ouch. We had first met Rich at an open-house wedding event and were impressed with his service. We worked directly with him to choose out our music and develop the schedule of events. There were extra things we wanted to do, such as the Money Dance and the Shoe Game, which Rich was more than happy to accommodate. He arrived on time for our wedding and surprised us by setting up lights that matched the color of our wedding to light up his booth. Overall, he was a great DJ and I would use him again if the chance arose.

The set-up was perfect, the song selection was perfect, the lights were perfect, his timing of events and flow were excellent, the cocktail hour and dinner music was very tasteful and appropriate, and best of all, the dance floor was PACKED the entire night…Ross was simply outstanding and he knocked it out of the park! All our guest were all interactive and had a blast. Till this day, 8 days after the wedding, our guests keep calling and letting us know they had so much fun! tt, was fantastic. 1) Music – Black Tie has a great selection of music to choose from for events and they worked with us to ensure that music for our special moments (bridal procession, first dance, etc.) was perfect. He was able to take our song list and provide all of the right music at the right moments. 2) Time Management – With all that happens in a wedding it would be easy to get behind schedule. Brett did a great job helping us manage the flow of the reception to ensure that announcements were made at the right times and that we wrapped up on time. 3) Reasonable Pricing – It is easy to see costs rapidly soar when planning a wedding so staying within budget is important. Black Tie Events pricing was reasonable and helped us to stay on budget. I would very much recommend Black Tie Events for any future event needs.

rom the very start everyone was up dancing and I don't think I ever left the dance floor. We had an amazing time! He also provided our ceremony music and it was perfect! Thanks BTE!

layed three minutes into our ceremony and a few mic scratches throughout. We paid extra to have a speaker outside for the reception and it was not placed outside; we had a pre-meeting with Rich; another DJ did our event and it was as if the two didn't talk through the transitions from the pre-meeting-- we had to cue the firsts (dances, etc) in the moment. Songs were not cued timely, so in the first 30 minutes there were several pockets of silence as our DJ was setting up the next song. I had heard great things about this company, but our experience was inconsistent. I did reach out to the owner, Rich, but he never returned my call back.

dance floor moving all night! BTE has forms to fill out that help with both the ceremony and reception planning. We filled those out and the categories of music that we'd like to have played. Brett did a great job of picking from that list and mixing in other songs that fit. I think there were people on the dance floor all night long, which is exactly what my husband and I wanted. I highly recommend Black Tie Events for any occasion. Rich was incredibly pleasant and professional to deal with and he made sure we were in good hands with Brett. nd answer all of my questions. As for choosing my song list, it was seamless! They even have an app that you can download and listen to clips of music to help with your selection. Then you just send them your list via the app. It was so easy and way better than printing out lists to highlight and type back up. Way to stay current on technology. Love it! My DJ for the night was Brett. He was fabulous! We were very specific with the type of music we wanted played, and he executed perfectly! He knew exactly what to play to get everyone out on the dance floor (including my grandparents)! It was so much fun. All my guests couldn't stop talking about how good the music was. He did outstanding. Really made the party so much fun. Thanks guys!

Also, about 2 weeks prior to our big day, I had a phone meeting with DJ Rich to discuss logistics. I honestly had no clue what kind of music I wanted during our ceremony, and he took the time to give suggestions, and everything turned out perfectly! He is a pro at what he does, and if you are unsure about any music styles, he will offer his experience to make sure any music fits your exact wedding style. DJ Rich made our entire event run smoothly and flawlessly. The songs he played fit the mood of the night. He kept the crowd dancing all night! He even worked with our photographer to get everyone out on the dance floor for a group photo, which then led into a song that got everyone dancing! (Our guests kept commenting on how much they loved that tactic!) Our guests said over and over that our wedding was the "most fun" wedding they had ever been to, and a huge part of that goes out to DJ Rich and Black Tie Events! Highly recommended!!

g and e-mailing us several times a day to try to get our business. That wasn't the case with Black Tie - they provided us the information in a timely matter, and followed up only when appropriate. They worked with us on adding an extra cocktail hour speaker, extra time, and uplighting at reasonable to no cost. As for selecting the music, they provide a large song list on their website where you can pick as few or as many songs as you would like (including add ons that you might not see on their list). A week before the wedding, we had a phone call with them to go over all the last minute details. They were very flexible when we had a couple last minute requests that week. Brett arrived an hour early to set up, and stayed afterwards to tear everything down. He really kept the party going!! I can't say enough good things about this company and how efficient and professional they are. I highly recommend Black Tie Events!!

Especially all of the foreigners that have never been to an American wedding before. They had to create a great party!
