“Black Tie DJs” for our big day. Betty, who schedules and manages the arrangement is incredibly helpful and kind. Her responses were always quick and focused. As the Point of Contact, Betty takes on the billing and paper work, something she definitely stayed on top of from day one. As you push towards your day, she will keep you up on anything the DJs may need and is incredibly helpful for the numerous questions that start popping up as you get closer to your wedding day.
The DJ for our wedding was Craig! DJ Craig has years of experience, a seemingly unlimited library and a willingness to work with each bride and groom to have their perfect set-up/arrangement/playlist. In the weeks leading up we were a “little” crazy regarding the playlists. Not only was DJ Craig understanding of our fears, when the time came he knew what we wanted better than we did!! This is a man that knows music, how weddings should work from an audio staging perspective and how to get a crowd jumping.
It was a pleasure working with Craig, Betty and Black Tie DJs; this is a company that comes highly recommended and we will in turn recommend to anyone, because couples getting married should strive for the least complicated wedding planning process, and Black Tie DJs are there to do their part.

He was extremely unprofessional, and I was very disappointed. Betty was nice enough and apologetic about the situation but didn't offer any type of resolve.

I had sent Craig a do not play which he devotedly respected (I appreciate!) and paid special attention to notes I left with the ones we really wanted played. We had popular songs, obscure songs - we were all over the spectrum and Craig let it flow seamlessly through the speakers to all our enjoyment. He is very kind and helps keep the bridal party on track too for speeches and pictures and cake (an important part for me - he even led us in the best singing of Happy Birthday to our twin ring bearer and flower girl). We can't say enough good things about Craig and the Black Tie DJs - they were the best choice and I can honestly say I had the best time at my own wedding and boy did I dance.!!!! (After our kiss we came down the ceremony aisle to Modern English's "I Melt With You" and that set the tone for the party to come.

Between our bridesmaids walking out and him switching to the song for myself, he almost played the rest of the song, it made for a very awkward moment, and I was already stressed. Then, for our recessional, he did not start our exit song until my husband and I were almost half way down the aisle...the song should have started immediately following the kiss...again, a very awkward few seconds where we were walking down the aisle with no music. The reception went well, however, the ceremony music was incredibly important to me and I will say I was disappointed.

y were really supportive and encouraging of anything we needed. On the day Craig was a fantastic presence and coordinated well with our venue and photographer. We had supplied our music choices plus a few others and Craig managed to capture the exact vibe we were hoping for. Our guests have commented that they haven't been to a wedding in years where everyone was dancing the majority of the time, and it was a hot day! The wrong version of our final song of the night was played, it is a Scottish tradition to play this song so I think the only ones that noticed would have been me and the few Scottish guests. It didn't put a damper on anything and we ended the night on a high. We still think Craig was a great choice and are happy we went with Black Tie DJs.

a pleasure to work with and made the planning process simple. We were able to have a phone meeting with him to go over all of our song requests. We were provided with an entire outline of our music and timeline for our ceremony/reception. On our wedding day we were given a CD of both our ceremony and reception music which was an awesome gift to have! Many of our guests commented on how awesome Chuck was and how he kept the party going the entire night! The dance floor was full the entire night and we would have kept the party going all night if we could. We definitely recommend Black Tie DJs to everyone!

the DJ was so in tune with his audience. My dad thinks that the DJ would notice that the group dancing was getting tired and would change up the type of music, ushering in a fresh crowd. And that process went on all night!
We had DJ Craig, which was recommended from a close friend. I would definitely recommend him to anyone asking.
