If we could give Blackboard 6 stars we would. We could not have been more pleased with their DJ work at our wedding. They were consummate professionals and kept the night going as ...
planned (even with a surprise performance by a guest). We had a few meetings prior to the wedding to go over specific music and songs on our do not playlist. We felt extremely comfortable giving Blackboard the reigns to the party and we could not have been happier. We got so many compliments on the DJ that we cannot recommend using them enough!
We used Blackboard music for the DJ for our wedding and they were absolutely phenomenal!!! The DJ talked with us several times before, offering tons of wisdom/wedding advice. On th...
e day of he coordinated the music and sound system for three different locations (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) perfectly. All the songs flowed well and he transitioned well between speeches to dancing etc. We had a Jewish wedding and our DJ got all our guests engaged for hora dancing and helped them along so it flowed well even for those who weren't familiar with that type of dancing. For the regular dancing portion of the night he was able to keep the party going for hours. So many of our guests commented on what a blast our event was and we owe a large part of that to the DJ for creating an amazing party with his music. Would recommend Blackboard music for any event!
We absolutely loved working with Max! He was super responsive from the first time we reached out to gather timeline details. He was a team player on the wedding day as well! His se...
t-up was beautiful and he did a great job keeping the dance floor full and his playlist was so fun! We would so love to work with him again!
Being a photographer I have worked with my fair share of DJ's. Max was kind, professional and very easy to work with. Also, he knows how to keep the party going with great music!...
Don't look any further!
Blackboard music dj’d a wedding I went
to this summer. The dj did a great job. He had a great music selection and created a good amtosphere.
Great DJ for our wedding and great to work with!! We got tons of compliments on the playlist.
We could not be happier with Blackboard Music. We used them for our son's Bar Mitzvah, but I wish they were there for our wedding. They made the planning so easy, and when we got t...
o the big day every single thing was perfect - the music, the lights, the ability to get everyone of every age up and dancing, everything. Something that made it really special for us was that some of our family's favorite music isn't dance music - and they worked with us to mix some of our favorite music into the event so that we could hear it during appetizers, meals, transition times, etc. Then when it was time to dance they had the perfect playlist that kept everyone engaged and dancing the whole time! Everyone was raving about it. And we did our event as a luncheon which sometimes means people don't feel like having a dance party - but Blackboard Music turned it into an epic daytime dance party. We will 100% book them again for our next event. Thank you for being amazing, Blackboard Music!
We hired Blackboard Music for my wedding reception last month. Max was our DJ and he did a PHENOMENAL job! I'm sure most couples leave their own wedding saying it was the best day...
ever... we had GUESTS telling us and our family members (unsolicited) that it was the most fun wedding they had attended! I know a lot of girls dream about their wedding day....I never thought about the dress, flowers, cake and decorations. My dream was always that it would be a wonderful celebration first and foremost. I dreamed about people dancing all night and Blackboard Music made my dream a reality. The transitions from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing were seamless. Max MCed it all very well. He was flexible with taking our requests and he could keep the party going without any direction as well. Blackboard Music is what your wedding celebration is missing.
My husband and I were engaged for three months so we had to plan fast. When we first contacted Our DJ we didn't have an exact date yet, we knew we wanted to do it September 5th (...
because of the holiday weekend), but had to make sure we could find the right venue & vendors. He gave us a quote and a run down of what it could look like if we were to contract with him & let us know he was available. We were excited! He helped me out a lot leading up to the day by sending me some possible outlines of what the ceremony and reception could look like. He was very flexible when I wanted to change things around. The day of he traveled to our ceremony site and made sure everything ran smoothly, and traveled to our seperate reception site. He was early, looked professional, and was friendly to our guests. My favorite thing about our DJ was that although he does not speak Spanish he was able to get all of my Family up and moving through the night. He played classics to Recent top chart songs! I can tell he really does his homework and comes prepared! Both families were very and my husband and I had a blast.
