I had a wonderful experience at my hair and makeup trial, my blowout the day before the wedding, and of course, on the wedding day itself. My entire bridal party absolutely loved their hair and makeup, and everyone looked and felt amazing!

as wonderful and really nailed the look I was going for. We had early start times for a multi-day wedding, and all staff arrived on time and ready to go both days. I felt like throughout the process, the company was fairly responsive - although I wished that I had asked for a service timeline earlier than I did with information on when everyone needed to arrive (which may be at the time of service). Both the moms and some bridesmaids opted for services during our multi-day wedding weekend. I do wish I had opted for a more airbrushed look, which was an option. As someone who does not wear much makeup day-to-day, it felt like a lot was on my face — but this was a personal preference and still looked great in the photos. I did opt in for a bridal trial, which was very helpful to make sure I liked how everything looked and stayed. They had a post-trial call to record any changes and feedback, which I really appreciated. Be sure to express your thoughts thoroughly with reference images. In comparison with other companies, I felt that the pricing was also fair!

When booking my trial, Diane reached out to set up a date and time that worked best for me, while also explaining how the trial works and steps I should take to prepare for it. I sent over inspo pictures to help give an idea of what I was looking for, which were directed to my makeup artist, Emma Lou. Emma was a pleasure to work with. She talked through the different steps, getting my ideas and opinions on certain looks. The trial went so well, I had nothing I wanted to change! After the trial, Diane followed up with me to see how it went. At the wedding, we had both Emma and Kyla to do makeup. They absolutely crushed it! Everyone who had their makeup done was so happy with the experience. Emma and Kyla were so kind and took everyone’s ideas and visions into consideration. They worked so well with our timeline too! Nobody felt rushed. All of us girls were obsessed with how our makeup turned out and how well it suited us. I would highly recommend working with Black Swan Beauty, especially Emma Lou and Kyla.
