Blackbird Bakery was exactly what we needed. They were super helpful and affordable, delivered our desserts without a hitch, and it was all super tasty! 10/10 would hire again!
Blackbird Bakery was the sweetest addition to our wedding team! We did a 9” wedding cake and then treats for a sweets table for the rest of the guests at the reception. Abby was great to work with, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. We did the cakesicles, brownies, lemon bars, and macaroons, and everything was delicious! Our only regret was not ordering more treats so we could take some home, the dessert table was cleared out by the end of the night! Blackbird Bakery is full of wonderful treats and staff, and we cannot recommend them enough for any event!
Abby went above and beyond for our wedding with a gorgeous (and seriously delicious) wedding cake as well as some divine chocolate chip cookies for our guest favors. Not only was the entire tasting and booking process seamless, Abby was incredibly flexible with our requests and delivered perfectly for our day with no hassle. I would recommend all engaged couples to use Blackbird Bakery for their big day!

Abby is amazing!!! She did desserts for our wedding at Mercantile Hall and our guests were raving about good the desserts were. We did an almond flavored wedding cake and a dessert bar with lemon tarts, fruit tarts, funfetti cakesicles, chocolate oreo cake shooters and vanilla raspberry cake shooters. She was so wonderful to work with and very responsive. Also, love that on your 1 year anniversary she’ll make you a mini cake!! So glad that Abby and her team

We hired Blackbird bakery for our wedding on 6/29/24. We had our cake tasting with Abby and she helped us figure out how much we needed and what we would like. Everything was a very smooth process upon booking with her for the wedding. The cake turned out wonderful and everything was delivered to our venue at the expected time we discussed. We did a two tier cake for cutting and then had sheet pans of 3 different cake flavors. I wish I remembered to eat them all on the day of but it was delicious! Would recommend this bakery to others :)
We has such a wonderful time working with Blackbird Bakery! Our wedding cake was beautiful and they were so accommodating to our schedule and even offered delivery services. After our wedding, a lot of our guests came up to us to tell us how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it was! 10/10 would recommend!
We reached out to Blackbird with only two weeks until our wedding and they were able to make our vision come to life! We only wanted a small, white wedding cake, but we also wanted to provide a small cake for each of our guests to enjoy with us during the cake cutting! Not only was it incredibly reasonable in cost but it was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!!

Our guests loved all of our desserts! The night of our wedding all of our guests had talk about where we got everything and we told them we got them from the Blackbird Bakery. They were truly easy to communicate with and to make an appointment to try their different desserts. They were also very sweet and helped us picking what we think would look best in our venue. They also have an option to have them deliver and set up. We choose this option which was a great option. She has set up everything so perfect! Would definitely recommend!

I went through Blackbird Bakery for our wedding and loved every second of it! Abby was super accommodating once i had learned later on that i had a gluten sensitivity. We got multiple comments throughout the night about how good the dessert was! Very easy to work with, everything is delicious, and Abby herself is very nice! We will definitely be back for casual visits whenever we are in the area. 😊 i can’t recommend Blackbird Bakery enough!
We used Blackbird Bakery for our wedding cake and they delivered. It was everything we wanted and tasted phenomenal on top of that. I worked with Abby Wilson who made the entire process so easy, from designing the cake to payments. She was great! We absolutely cannot wait to go back, not only for some delicious treats, but for a small cake on our one year wedding anniversary! Thank you for being amazing. Happy overall that we choose Abby to make our wedding cake & cakesicles! We received so many compliments on the cakesicles. My only complaint is that the cake was not supplied in a box that fit the cake. When my parents picked up the cake they expressed concern that the box would not close as it was too small for the cake. When they asked for a different sized box, they were told there was not another one. Ultimately it was difficult to fit my cake inside of the fridge and the icing got smudged because of the incorrect sized box.

Abby was fabulous!! The cake and desserts we chose were delicious, and she was sooo easy to work with! On the wedding day she slid in and out and knew what she was doing. Couldn’t have asked for a better baker for our special day!
Blackbird was a dream for our wedding! It’s nearly impossible to choose your wedding dessert menu because everything is so delicious. I loved all of the variety they offer so you’re sure to find something for all of your guests. And their local delivery and setup makes the day of so easy!
Abby was very professional and helped us bring our vision to life. She was very patient with my husband and I as we finalized the order. She gave ideas that helped us stay within our budget. The desserts were very tasty and my guests ate every single dessert. I would work with Abby again, she made everything so easy and stress free for our big day!
We absolutely loved working with BlackBird Bakery for our 8/12 wedding! Abby was amazing, so professional, quick to respond and overall just a joy to work with. We had an 8 inch cutting cake and then did cakesicles, fruit tarts, brownies and cake bites for a dessert table. all of the desserts were excellent and all of our guests were raving about how delicious everything was. Abby also did a tasting for us which was so much fun and a great way to have all of our questions answered in person. I would recommend Blackbird Bakery to anyone!
From the beginning Abby was great to work with! She helped lay out all of our options, helped guide us on the cake decorations, and helped determine an appropriate number of desserts to have for our initial guest amount. When the date of the wedding was closer, she was very flexible with the change in guest count. Overall, the desserts were a complete hit! Everyone loved them! The cakesicles were gone in minutes and as soon as the cake was cut that was gone as well! Abby provides not just great artwork, but delicious artwork at that! We have definitely become customers for life!
Abby was so nice to work with! She helped me figure out what size and style would be best for our budget and our tastebuds. The cake was everything we wanted, and so delicous! We even got a special cupcake for my father-in-law's birthday which made the moment even more special. Thank you again!
Blackbird Bakery was wonderful to work with. Abby made us an Almond wedding cake and if you have never tried almond cake I 100% recommend it!! The cake was perfect and we will be getting all our future cakes from Blackbird.
Abby was fantastic to work with for our big day! We had peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies made for our dessert table and they were to die for. They were so soft, and delicious that the 12 dozen cookies were gone by the end of the night. Communication with Abby was a breeze, and she hand delivered our cookies to our venue the morning of the wedding. I've had numerous other desserts from Blackbird Bakery, and everything is top notch. No matter what kind of dessert you are after, Abby will not disappoint.
Abby did a wonderful job at creating the most beautiful and delicious cake we would've ever imagined! I gave her a few ideas of what I was looking for in regards to the design and she exceeded my expectations! The guests raved about the cake as well :)
The best bakery you could choose! Our wedding cake was so beautiful and delicious! We also had cupcakes for the guests and there were barely any left, they were a massive hit. I high suggest Blackbird Bakery, all of her work is amazing but especially for your wedding day. She is very personable and quick to respond.
Abby was PHENOMENAL!!! We wanted a small simple cake just for cutting, but she took every detail seriously! She had excellent communication skills and everything tasted amazing!
