uren and Deb promised to decorate before the bride and wedding party got there Saturday, since there was a wedding going on Friday night that made it impossible to decorate ourselves. They (Lauren and Deb) said to bring all of our decor and multiple times reassured us that “we’ve got this, we’ve been doing weddings together for 10 years”. The bride specified what she had and what her vision was while the ladies wrote notes. The decor was NOT out but rather still in boxes shoved under tables. They were no where to be found. A parent, usher, and one attendant scrambled to set out what decor they could before pictures. Not all of it even made it out of boxes. Regarding outdoor decor, none of even basic decorations were set up. No bows were put on the end of the rows, empty vases where the floral decor should have been. A parent, the DJ, and an usher set up the table outdoors and assembled decor where the bridal party stood. 2) Organization/staff leadership. The bride and others ended up trying to direct the flow of everything. Prior to start of ceremony we could not locate 2 grandmas. They were told by Lauren to wait downstairs, and in fact a bartender gave us directions to line up upstairs. After ceremony NO STAFF directed wedding party where to go so we went in building upstairs. Most guests were downstairs and some came upstairs so parents and others directed guests to not come in where bride was yet. Once staff appeared they had to push guests out of the building in the lower level outside to walk around to front entrance of building as wedding party had to rush downstairs. Chaotic- guests were everywhere not knowing where to go. 3) Unprofessional. Prior to start of grand March (while bride and groom were still outside for sunset pics) Deb was attempting to have wedding party to line up. As I personally came down the stairs I witnessed Deb screaming at them “I’ve had enough! I’m ready to just leave you all on your own to figure this out”. My husband helped her capture their attention by clapping. She then stopped her telling. Her voice certainly carried to the top of the stairs where guests were. I was floored at how unprofessional this was. There were COUNTLESS times throughout the evening where neither one of them could be found to answer a question. Although the bartender Abby was very nice. 4) Drinks. We had 2 kegs and one on reserve. By the time the dinner started we were being asked to pay for 3rd keg. Couldn’t believe the others had run out so soon, until a couple people noted that as they filled up keg glasses they just kept the lever on in between getting glasses so beer was literally going down the drain. Food was good though. Blackberry Ridge did NOT deliver on all of their promises and all that they were paid for. Thousands of dollars wasted.

From the moment you are interested in this venue, they are incredibly personable in sitting you down, hearing your vision, and going through the logistics (especially pricing) for your day. Our engagement was 2 years long, and yet anytime I had a question for Blackberry, a response was always given and more. Leading up to our event, Blackberry was there to support when needed, give reminders for when Wedding Brain is chaotic, and give advice if you need it! My favorite part of my wedding weekend was talking through day of logistics with the Blackberry staff, they wanted to know all the information or who to go to for questions because they didn't want to bother us all day. FUN FACT, we did not get bothered once for questions day of!! It was so nice to sit back and enjoy the day. Staff reminds you to soak in the joy and love from your family and it is truly amazing. I cannot thank Blackberry enough for everything that they did on our wedding day. The number of celebrations and even compliments from guests on the venue was so heartwarming. d in the premium package so we wouldn’t have to worry about decorating or cleanup on our wedding day. Jeanne (the evening event captain) was a godsend as well. By the time of our final meeting two days before our wedding I was stressed out to the max by other wedding and work details but one talk with Jeanne and I honestly felt like a huge weight had been lifted. The food was also delicious, and we also were able to have our rehearsal dinner there the night before. Candyce was also always available to answer any of the multitude of questions we had, and even got our not-very-communicative DJ to finally respond. If I could give Candyce, Jeanne, and everyone at Blackberry more than 5 stars I would!!

The day of went so smoothly, we received so many compliments on the food and the atmosphere and the fun bartenders! Everything was exactly how we envisioned our day and we can't thank the team at Blackberry Ridge and the great group of vendors they work with, for making it all happen!

