the rich chocolate is a close second. I can only say good things. So delicious! Exquisite, really. Not-too sweet; just right. These cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious. Would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The sugar flowers will make you do a double and triple look, and the taste will make you want three slices as well. They make the planning/design process really easy.

I used Bjorn Cakes for my event and I couldn’t be happier about it! Since day one, Kort (the owner) went above and beyond to make us happy! First, he sent us a tasting (delivered to my house, thanks for saving me time!) which included three different types of cakes (talk about commitment to clients!). We loved all theee of them (the lavender filling was to die for), but went with the pistachio and almond flavor. Perfect amount of sugar, not overly sweet, even kids loved it! The cake in itself was beautiful, delivered on time, and with no complications. Doesn’t get more “premium” than that!

Elegant, breath-taking, and absolutely delicious. I have eaten many cakes in my day, and I have never seen or had such a unique one until Bjorn Cakes. The flavor was a creamy vanilla buttercream that melted in my mouth, and filled with just the perfect balance of fresh strawberries and Argentinean Dulce De Leche. The pairing was beautifully aromatic. Artfully prepared, Bjorn Cakes! I will for sure be seeking you out for any occasion that may need a dessert.
