Black Tulip was born out of my many years of artistic exploration and my belief that your words should look just as beautiful as they sound. By combining my art background with my passion of hand lettering and calligraphy I'm able to push the boundaries of written script. I love taking a wild dream and turning it into a reality!
Beyond Black Tulip, I pour my whole heart and mind into every creative endeavor I pursue, not because I'm a perfectionist (ok, maybe I am...) but because I'm very passionate about making things.

Stephanie worked diligently on a one of kind piece in time for my grandmother's (who is currently battling breast cancer), birthday. It was extremely important to me that she have something to give her words of encouragement every morning, and Stephanie did not disappoint. My grandmother opened it with tears in her eyes. I gave Stephanie full reign in creating something truly magical and I cannot wait for her to do more projects in the future.