Candyce was extremely helpful and informative every step of the way, she got back to us promptly every time. The food here is INCREDIBLE! It's not your basic wedding dried chicken breast, Our guests RAVED about the food and so did we. Everything was accessible right there. I didn't have to search for bartenders, or caterers it's all in house and incredible staffing. They were very upfront about costs and additions you can do, giving us an estimate right away that ended up being very close to what our total was. Candyce also helped make sure everything ran super smoothly. We were able to have makeup and hair done there in the bridal suite. In the morning they did have golfers there downstairs but they were kept away for the ceremony and reception. I highly recommend BlackBerry to anyone looking for an "Easy Button" like we were while keeping things beautiful and classy. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and so much more!

Every time I had a question or thought I reached out to Candyce and she always responded right away with anything I needed. Our guests could not stop talking about the food (get the beef medallion, you won't regret it). Blackberry Ridge is a great and affordable place to host a wedding!

We definitely recommend taking the golf cart out for some sunset photos if possible! They also provided us a list of preferred vendors in the area that made planning a breeze. rst venue tour and booked immediately after! The ground are absolutely beautiful for an outdoor ceremony and pictures! The indoor reception was perfect for us- gorgeous area with a central bar. Even better- they did all our decorating and clean up for us! The food was beyond amazing- we had the chicken parm and shrimp linguini. We were able to try a ton of dinner options beforehand at a tasting! Blackberry made our day exactly how we wanted it and as easy going as possible. We got so many compliments from guests on the venue, food, and service! We can't recommend them enough!

selected a better venue! Even with the uncertainties of COVID, Candyce (wedding coordinator), and staff addressed every concern and worked to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams! Creativity and problem solving included moving the dance party outside to Blackberry's new outdoor patio to ensure our guests had more room to socially distance both inside and outside. Moving the dance outside on the patio was a phenomenal and really fun solution! The move outside allowed for guest who desired more space to spread out along the edges of the patio or stand up on the balcony but still be apart of the festivities. The outdoor dance also provided ample amount of room for guests who wanted to dance the night away! Accommodations pleased all and, most importantly, provided a safe way for our relatives and friends to join us on our incredibly beautiful and special day. Thank you Blackberry staff for memories that will last a lifetime!!

. There were a few bumps and miscommunications along the way but neither us as a couple, or Blackberry as a business had experienced the challenges that came along with COVID-19 before. Patience and understanding were a huge part of the planning process. At the end of it all, we made a plan and stuck to it. They knew the most important thing to us at the end of the day was to get married. They made sure that happened one way or another, the best it possibly could. The day ended up perfect in the end. I wouldn't change a thing! Blackberry is a beautiful venue, reasonably priced, and great to work with.

They always got back to us very quickly and answered our many questions that we had. The venue was perfect for our size and romantic feel of our wedding and easily converted to a gorgeous venue inside when the weather didn’t cooperate. It is a truly gorgeous and unique venue! Lastly, the food, THE FOOD was amazing-we got tons of compliments on the hot and delicious meal that our guests were served! I am so grateful to Sonja and Jeanne from Blackberry Ridge for making our day amazing!

who is the most organized, bubbly, and sweet woman who helps answer any and all questions from the moment you set up a tour through your wedding day. Jeanne is the second coordinator who you work with during the final walkthrough and she is present during your entire wedding day to ensure everything is flawless. They are an incredible team and the fact that they offer full set-up and take down of all decor is AMAZING! I didn't have to spend over a thousand dollars on a wedding coordinator or ask family or friends to be decorating because the Blackberry team did it all. They have so many fun add-on's that truly makes the space yours, but it is already so beautiful you don't need much to decorate. Very affordable for all that you get as well! A gorgeous bridal suite where you can have champagne delivered to your bridal party, amazing food, beautiful set-up and balcony and the most wonderful people make this place a ten!

ing go perfectly! Food was AMAZING! Locations is beautiful. We did pictures outside on the golf course. They let us take a golf cart for free and gave us recommendations on great picture spots. They were accommodating with everything I asked. Every email was replied to quickly and precisely. No hidden costs, prices very reasonable and competitive. We hired them to do our decorating and cleanup and that was well worth it. They stayed up into the early morning hours the night before and were back bright and early to get the place looking just how I had dreamed. They had everything cleaned up and boxed up the next morning for us. Best money ever spent. Beautiful renovated bridal suite. I could go on and on but I will conclude with Blackberry Ridge is absolutely the best place to get married and have and will continue to recommend this place as a wedding for any couple!
