Black Diamond Gourmet catering has fantastic food and even better employees! My daughter was married in September and chose Black Diamond for the cocktail party, as well as the reception. Patrick, and his crew, didn’t miss a beat! From lighting the candles to packing up the decorations, they did it all. I have already talked to several friends in Breckinridge about use them for their next big gathering. Thanks again Patrick!

We used Black Diamond Gourmet for our daughter’s wedding this past month based on the rave reviews, reasonable pricing, ease of use of their website, variety of options, and friendly service. We worked with Sue Counihan for 2 years since we had to postpone the wedding for a year due to the pandemic. She was incredibly helpful, patient, informative, and attentive to all the details. They were kind enough to honor the pricing on our original contract even though we had to postpone a year. They thoughtfully handled special requests for our guests with gluten allergies, the vendor meals, our ice cream cakes, and a family who had to depart early with toddler but we wanted to have meals. We had our wedding at Silverthorne Pavilion and they were very familiar with the layout and rules, they made sure there were coverings for all tables even in the lobby and the vendor tables, they kept everything neat and clean without removing table coverings until the guests were leaving. They had everything ready on time, were polite, warm, friendly and respectful with all of our guests, and they did a great job of cutting the 8 ice cream cakes we had delviered and getting them out quickly before any melting. We went with an Italian meal and food was quite good and especially loved the seasoned vegetables and garlic bread. Outstanding service and presentation!!

Andre and team did a wonderful job catering our wedding! The food was delicious, and we were happy with the Italian buffet. Andre was very friendly, he and his staff were professional, and they were super accommodating and discreet with dietary restrictions. Plus, it's a wonderful value and not ridiculously expensive like many other caterers. Would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking for the perfect wedding caterer!

Food and service was exceptional! Andre and his team are A+ in the catering industry from the appetizers to the entrees! All of our guests did not leave hungry without a doubt! I cannot recommend Black Diamond Gourmet enough! Andre answered all of our initial questions about menu options and organizing an out-of-state elopement meal and Sue was super responsive and accommodating with our last-minute requests and customizations of the menu. Everyone with BDG were superstars and were willing to work through everything with us. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments on everything.

Really enjoyed working with Black Diamond Gourmet! The food was cooked to perfection, and we had multiple guests comment on how much they enjoyed the food. The flank steak was on point and hand sliced for each guest. Perhaps even better than the food was working with Sue! She was so easy to communicate with, answered every one of my million questions, and seemed to truly care about making sure the day/food was exactly what we wanted. Would absolutely recommend BDG!

Amazing food and amazing service. Black Diamond Gourmet has a huge selection and everything we tried from them at our tasting was delicious, and the day of the food was great. Sue and her entire team at Black Diamond are incredible! They made the process from A to Z soooo easy for us. Sue very kindly met us on a weekend 1.5 years in advance of our wedding, helped us plan the entire menu and about 8 months later, we did the tasting, which was such a fun experience for us. The day of the wedding, her team showed up, had everything running smoothly and provided delicious food. In fact, all of our guests were RAVING about the food quality -- especially the bison (a treat for everyone who was out of town). Not to mention, her team was very attentive to us (the bride and groom) making sure we always had what we needed in terms of food and drink all night. Last but not least, they managed all the cleanup and we didn't have to monitor or micro-manage anything. In short, Black Diamond allowed us to show up and have the time of our lives, without having to worry about whether there were going to be any issues with the food. THANK YOU for playing such a big role in making this day so special for us.

Black Diamond Catering did a fantastic job catering my pre-wedding bridesmaid brunch. Amelia and her crew were receptive to a relatively last minute request for catering (only one week in advance). She helped me develop a nice brunch menu for my bridesmaids and the mothers as we got ready for the wedding. The food was fresh, warm, and delicious. Amelia brought the food over and arranged it beautifully in the kitchen, so we didn't have to worry about the prep and arrangement. Everything from the breakfast burritos to the fresh fruit and pastries to the warm coffee and juice were absolutely perfect. Everyone was pleased, and there was more than enough food to keep everyone satisfied. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for making my wedding day even more special! Would 100% have chosen them again.

The food was great! I was nervous because we couldn't do a testing since we live out of state. A few days before the wedding we were actually told by a bartender in a local bar that Black Diamond was the best and we wouldn't be disappointed. He was right! We were very pleased with the food and service. The professionalism of the staff was perfect. They were on time, they cleaned up, they took care of so much! I am so happy we hired them.

Black Diamond Gourmet was the exclusive caterer for our wedding venue and we could not have been more pleased! We planned our wedding from out of state and appreciated Sue's responsiveness throughout the whole process. Our guests LOVED the food, especially the bison pot roast. 10/10 service and quality.

