There isn't enough words to describe this location that we used for the reception. Blackbarn from the initial consultation to viewing went above and beyond to make our reception for our wedding special. I couldn't recommend them enough. They answered all questions timely, supported the process from end to end and made the day go without any problems. Ill start from Justine who helped us with the event coordination. There wasn't an email that wasn't addressed. The suggestions and catering to make the day was fantastic. The taste test for the food. - The chefs and staff that work here are absolutely amazing. The dedication to their food and passion is truly evident within every meal we had. On the day- The staff and chef! wow was an amazing delivery. The room was beautifully delivered but the service on the day was beyond expectations. We loved the food, the drinks were flowing and there was not an item overlooked! I can't wait to go back to eat at the restaurant again!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my wedding at BLACKBARN restaurant, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! From the staff and service to accommodations, they exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for an added level of hospitality and personal touch, I highly recommend John and his entire team at BLACKBARN!

Working with Justine was lovely! BLACKBARN is a beautiful venue and really made the entire planning process effortless for us from start to finish. Everything from the staff which were amazing and so thoughtful and the amazing food and personal touches from the chef made our day really special!

Blackbarn was everything my husband and I were looking for in a wedding venue - delicious food, attentive staff, beautiful venue, great location, etc. Justine and Jadelyn (Events & Marketing team) accommodated our EVERY need and were extremely flexible to make sure our wedding was everything we envisioned. They said yes to everything we asked and when it was outside the scope of their team, they were creative about finding solutions for us (like fitting a larger band than originally planned, letting us build a chuppah onsite, and adding an extra table last minute). We wanted it to feel like a big dinner party in the city, and that's exactly how it felt - our friends and family continue to rave about the food by their chef, Brian Fowler. It was not wedding food... it was a delicious and creative family style meal. People are still talking about the mushroom toast and orrechiette. Justine and Jade are both extremely well organized and responsive. They were there for us from A to Z while we planned (over 7 months). We visited the venue many times to tour the space, try the food, create a signature drink... and sometimes just to listen to the jazz band and have a delicious meal. Everyone at Blackbarn goes above and beyond to make the experience excellent - all the way from the owner (John Doherty, who met with us during our tasting) to the bartenders (special shoutout to Juan to helped us create our signature cocktail and was there on our wedding night). We love Blackbarn and are excited to spend many anniversaries to come with them.
