Blackstone Rivers Ranch is an out of this world venue! It was magnificent. It was our first venue to tour and our last because we really didn't want to go to any other venue. It was love at first sight. Cheryl gave us the tour at Blackstone Rivers Ranch, she has a beautiful soul as did everyone who works for this venue. Each one of them were so kind and helpful. This venue has years of experience and a preferred list of vendors that make this process much easier and more relaxed as they work so well together (and as a bride you feel comfortable and confident that everything will go well). This is very important working as a team to create such a special day for two people. None of our family or invited friends knew about this place. We had guests from Minnesota, Mexico, California, Spain, Colombia, Panama, and other countries. We knew that they were making a huge sacrifice to be here on our special day. The time for the wedding arrived and when our guests arrived at Blackstone Rivers Ranch they were stunned and delighted, our guests did not stop commenting that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever been to. We had compliments about the venue, catering, DJ, coordinator, photographer, EVERYTHING from our guests. As a bride I was afraid of having the same problem as the other brides, who always had some complaint or something that did not go the way they wanted on their special day, BUT NO I was not one of those brides (YAY)! My wedding was the best and the most perfect thanks to Blackstone Rivers Ranch and their list of preferred vendors. Without the help of BRR my wedding would not have been possible to plan as perfectly. Every penny invested in this wedding was worth it to the fullest. My husband and I are more than sure that it was the best decision we have ever made in having a big wedding with 100 guests and not a small wedding with only 15 or 20 guests. My guests fell in love with our wedding and the venue and they couldn't stop talking about it. They all told us that it was worth the sacrifice they made to travel from far away to experience the beautiful views of the mountains and the river at the venue, the big and beautiful white tent. EVERYTHING was romantic and unique. My husband and I will always be grateful to BRR, our words and gratitude will not be enough for the enormous satisfaction and happiness we had on our wedding day. The day of our wedding was pure magic, thanks to the impeccable service and seamless execution by the Blackstone Rivers Ranch team. Honestly I knew I wanted to get married at Blackstone before I was even engaged. It's extremely close to Denver, which makes it easy for guests to attend, while feeling like you're in a secluded mountain woodland dream. The creek that flows through the venue had giant trout living their best lives, the grove of Aspen trees were basically free decor for our autumn wedding. This venue is extremely organized and professional so our day ran absolutely smoothly. We are so grateful we got to celebrate our dream wedding.

What a Venue!!! If you are looking for a mountain wedding venue close to Denver, look no further!! My destination wedding there was an absolute dream and my guests were awe-struck by the beauty of the entire property. We have gotten countless "This was the best wedding I have ever been to" comments. Also, their recommended vendors are TOP NOTCH and most of them know each other and have all worked together at Blackstone before, so literally everything went seamless! 10/10 recommend having your wedding or event at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. There is no way you will regret it!! I haven't gotten my professional photos back yet, but the attached are from my guests and vendors! Pro Tip WHEN you choose Blackstone Rivers Ranch: We had all of our wedding party and guests stay at the Ameristar Blackhawk Casino (25 min away from the venue) and it was incredible because the bar is open all night long and all the drinks were $4. So the casino after party (after both the rehearsal dinner at Tommy Knockers AND the wedding) were an absolute HIT. It's expensive to stay there but their prices dropped substantially the week before my wedding and most of our guests were able to cancel their rooms and re-book at the cheaper price. Also, Blackstone will make you use one of their required vendors for a planner and caterer, I HIGHLY suggest MAG events and Mountain Crust Catering (unlimited pizza buffet truck). My guests are still talking about the pizza and again "how it was the best wedding they had ever been to"

We couldn’t have picked a better venue. The location is great for planning for people out of town, as it’s not too far from Denver if your guests are staying there. The property is beautiful, and the mountain drive perfectly sets the mood as you pull up to the gate. The staff were great to deal with at every step of the process. The communication was clear and there were no surprises. At first, we were skeptical about choosing from a small list of vendors. But, looking back we wouldn’t change a single thing about the process. Our vendors were incredible, and the previous experience working together definitely showed. We didn’t have to worry about anything during our day (except one unruly aunt, sorry about that, lol). The staff made sure everything was taken care of before we needed to think about it. One of the only things you can’t control on your wedding day is the weather, and thankfully we had perfect weather. Blackstone was really showcasing its beauty during our mid-October wedding. The Blackstone property itself, as well as the surrounding area, gave us the most perfect day of weather we could’ve imagined. It was a snowy morning that turned into a sunny afternoon and settled into perfect, chilly, bonfire weather. It was our Fall Wedding dream come true. I’m writing this review pretty late, but in the time since our wedding, we have had so many guests bring up how beautiful Blackstone is and how wonderful their night was. For that, we cannot thank them enough.
