They were super professional and had various meetings prior to the wedding to ensure we were setup for success. They even split-up to ensure that all pictures were taken while the bridal party & groomsmen party were getting ready. You can't even tell that someone else was taking the pictures. Cannot say enough how wonderful it was working with these two!!!

Wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but we were never worried about anything with them. They were responsive to emails/ texts/ calls throughout the whole process. We chose to have them do our engagement shoot which was an excellent way to get to know them. They immediately made us feel comfortable and made it seem like we have known them forever. Their attention to detail is impeccable and we could not have been happier with the end products. They were a calming presence during our wedding day and were so organized and made sure we got everything we wanted. They additionally worked seamlessly with our videography team. BlackLevel captured such special moments, both posed and candid, which created incredible memories for us to look at for years to come. We would 100% book them again in the future (and hope to soon) for any photography needs that come up.

ople . They had several photo packages to choose from and they were so flexible about making changes to the package throughout planning. The week before the wedding, We asked them to extend their time an extra hour so we could get more reception photos and they agreed without question. We really appreciated how organized and easy planning was with them. They always responded to questions/concerns quickly and helped us revise our timeline multiple times. They truly were amazing to work with on the wedding day. They made sure we stuck to our timeline, without making us feel stressed or overwhelmed when we were running behind. I never felt like they were in the way or disruptive during the ceremony. One of my favorite parts of the whole day was taking our bride/groom pictures on the golf course. They made it so FUN and just let us be our natural selves. We really felt like they captured us and our love story in such a natural and beautiful way! Our bridal party was also so impressed with their efficiency in getting pictures done. We were able to get all of our bridal party, family, and bride/groom pictures done before the cocktail hour started, which was important to us. It only took about 1 month for us to get our photos back! We were so excited and thrilled with how the pictures turned out. They really captured all the details and special moments from beginning to end! We could not have asked for better photographers for our wedding day!!

Upon booking, we received a welcome package with a few little gifts and a booklet that helped us organize and prioritize what we wanted for our wedding photography. We are so grateful for Dan & Britt’s help and expertise and skill in photographing our wedding day on August 13, 2022 at Bally Spring Inn. I still can’t get over how quickly we got the sneak peak in the blog post (which I could not stop looking at on our honeymoon!!!) and even our actual gallery! They are wizards in editing without a doubt. We aren’t photography people in any way, and we would certainly describe ourselves as “not very photogenic” most of the time. We felt at ease (as did our family & friends) at their guidance as well as felt beautiful/handsome! The first look hour felt like 15 minutes and was a ton of fun for both of us. bit untraditional in the fact that we got married in the Spring and then had a reception/bonfire in the Fall. We requested Dan to come to our Fall event and take our wedding photos outside on my parents farm. Dan did a great job capturing our personalities in our wedding photos (even when I shot my husband with a nerf gun at first looks). I could not have asked for a better photographer, even as I was in a panic setting up tables and decorations for the day, Dan was as cool and relaxed as could be assuring me we had time and to do what I needed and he will be ready when I was. Certainly gave me a calm that I didn't have as I was rushing around that day and he was willing to help us with anything we asked. It was a wonderful experience and made the day that much more special.

hem, they emphasize their use of natural light. Having no clue what that really changed/added, I just trusted them. Our pictures were beyond beautiful because of their use of light. The whole wedding seemed to be covered in a halo. All of my guests and friends who have seen the pictures have been blown away by them. Britt and Dan also take advantage of just the right angle and just the right atmosphere to create wonderful backgrounds for your photos. Really wonderful. But I also wanted to add how incredibly helpful Britt was the day of our wedding. She was the real MVP and I don't know what we would have done without her...and that has nothing to do with photos. She offered her assistance regularly without hesitation. My mother and aunt were struggling with the buttons of my dress, so Britt stepped in and helped them align the buttons. But her best moment was when, as my bridesmaids were about to walk down the aisle, my sister's zipper snapped and her whole back was exposed. The venue helpers ran for safety pins, etc, but Britt stepped in again and took the sash from my sister's dress and closed the back as much as she could and draped the sash around her shoulders so the skin peeking through was covered, and the sash on her back looked like a design choice. No one knew a thing happened. While Dan and Britt were with us, we really felt like they were "a part of the team" and their support was obviously so integral to the wedding. Thanks Dan and Britt! Our initial call was with Dan and he couldn't have had better energy. He was excited for us, listened well and always responded to us in a timely manner. We felt so comfortable with all the preparations and quickly sent them a deposit. They day of went so smoothly. They arrived on time, and just added this calming grace to our day. They were always there when we wanted them and never intrusive when we wanted our time to ourselves. They also added a wonderful barrier between us and family when opinions and decisions came about.
