Mike was an absolute gem to have as our Videographer. Kind, Caring, Courteous, and Professional. The Instant Replay video wowed our guests, and we couldn't be happier with our Wedding Video. So thankful. Thank You Mike!

Mike is absolutely amazing. Our Instant Replay video was a highlight of our wedding - guests were so impressed at the ability for Mike to put together such a heartwarming video to be played prior to our entrance at the reception. Everyone was in tears! Mike was so easy to work with throughout the whole process and he captured our day beautifully! We've received our two short edited versions of our video and cannot wait to receive the long version! We watch them over and over.

This videographer is amazing!! The same day edit is phenomenal. I saw this at a wedding years ago and remembered it for my wedding. So many of my guests commented on it. The video was the highlight of the wedding! Mike and Elizabeth are so great to work with from the planning to the actual day. Very professional, highly skilled, personable and easy to work with. Black tie video was mentioned to us through a co-worker. Initially, we didn’t think we needed a video to capture our day. Upon meeting with Mike, he showed us his past videos and they blew us away. What separates Mike from the rest: 1) The Instant Replay- The day of the wedding, he captures all footage leading from the beginning through the ceremony. The addition of the couples past pictures creates an “instant replay” of their life and day of video. Ask to see an example and you’ll understand why we went this route. Simply, the “instant replay” is an additional cost but WORTH IT. It was and still is something about our entire wedding day that people still comment on. You won’t be disappointed. 2) professionalism- mike knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. If you have a vision, he can make it happen. 3) quality- mike uses the most state of the art technology. my video in its entirety was back within 1-2 months. It was unbelievable.

Ok ok... I'm still waiting on my actual DVD... but Black Toe Video did a great job working our wedding. In less than 2 weeks we received our highlight video, and I absolutely love it! I think I've watched it about 10 plus times already. I am SO glad we ended up going with Black Toe Video as our videographer!

My Husband and I's decision to hire a videographer was a last minute one - as in, we decided about a week or 2 before our wedding. I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions we made through our planning process. We received our full hour and a half video a week or so ago and we can't stop watching it and sharing it with family and friends. We went for the full, "lightly edited" film and it exceeds any expectation that I had. It seems fully edited in my option - It's amazing!! What's even better is Mike can still make us a highlight film if we decide we want one. If you're questioning whether or not to hire a videographer I suggest just doing it. Black Tie Video was amazing to work with. They were very responsive to all questions I had and made the planning process easy. The instant replay that Mike made to be played before our entrance into the reception was absolutely FABULOUS!!! The guest were so impressed with how he was able to put the whole thing together in such a short amount of time and included same day video clips. People are still talking about it!! Darren and I got married 10/1/16, when we were first planning we decided we were not going to have a video. How quickly this decision changed when I saw a friends wedding video and highlight from Black Tie Video. Mike was so easy to work with and accommodated every thought and and idea of ours. Our videographer was Brian who captured every emotion of our perfect day. Our final Highlight ended up being 12 minutes long and was so beautiful. They replayed the whole day in such a breathtaking way, I watch the highlight almost everyday. Such a big thank you to Mike and Brian and the whole Black Tie Video crew for doing such an amazing job and giving the gift to relive the best day of our lives over and over again.

My husband and I were beyond pleased that we had black tie video record our wedding day. Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. He was quick to reply to any emails and phone calls and was very reassuring that everything would go smoothly on the big day. I can honestly say that the day of, I did not even notice Mike and his assistant filimg yet they caught every moment that I could have asked for. Pictures only go so far. Black Tie Video was the best decision made! As mother of the bride it was very important to me to capture every moment of the wedding. I saw it the first time 20 years ago at my cousin's wedding and I knew I had to hire them for my daughter's wedding. It was a huge hit with everyone!

Mike was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. We did the "day of video recap" option where he does a review of the things that happened already that day and plays it at the opening of the reception. So many people have told me how much they loved that. It is worth the extra money. Our final video cam out beautiful. There isn't even words to describe how incredibly happy my husband and I are with our wedding video. From day one Mike was one of our favorite vendors to deal with ..I knew that no matter what we had to have black tie do our wedding videography- I was even wiling to change my date to make sure we secured him. Mike was amazing to work with; his work speaks for itself. Even being there with a camera - we never actually felt that the camera was in our faces. He is so discrete but catches every important moment. Everyone who attended our wedding can't stop talking about the instant replay video that played before we were introduced. Video was standard, nothing special. Hard to get in contact with. Could have used another videographer and gotten the same quality but with a much lower pricetag.

