hew, we were referred to Gabrielle Lennartz from Black Swan Events. She has so much knowledge and experience in multiple types of weddings. She gave us so many ideas and things to decide, thing that we never knew we should've planned. If it weren't for her all those fine details could have potentially ruined our weddings. Gabrielle took what work we had done and fined tuned it and made it a cohesive and wonderful wedding. She referred us to an awesome photographer, Jon from Atelier Photography, and they both built a timeline for our wedding to make sure that every minute was used to its fullest. Thanks to her, our wedding was a great success. We highly recommend Gabrielle to anyone looking to have a professional, wonderful, and smooth wedding on their special day.

During the dress rehearsal and our actual ceremony and reception, Gabrielle truly shined and exceeded my wildest dreams. Our day went off without a hitch, and that was 100% due to Gabrielle working behind the scenes to take care of everything and address any problems or issues. I am sure there were bumps along the way day-of, but I did not have to deal with anything! I had absolutely no stress and was able to be fully present in our special day, and created amazing memories with my now-husband and our friends and family. That would have NOT been possible without Gabrielle. I am a control freak by nature, and my way of managing anxiety is to overplan and overworry. In the case of our wedding, I did not need to do any of that! Gabrielle went through everything with us ahead of time so she knew exactly what we wanted, and she took over day-of and made it a magical, wonderful day. She was careful to build in some "down time" at a few key points throughout the day to give me and my now-husband a chance to relax, breathe, have a bite to eat and rehydrate, and actually spend some time together! She navigated and advocated and did everything I could have ever wanted, and more. You know she excelled because not one single issue came to my attention -- which meant she took care of EVERYTHING. So, from my perspective and our guests' perspective, everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. Gabrielle was worth every penny. I would highly recommend her.

l set up and packed up properly, she coordinated with the caterer and the venue so I didn't have to worry at all that evening. Having that extra help meant more time I was able to spend with my family, friends and husband. She came to my final walkthrough of the venue and had great ideas for the tables layout. Basically she has an excellent aesthetic, she listens to you and she is really good at making sure stuff gets done. Hiring her was a great decision.

Due to Covid restrictions during the early stages of our wedding planning I thought “it’s a small wedding, there will be no need to hire a planner” but that could not be further from the truth, and I was so thankful that Gabrielle was there to help me. However, if you have chosen your own vendors she is more than willing to accommodate and help ease their way as well. One of our main concerns while dealing with COVID was ensuring the guests we invited all felt comfortable and were still able to enjoy their time. Gabrielle thought of everything! we had “social bubble” seating charts, our dinner was served in the most elegant picknik wine baskets, and all of our cutlery and dinnerware was all disposable. Gabrielle went out of her way to source all of these materials and even brought my fiancé and I a trial basket before the big day, Just so we could get a feel of what it would be like for our guests. We called off the original wedding due to COVID and pivoted to an intimate ceremony in my parents backyard -- when I shared this with Gabrielle she gracefully and very quickly supported us in executing a totally new wedding in a matter of 4 weeks. y not be what you thought it would be, but it just might be better. Gabrielle was a partner from the beginning. We always knew that we wanted a wedding redo with an intimate feel and hosted at our home, because when we originally got married we just eloped. She listened to us, and did amazing things with the parameters we gave her. A formal sit down type reception wasn't our style. Gabrielle helped us create a flowing open house reception, which was just perfect for us. The planning process was extensive, from figuring out parking, where and what seating we could have, menus, decorations, and music. She helped us solve every problem and anticipated others before they even happened. Gabrielle has a seemingly endless supply of vendors, all of whom love to work with her, and she had wonderful ideas for getting the most out of our budget. We loved every idea she proposed, and she was so good working with us for tweaking any ideas so they fit for us. We wanted to take a really active role in our planning. Gabrielle completely respected that and worked with us along every step of the planning as well as on the day of the event. Her expertise and guidance allowed us do what we were comfortable with and she handled the rest. Our wedding revisited was exactly what we wanted and we could not have done it without her.

She reviewed each contract and on several occasions kept us from spending extra money in areas where vendors overlapped such as glassware and linens between the rental company and the caterer. She also gave us a ton of great decoration ideas since we were starting with a blank slate in an open field, she threw everything that came to mind out there and we chose or modified her ideas to make a truly beautiful setting. Gabrielle is a go-getting, she gets stuff done! On the day of, she was way ahead of schedule and knew what to delegate to whom in the wedding party to get the decorations assembled, and the flowers from our garden arranged on the tables. Weddings can be stressful, and when we expected the morning to be the worst, we actually found ourselves relaxing with our friends and a drink because it was all taken care of. You only get married once, and we found the best planner for any wedding!
