a bride on her wedding day (after the dress of course!) I'd originally booked my hair & makeup with another local artist & thought i was good to go. Then, due to unexpected complications with another client, that artist had to cancel my services. My wedding was 3 months away & scheduled for one of the busiest times during wedding season (early October). On the recommendation from another artist, I reached out to Black Tie & Blush and explained my situation. A member of their team reached out to me almost immediately & they were able to help me! They requested detailed information from me in order to match me with just the right artist and to make sure they could deliver my vision. I had the pleasure to get to work with Heather and she was AMAZING! She listened to all the ideas I had in mind, gave me multiple options and style ideas and just made the entire process flow so smoothly. As a girl who doesn't wear makeup that often, I was extremely nervous but Heather and the team at Black Tie and Blush helped to alleviate all my fears and made my wedding day that more magical! I cannot say enough good things about them and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Aly emailed with me back and forth and she was so helpful and sweet. Also the responses were rather quick-which I LOVEDDDD!! Kathryn was my assigned makeup artist and she is definitely talented!! Super easy to talk to-not awkward at all! She did a trial for me and my mom and we were pleased! Only thing I would recommend is hiring a second artist even if you donât think or your artist says theyâll be fine. If youâre crunched on time wedding day-go ahead and spend the extra just for a peace of mind for another additional artist. Day of-with all the chaos- I thought it was perfectly blocked out for how long each girl would take based off the information given and we still ran a little behind affecting pictures. Not the end of the world and I love our artist. Just seemed day of to have gone a little slower than the trial(partly my fault cause she would have to pause when I would talk ofc but also in a general aspect). Which we all loved how our look turned out and thatâs all that mattered!! She truly did so amazing and there were lots of compliments! My makeup also did not budge once from what I could tell which is crazy!! I feel bad it got so crazy at the end and I didnât properly thank her or tell her bye but I hope she always knows how appreciative we are of her talents and timeđ¤ overall, we were well pleased and would recommend looking into these girls!

Nicky (hairstylist extraordinaire) is in one word: incredible. From the moment I met her...
after a parking mishap/confusion/delay on my hair trial day, she was kind, patient, delightful, affable, loving, caring and just plain adorable. I think my experience with Nicky was truly God-orchestrated, as I can think of no other way to describe it. We connected immediately as people- which is so rare these days! And even if you do not have a kindred spirit moment/experience as I did, it doesnât matter because she is the absolute best and you will love her and love how she loves you.
She took her time in my trial, listening to every need and desire- and then taking that vision and executing it flawlessly. On the day of the wedding, she was just as wonderful and every single bridesmaid and my make-up artist and the mothers completely loved her as well. Nicky did a fantastic job with all of their hair looks as well- and honestly, we all could not be happier! Did I mention she did all of this with two young children at home?! So basically, Nicky is a hero and cute as a button and you should hire her immediately.
We also thank Black Tie & Blush SO MUCH for finding her for us!!! We could not have done this without Nicky and therefore could NOT have done this without Black Tie & Blush. Aly, with whom I communicated directly regarding all the coordination, payment, etc., was absolutely wonderful. Kind, communicative, RESPONSIVE in a timely manner, and just all-around wonderfully accommodating. We highly recommend! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

o nice to work with, and did a great job on nailing the "natural glam" look I was going for. I chose to do a hair/makeup trial run for myself beforehand and got to discuss what styles I was wanting with both ladies. The day of the wedding, both artists came to us which was very convenient. Regarding makeup, Mandy did a great job with enhancing everyone's looks while still letting their natural beauty shine through. Sarah also worked some magic with styling all our different types of hair lengths and textures. Definitely would recommend using Black Tie and Blush for your next event!

ding day, Sarah was friendly, reliable, professional, and knowledgeable. She was able to take my "rough draft" vision and add her own knowledge and skill to create something beyond what I could have pictured myself. I have always been self conscious about my hair (thin & fine!) and Sarah did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and confident.
On our wedding day, Sarah was on time and made sure to keep us all on track to be done on schedule. She did a great job listening to my bridesmaids and creating beautiful looks on them as well. My hair felt secure and stayed beautiful all night, even in the wind, humidity and heat (not to mention the sweatttttt).
