Musicians of the Black & White String Quartet are classically trained with experience performing together for over a decade. They understand the professionalism required for an expert performance and bring a high level of refinement, style, and class. Whether performing for a discerning audience or rocking out with a band, they bring a unique penchant to their music. The Black & White String Quartet offers not only string quartet, but also solo musicians and other ensembles, within the quartet, based on your needs. They will work closely with you to create the perfect atmosphere for your event. If the song you want to hear as you walk down the aisle or share your first dance is not already in their extensive collection, they are happy to offer custom arrangements upon request. The Black & White String Quartet, based in Park City, UT, covers many areas of Utah from Logan to St. George. A travel fee may be required depending on your location.

I met Black and White SQ at a bridal show and I kept it at the back of my mind that this is a great option especially for a garden wedding. Booking process was smooth; Tamra was very responsive and she gave me an extensive list of song options....

I booked the band for 1 hour during ceremony and I wanted prelude to be classical songs and postlude to be contemporary ones. I then gave her 1 song choice that I specifically want it to be played. Everything went smoothly on the day of, and we all enjoyed it. I highly recommend booking with B&W if you want the ceremony to be elevated.

ful in ensuring that what they were playing was what I would want. Our ceremony was a little out of the norm so I think some cues were missed (not sure if they weren't given or what happened), but that was the only thing that didn't go quite right. Booking was easy and communication was quick. I highly recommend hiring!

Tamra Baca

Coordinator

Tamra is only a quarter of what makes the Black & White String Quartet what it is. She happens to be the primary coordinator but our other members Staci, Nicole, and Rebekah are vital members who provide our web and graphic design, sound production, and marketing expertise. We are passionate about performing. We all went to college to do just that and love knowing that our music helps put the finishing touches on something that couples have put so much love and energy into already.
