An absolute nightmare for us trying to plan a 40 person destination reception. We worked with the team for nearly 2 months after touring the space to get pricing and all of our que...
stions answered. They would take days or even weeks to get back to us and everything had to be confirmed with a manager. For two weeks we had been waiting for a contract for a wedding a year out, only for us to notice the timing of our discussed reception was overlapping with golfer access when our family was at one of the restaurants for dinner. We flagged concerns to the team on timing and come to find out we can’t rent the space at all unless we bought out the entire golf course and the pricing they provided us was only for tables & linens. They had additional costs for renting the actual venue that they had not disclosed. They acted like we didn’t ask all the right questions. We had asked for specifics around pricing for time of year, length of the rental, food etc. We went as far to find a coordinator to support with decorating as we had been in the contract phase for quite some time. We planned to have 40 friends and family stay at the resort, golf, use the spa, and host our wedding. Frankly unless you are planning to spend $100k+ I don’t think they want to give you the time of day.  I have never seen a team at a resort this caliber be so incompetent and have such a terrible show of service. If you host your wedding here get everything in writing and record your phone calls. Request the contract immediately so they can’t change policies on you as you sort out the details.
