ive, responsive, and a great energy to be around. Heather and her assistant captured our day wonderfully and weeks later, we received online access to our photo gallery. Unfortunately, this wonderful experience quickly turned into a very negative one, where Heather dropped the ball and seemingly did not feel an obligation to properly communicate with her client. Although we received access to our online gallery, we waited to receive our USB. Early November, I reached out and asked for an update on the USB. Heather stated that our addressed USB had been “sitting in a pile” and would be mailed that day. I waited 3 weeks until I contacted again, concerned the item had been lost in the mail. I was informed she actually did not have my address (although she stated it was addressed and ready 3 weeks earlier) and would be willing to drop the item of to my relatives house (as I am located out of town) that same week. I was growing impatient, but still had confidence that she would deliver on her word. Fast forward more than a week later, The USB was not delivered and Heather was non responsive to texts and calls. I grew concerned and impatient, especially since I am very understanding and simply wanted to know that although my wedding day had concluded, my business and satisfaction were STILL important until our contract was fulfilled. Simple communication would have surely kept my awesome wedding photography experience, awesome. Unfortunately, after not receiving any update from Heather and fear that I would not receive my wedding photos as promised, I sent a demand letter and threatened legal action. I immediately received a reply, stating that the USB would be delivered that same day and that she had no obligation (even though i never asked for details, i simply wanted my item) to go in detail as to why she could not respond or deliver an item I inquired about for 6 weeks. The USB was finally delivered, but I was disappointed to say the least in the circumstances because we were truly grateful for Heather’s work, but the ending seemed extremely unprofessional to us. My husband and I spent our money and felt brushed off for weeks. Simple communication could have easily kept this experience rewarding.