Black Diamond Gourmet did an incredible job providing delicious food for our welcome dinner and farewell brunch. We would have used them for the wedding reception as well, but the food was a package deal with the venue. Sue was an amazing communicator - she was very prompt in responding to our questions and together we created menus that left our guests thrilled and full! The service staff was very professional and provided a great level of service. We highly recommend them!

From the beginning to the end, Andre was responsive, accommodating, and flexible. He even met us in Denver at our convenience for a tasting. If I had to select one word to describe Black Diamond Gourmet, I would say "OUTSTANDING". From A to Z, our experience with Black Diamond Gourmet was impressive, classy, and of course, delicious. We hired them for our wedding, and it is one of our favorite decisions that we made. We had both been to many weddings, from buffet style to served dinners, and we wanted the served dinner option. We were completely blown away by the level of class and service that Black Diamond presented - way above our expectations, which were set fairly high. Our guests enjoyed steak and trout, were served appetizers from trays being carried around the room, and the staff were even gracious enough to bring our drinks to our tables, which added another classy touch to the night. We worked with Andre and Paul the most and found them both to be superior at what they do. We had a meeting the day before to make sure menu and drink items were all sorted, Paul spent time with our best man (who was with us when we created our drink menu) to make sure the recipes were the best they could be. This was an immense pressure off of our shoulders, allowing us to focus on other things while our friend acted as our proxy. Paul was ridiculously outstanding at the reception, juggling who knows how many things while seeming cool as a cucumber. He also went above and beyond in the days following the wedding, trying, on our behalf, to take care of an unforeseen mini-crisis that came up after we had left for our honeymoon, again working with our best man so as to not bother us with the problem while on vacation. From the little bit of interaction I had with the other staff members (it was a whirlwind of a night), I found them to also be incredibly helpful, sweet and professional. I am seriously impressed with Black Diamond Gourmet; we wanted a classy reception, and they presented something well beyond our expectations. They made us feel like a king and queen, which added just another level of magic to our wedding day. If you are trying to find a caterer in the Breckenridge/Keystone area, I highly recommend taking a serious look at them. Everyone's needs and wants vary, so I won't speak for you - I can just say that I absolutely recommend Black Diamond!

We absolutely loved working with Andre and Black Diamond Gourmet. Our dinner for our wedding is still talked about years later. I didn't know where to start with planning our dinner, he offered great suggestions, and got us on track for an amazing meal. I especially loved that I didn't have to do a thing on my wedding day. Black Diamond Gourmet did a wonderful job at our wedding, above and beyond! For example, when my husband and I walked up to cut our cake we both realized we had forgotten our cake cutter but Andre came to the rescue as quick as he could! The entire catering staff was friendly and accommodating, which we still get raving reviews from our guests. From the tasting to the wedding day Andre's food and team were amazing! I would suggest this vendor to any bride, and have!

Black Diamond Catering handled the food for my wedding and provided the service staff for the bar and for dinner. Andre and his staff did an amazing job, all around! The food was great, the staff was extremely helpful and very professional, and everything went off without a hitch. I got married at a ranch and had to bring everything in myself. Andre and his staff set up all the tables and the buffet. The chairs had to be set up outside for the wedding and then, after the wedding, transferred in for dinner. The staff handled it without anyone even noticing. Again, the food was really good, all the feedback that I received from the guests was great and the bar staff also did a great job. Finally, Andre was great to work with prior to the wedding. He listened to what I wanted and made appropriate suggestions. I never had to tell him anything twice. Overall, I would highly recommend him!

Andre and his team were fabulous! He really cared about making everything perfect and exactly how I wanted it. Not to mention the food was AMAZING! Our tasting alone blew us away and then the compliments poured in when the big day came. Andre was very easy to work with and extremely accomodating. I would recommend him to anyone!

Andre is an amazing cook. We got married in a high mountain meadow (in other words, a bbq picnic area with only electricity available) and Andre made it work! The food was delicious! Andre was also very budget conscious which was wonderful. My only complaint would be that he isn't the best at communicating so before the wedding there were a few times where I wasn't sure we were on the same page. However, the day of the wedding, everything worked out great.

Andre and his staff were amazing! Andre was so accommodating and really worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted for our wedding catering. He was never rude or short with us despite our many requests but always kind. He really worked hard to make sure we were 100% happy. The day of the wedding they set everything up first thing in the morning to ensure everything got done instead of waiting until the last minute and trouble shooting then. Janice, who was head of the waitstaff that night was so nice and helpful, even helping me in the walk in freezer during a moment of high stress so I could have a cool moment to myself to "chill out". She was great! The bartenders were great too and kept my husband and I's drinks full all night long. The food was great, service excellent and price very competitive. Everything went perfectly from the bar and catering stand point. They also catered our rehearsal dinner which was yummy and perfect too. I would use and recommend Andre and Black Diamond in a heartbeat!