I can't even begin to say how pleased I am with Mike Callahan from Black tie. He went above and beyond for me. He did an instant replay before our if entrance as mr and mrs and it had a slide show of all our baby pictures and then went into the earlier part of the day getting ready to walking down the aisle. Totally amazing. I'm so happy with it. I haven't seen our 5/6 min trailer yet or the actual video of ceremony and day footage but I can't imagine if he did this in only an hour how amazing the rest I can't wait to see it. Black Tie Video was the best choice we made for our wedding reception! We originally didn't think we wanted to spend the money on a videographer with our budget and having other places we wanted to put our money.. we are SO happy that we did. Mike was amazing to work with and the video trailer has been the most amazing thing to show our family and friends. Where to start!!! When I was looking for a videographer, I knew what I was looking for. Someone who can give me a good quality video that would capture all the little moments that I am sure I wouldn't remember. I wanted someone who could see my vision and turn it into a story. I also very importantly wanted someone who was willing to give me the raw footage of my day. You will be surprised to how many companies no longer do this or think people don't want it. I did, I wanted to see everything that I as a bride didn't get to. So I found black tie who was recommended to me, I met Mike (the owner) and I can't say enough good things about him, he is the sweetest man, he was as excited about my wedding as I was and I loved that, made me feel like I could just trust him with what I thought would be the most important memory of that day. I chose to go with their "Instant Replay" in addition to my package. Mike took what I wanted and turned into this amazing 5 minute video at my reception that had everyone crying and a month later still talking about! All I did was supply him with pictures, music choices and he did the rest. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE at my reception LOVED it! So within a few days, he sent me the link to that video for me share. Then just a short 4 weeks later I got my highlight video which included the instant replay and a highlight of the entire night (about 13 minutes long) it was even more incredible, the video is absolutely amazing! We have watched it over and over again, it takes me from crying to laughing, back to crying...between the music and matching the details, capturing facial expressions, dancing moves to the words of the songs...this was the best investment from my wedding day! I still did not receive my edited 60-90 minute video, but I have no doubt at all that the video will be even more amazing! My husband and I are beyond happy with Mike's service! Did I mention that Mike shot my wedding all by himself?He did and yes... he is that amazing! He brought a helper for the instant replay only but all the shooting credits goes to Mike! I am a very happy bride :)

Mike, the owner of Black Tie Video, was amazing to work with! When my fiance and I met with him, he was so comfortable and so accommodating. I had an idea to include clips of my 2nd grade students giving me advice into my replay video and he did it! The replay video was played at my own reception with those clips, pictures of my fiance and I as babies and then older, and then even clips of us getting ready and having the ceremony!! My guests were so fascinated by the video and how he was able to include clips from that day! Black Tie Video even sent us a link to it 3 days after!! Mike worked so hard to put the video together and it was amazing! He was there to shoot every part of our special day. It truly was a fairytale. I can't wait to see our final video so I can relive it again!!!

We used mike as our wedding videographer. He was professional and very nice. He is so amazing and his work is spectacular. We can jot wait to see out video but during the ceremony and reception he was so diligent and made sure to get all the details if our wedding. We regret that we have to write this poor review having had high expectations for Black Tie Video. We contracted with BTV to provide services for a complete video of our ceremony. We gave the owner very specific instructions about what we wanted including where to stand in the chapel, when to turn the groom's mike on/off, to be as non-instrusive of our guests as possible, and not to go on the altar (it is prohibited by the church and we wanted to respect the sacredness of this religious space). However, the videographer did not abide by these agreements (which we had made with the owner well in advance of the wedding). The footage we received was high quality, yet it missed key parts of the ceremony, including the blessing of the rings, several hymns, and prayers. The videographer also walked onto the altar during our vows, disrespecting not only a sacred space but our wishes. Finally, we had asked that the videographer stand in one place, yet he moved throughout the service, including asking ONE OF OUR PARENTS to move from the aisle so he could shoot the procession. When we received the video, it included voice feed from the groom's mike throughout the second half of the service. We explained our situation to the owner who responded with a new video without the voice feed. Because there was no complete footage of the ceremony, he was never able to provide us with a complete video, as we had contracted.

I had Brian as my videographer and he did my "instant replay" and let me tell you this was my most favorite thing from my wedding! He was so creative and just so awesome that so many people raved about the video! This is a must have!!

My sister and sister-in-law used this videographer for their weddings, and I knew I had to do the same. We had two videographers tape us getting ready, the ceremony and reception. You don't even realize that they are there. I can't wait to see the final product!

This is the second time we used this videographer! Once for my sisters wedding and now for mine and they keep on impressing us! Some really creative ideas for your entrance to the wedding that will WOW your guests. Incredibly professional and efficient. You can't put a price on the amazing memories they will capture for you!!!

I had Black Tie Video as my Videographer at my wedding, and the only time I even knew they were there was when my husband had a mic on him during our ceremony, don't get me wrong it was very discreet and nobody knew he was even wearing it!! I have not yet received my video because it takes up to three weeks, and my wedding was just two weeks ago. I have however reviewed their website and have seen what they have done, and the video's they make are so touching and special and almost brought me to tears watching others!! Nevermind when I get to see my own and re-live my day over and over! They do a 1st edit, and send you a work sheet to fill out with it so you can add your own special music and special touches to it for them to add or remove, and once they're done with that edit, you get a total of 4, yes 4 final edits........so you can make your family happy by giving mom and dad each a copy, which I know my father will love as I am his only daughter! The best part was they were so discreet, they were not in the way, or in your face......yet they capture all these amazing moments. I would definitely check them out if you're looking for a videographer for your special day!

Black tie was very professional and organized. They were on time, and you didn't feel like they were bothering you the whole time. They got a lot of moments I missed and I am so happy I had a videographer. They are on the pricey side- but I do think you get what you pay for....
